FrazT
You are receiving the error: ‘This application has failed to start because saAuditMD.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem’ Please download the following file http://downloads.sigames.com/download/saAuditMD.zip After you have downloaded, unzip the file saAuditMD.dll and place in the following folder: C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010
kullymeister
I checked, and it was there already !! So I decided to re-install it again ..and then put in the folder you said, and it still keeps coming up with that error ! It keeps saying that AUDIT2005 isnt there, when it is there ! SI Staff Miles Jacobson Posted October 31, 2009 SI Staff Share Posted October 31, 2009 If you can see that the file is in that directory, can you please try re-booting your PC, try playing the game again, and report back?

Neji
Try putting the dll file into C:\Windows\system32 or C:\Windows\system.
kullymeister
Shall I put it in both ?
Neji
Try system32 first, I think it goes in there. If that doesn't work, move it to system.
kullymeister
Should I copy it into system32 so it stays in the football manager folder aswell, or just move out of the football manager thing .. I now have 2 that appear ... one is AUDIT2005 and one is just AUDIT
Neji
Download the zip, you should be extracting saAuditMD.dll if it's named something different it won't work. Download the zip, extract it to system 32. Just leave the others where they are, it won't have any affect.
kullymeister
1. There are two files, one is call AUDIT2005 , one is AUDIT ... Do I move one, or both ? Also, when I move them to system 32, do I just copy them there so they stay in the football manager folder ? or do I cut them ? .. If it doesnt work, do I just copy or cut them to system from system 32 The message I keep getting is AUDIT2005 isnt found, I now have both located in the football manager folder .. what do I do ? saAudit2005 has always been there, but it just hasnt read it, so I extraced the saAudit from the given link above, put that there aswell and didnt work, I then did it with just aUDIT ANd no audit2005 and didnt work, then did it with just audit2005 and still didnt work 2. It keeps telling me that instillation is done but there are errors and I need to check my installation log, Im on vista basic, how do I do this ?? ArdaFM
Hey there. Had you pre loaded the game before the release? or downloaded it after the release. Because i have a feeling that these problems happen to the people whom pre loaded the game first and than started playing it after the release. I had such a similar problem It gave me the steam_api.dll error So i uninstalled Steam and so FM10 was also uninstalled. Than reinstalled steam and downloaded the game and never had the .dll error again.
kullymeister
That happened first , IF BY PRE LOADED you mean had the demo on heRE ?.. so I uninstalled the steam thing, fm live, the demo first .. and then installed FM10

Macolus
I've got this error too. Anyone know how to sort it? Guys, dll files should be in your game dir. If so, copy them into Windows\system32\. It worked for me (vista home premium os). Hope it helps. It seems like a simple bug.
peter-evo
It's a strange one. I have to go to the my programs directory to start the game for the first time after booting my PC, after that, it will run from the desktop shortcut.

Hamselv
How do you do that dont I need to mount it with daemon tools or somthing ? If you have bought the game, then I doubt you'll need to use daemon tools for anything. Judging by the name of the dll file, I would guess it has something to do with the copy protection, so that might be your problem.

Alidance
So i m writing these words desperated by error connected with the topic name. At first i got this error once i have played for ~ a season. after the sudden error it started to continue at the booting. As a coordinal decision guy i v decided 2 reinstall the system but the error appeared kinda in a same time. Reinstalled the system ~3-4 times i was quite bored of that just in case playing the only game especially i v spend money for -.-'. I started 2 serf for this problem at last having tryed almost all ways i v read about at this community (yap i tryed the uploaded file from faq and put one in system(32) and tried different types of choices etc. and i v cleaned my pc of every part of fm b4 each try). At last when voodoo shamans and that serbian physiotherapist couldnt either help that i finally decided 2 right some words about my situation at the suitable topic. My data: - Hardware. Toshiba A300D - 11V - Software: OS - Windows Vista Enterprise SP2, Fm version - box one.
