Adamw
I have holidayed the season, I just need to write the update. When this will be done, I have no idea, I've just been overloaded with college work for the past couple of weeks, so it's slow going at the moment. Hopefully it will be done soon though

Adamw
Play-Offs: Division Two/Three - Berkshire won the first leg 3-1 against Dorset, but then lost 3-0 in the return leg, meaning Dorset were in the final. The other semi-final saw Northamptonshire defeated by relegation threatened Cambridgeshire on the away goals rule, after a 2-2 draw overall. The final however saw Cambridgeshire's relegation confirmed as Dorset were promoted after a 5-2 aggregate win, Division Three/Four - Would the Isles of Scilly break their play-off hoodoo? No. They were beaten 5-1 overall by Rutland in the first semi-final, the other saw the Isle of Man defeat Suffolk 5-2 on aggregate. And the final saw the Isle of Man win again, keeping their Division Three status. Despite losing the first leg 2-1, they beat Rutland 3-0 in the 2nd leg. FP Trophy: In a huge upset, it was Division Two Devon who won after a 2-0 victory over Gloucestershire, meaning it is the 2nd time they have won it. League Cup: Gloucestershire were in this final as well. They were unable to beat a Division Two side, but they were able to beat the champions, Leicestershire, 3-2 after extra time. Challenge Cup: In an all Division Three encounter, Wiltshire lifted the trophy for a second time after a 1-0 victory over Northamptonshire. European Qualification for next year: Champions League - Leicestershire Europa League - Hampshire, Devon InterToto Cup - Durham And how the clubs did in Europe: Gloucestershire: Gloucestershire's first venture into the Champions League ended very quickly - despite beating Partizan 3-2 at home, they lost 3-1 away which ended the European adventure for this season Leicestershire: Their first qualifying game saw them dispatch Estonian Trans 5-0 on aggregate, and in the second qualifying game, a 4-2 victory over Slavija. Their first round match saw them drawn against Liverpool. Their hopes were all but over after a 3-0 away defeat, but Leicestershire didn't give up, and in the second leg, scored. And then they scored again. And again. They were 3-0 up, and held that scoreline until the 83rd minute, when a Liverpool goal broke Leicestershire hearts. Hampshire: Their first match was against a Kazakhstani team (I really can't be bothered to spell it), they won anyway 5-1. However, their second game saw them against tougher opposition, Mallorca, and that proved to be the case, beaten 4-0 an aggregate. Derbyshire: Their first game was against Belarussian side MTZ-Ripo. It should have been an easy victory, and they did win in Belarus, 3-2. However, they lost at home 1-0, but still went through on the away goals rule. Their next game was against Swiss side St. Gallen. This was a more comfortable victory, a 5-2 aggregate win. They were one round away from the group stages, and Belenenses, their next opposition, was a team that could be beaten. Despite losing the away leg 2-1, there was hope they could progress. Unfortunately, a 2-0 defeat ended those hopes. Durham: Partizani were Durham's first, and last opponents. A 2-2 draw away from home followed by a 3-2 home defeat to the Albanian outfit were the scores.

Adamw
Season 2012-13 - League Tables Division 1 In a huge surprise, Sussex won Division 1. They battled it out with Leicestershire all season, and were top for the most of it. However, with 2 matches left, the title seemed to have slipped from their grasp as they were beaten 2-0 by their rivals. It went to the final day of the season, both level on points. Sussex could only muster a draw against Herefordshire, but Leicestershire were thrashed 4-1 by Surrey, which meant the title was heading to the South Coast. Down the bottom, it was extremely tight, and again, like at the top, it went to the final day to decide it, with the Isle of Wight and Durham surviving as Warwickshire were relegated. Division 2 Buckinghamshire ran way with the title, no one else troubled them all season as they stormed to the title, and promotion to Division 1. Down the bottom, it was a tighter affair, Staffordshire and Wiltshire involved in a relegation dogfight. In the end, it was Wiltshire who ended up in the automatic relegation spot, while Staffordshire would have to make do with the play-offs. Division 3 Last season's Division 4 champions ended up Champions of Division 3, but it was a tight affair. All of the top 4 teams were swapping positions with each other, before a late surge by Norfolk lifted them to promotion. Despite a late effort by the Isle of Man, the other 3 teams involved in the title fight all managed to get a play-off spot, so they'll battle it out with Staffordshire for a place in Division 2. It wasn't so tight down the bottom, Berkshire were bottom for most of the season. It was tighter as that relegation play-off spot was still open, in the end, it was Merseyside who would have to do battle with the 3 teams in Division 4. Division 4 The race for the title was between Suffolk and the Isles of Scilly, the nearly men on so many occasions. And the nearly men would once more have to do it through the play-offs, as Suffolk ended up Champions. Lincolnshire and Cheshire were the other teams, decided on the final day after Shropshire were beaten, and Rutland, despite a victory, missed out. Northumberland, winners of this division 3 years ago, were now the ones propping everyone up. Play-offs Division 2/3 - Nottinghamshire 2-1 Cambridgeshire; Cambridgeshire 2-0 Nottinghamshire - Cambridgeshire win 3-2 on aggregate Glamorgan 0-4 Staffordshire; Staffordshire 2-1 Glamorgan - Staffordshire win 6-1 on aggregate Final - Cambridgeshire 0-1 Staffordshire. Both teams will therefore remain in their original divisions. Division 3/4 - Isles of Scilly 1-3 Cheshire; Cheshire 1-0 Isles of Scilly - Cheshire win 4-1 on aggregate Lincolnshire 1-0 Merseyside; Merseyside 2-2 Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire win 3-2 on aggregate. Merseyside are relegated to Division 4. Final - Cheshire 2-1 Lincolnshire. Cheshire are promoted to Division 3.
Adamw
Season 2013-14 - Cups FP Trophy - Gloucestershire 2-0 Lancashire League Cup - Warwickshire 2-2 Durham (Warwickshire won 4-2 on pens). Although ultimately, it was Durham who had the last laugh, as they stayed up, while Warwickshire were relegated. Challenge Cup - Worcestershire 2-0 Middlesex Europe Champions League Leicestershire were the only team from the County Championship in this competiton, and entered at the 2nd qualifying round stage. A 5-2 aggregate win over Moldovan team Sheriff set them up for a 3rd qualifying round match against Fiorentina. And they got off to a superb start, winning the home leg 1-0. 90 minutes seperated them from a place in the Group Stages, but unfortunately they were beaten 3-0 in Italy, and would now have to make do in the Europa League Europa League As well as Leicestershire, Hampshire and Devon were also involved in this competition. Durham were also involved, but first had to go through the InterToto Cup. A 6-2 aggregate victory over Marsaxlokk, a tight 1-0 aggregate win against Panionios and a 5-4 aggregate win over Konyaspor, were the results that got Durham through. The first stage was the first qualifying round, which both Hampshire and Devon were involved in. Devon had Azerbaijani opponents in Netfci, and a 3-0 aggregate win sent them through to the next round. Hampshire also progressed, a 2-0 aggregate win over BATE from Belarus. Durham entered the competition at the 2nd qualfiying round stage, and negotiated past Swiss team Young Boys. They lost the home leg 2-1, but won the away leg 3-1 to progress. It was also good news for Hampshire, a 5-2 aggregate win over Belgian side Zulte Waregem. Devon had a harder tie against Brondby, and two narrow defeats saw them exit the competiton. The next stage was the First Round, victory here would mean qualification to the Group Stages. This is were Leicestershire entered the competition. Durham were given a dream tie against Newcastle, but were ultimately slaughtered, 7-0 on aggregate. Hampshire also endured a defeat, despite a 1-0 home win over Marítimo, they were beaten 3-0 in Portugal, to mean that all the hopes were pinned against Leicestershire. They had a potentially tricky tie against Auxerre. But all those fears were put to bed when they thrashed them 3-0 at home, and despite a 1-0 defeat in France, were through to the Group Stages. Leicestershire were drawn with Boavista, CSKA Moscow, Dortmund, and the winners of this competiton last year, Liverpool. Their first match was against CSKA Moscow, where they gained a creditable 1-1 draw. The second match was against Boavista, and narrowly lost 2-1. The third match, against Liverpool, ended in a 0-0 draw, but were unlucky not to pick up the three points. Going into the final match in Dortmund, there was still a chance of progressing, but those hopes ended as they were beaten 1-0. Despite finishing bottom of the group, overall they gave a decent account of themselves. The teams in Europe next season will be Sussex (Champions League), Leicestershire (Europa League), Gloucestershire (Europa League) and Surrey (InterToto Cup) - Hampshire and Somerset didn't bother applying so Surrey got this spot. Adamw
Toshack retired after that season so it was a pretty good season for him. Once I've done the rest of the stuff (transfers, and the player stats) then I'll holiday the first month of the new season and then just say who the new managers are of the clubs where their manager is vacant.
