Hey guys once more an apology its already up to Sunday Afternoon and I have not had a cance to get anything done on this after I had to pull a quick fix when it broke 3 days short of the save date for the first update. So I am going to run far enough ahead to just need to start writing updates and I will pass on the first update as soon as I can, but fair warning work is hectic at the moment and most nights I am coming home and going straight to bed cause I am so shattered.

Well guys it is now friday here and after having worked all week 11-12 hours, after today I should have time to start writing the first 3-4 updates, The first season has all been holidayed through, I will have try to write them all up tonight, but it will probably see the first one tonight October 1st, and then the rest during the day on Saturday. :) Just working this much I end up shattered and coming home to fall into bed haha.

Williamson

United vs St Agatha 5-3

Kapllani (3), Torje, OG : Selva (3)

San Gwann 0-0-1 -1 0
St Agatha 0-0-1 -2 0

Well a great start by United, though St Agatha would have to be delighted with how well they pushed a team from the top league. The only group with three wins.

Outcasts Cup Group Stages

The Games

Round 3 - Wednesday 13th August

Group A

Astana vs Eskimos 1-3

Nuserbaev : Guomundsson, Gudjohnsen, Helguson

Fandita vs Blue Star 1-3

OG : Keirrison (2), Vukcevic

Leopards vs Pyongyang 2-2

Beckham, Abdul Halim : Jung (2)

Team Record G.D. Pts
Blue Star 3-0-0 +10 9
Pyongyang 1-2-0 +3 6
Eskimos 2-0-1 0 6

Astana 0-1-2 -6 1
Fandita 0-0-3 -6 0

The First goal against Blue Star comes from an Own Goal, putting it past their own goalie was the biggest problem. Astana and Fandita are nearly out of it as they challenge to keep up.

Group B

AD Escobar vs Serangoon 0-1

Own Goal

Balzers vs HKFC 4-1

Beck (2), Bergessio, Burgmeier : So Chin Hung

The Maoris vs Auckland 2-1

Javi Martinez, Aloisi : Wilson

Team Record G.D. Pts
Serangoon 2-1-0 +2 7
The Maoris 1-2-0 +1 5
Balzers 1-2-0 +3 5
AD Escobar 0-2-1 -1 2
HKFC 0-2-1 -3 2
Auckland 0-1-2 -2 1

The battle of the Maori squads ended with the Samoans taking the title out in match one, surely they will meet again in the future, but for now Auckland will be licking their wounds.

Group C

St Agatha vs San Gwann 3-0

Adrien, OG, Valentini

Tallin vs Red Stripes 2-0

Kink, Jaager

United vs Masaya 1-0

Curri

Team Record G.D. Pts
Tallin 3-0-0 +5 9
United 2-0-1 +2 6
Red Stripes 2-0-1 0 6
St Agatha 1-0-2 0 3
Masaya 1-0-2 -1 3
San Gwann 0-0-3 -6 0

Jaager keeps on scoring a goal per game for the Tallin Ice Bears as they top the table by knocking off Kingston in the top of table clash.

Great, some updates...

But I'm not in the Cup, why is that?

"The Outcast Cup is a competition with the top 18 clubs from the nation this means it features 12 teams from the top division as well as the top 6 teams from Division One."

Sadly, your team is not in the top 18 this season.

Cracking stuff, Des.

A great start for Blue Star, with the Vucinic-Keirrison strike partnership looking fearsome as expected. Vukcevic is chipping in with a few goals too. Stevan Jovetic seems to be being kept out of the side though, or at least the goals! A couple more results like we've been having, and the quarter finals look almost certain.

Hello, I really must apologise for my lack of contact with this thread, but my internet died a horrible death and then I went on a 3 week holiday, so now I'm back after a few stressful phone calls to my service provider.

This is looking really good despite Auckland being bottom of the pile. Thanks for keeping my place Lower Leagues Rule, KUTGW!

One season update in two and a half weeks...this thread seems dead to me...

After all the work already put in? I doubt it. More probable work/life got in the way. I tried running a pathetically small signup once and still only managed one update. I had no idea how difficult it was to find the time to edit it, run it, sort and publish screen captures, write it etc etc. until I tried for myself. This has been a mammoth task that has been run very well until recently so give the man a break

And again as I have said guys this is continuing, but work is a ***** and hence I am not able to get the time to write updates during the week, also getting called in both Saturday and Sunday to fix problems didn't help last weekend.

Thanks for the support Hamuel and I will guarantee more updates on Saturday during my day time :)

Is it really the worst teams or is it just selected at random?

From my knowledge of Malaysia (a bit limited :D), the Cup takes the teams that finished in the top 6 in the 2nd tier the previous season. So it might not necessarily be the best 6, it depends what previous position LLR set for the created teams.

Don't worry about the lack of updates LLR, work is more important, whenever you have time to do them is fine by me. I'm away (again) for a couple of weeks after today, so that will be why I won't be contributing for a while.

Sorry guys but I am just going to have to postpone. I will keep all the data and start it if I can, but life has got waaaay too busy with work and everything else I have just had no freetime at all. I hope I can start again at a later point, but if not I'm sooo sorry. Real life sucks. :)
