The person that popped me out just over 19years and 5 months ago has just criminally tried to give away my copy of CM01/02 to the charity shop and this was after she'd bundled it into a box for the car boot sale she attended on Saturday.

Scandalous, needless to say words were had.

No offence to your mother but HOW STUPID!!!!!! Everyone needs an old school fix every now and then! I've got every copy I've ever owned since CM01/02 apart from FM07, my mate bought it from me for £10, not bad considering I saw it on ebay for £5 not long after

Not particularly, sitting on the kitchen side but that's safe enough as she daren't lay her mits on it again unless instructed to.

Oh the hilarity, upon opening the box the actual disk isn't in there and it was infact a Championship Manager tips&tactics disk from 2002 which i can only assume came with the CM Magazine. Superb.

All my old FMs/CMs line my top shelf and my mum regularly asks me why I need to keep them all. She should mind her own business.

I give away 07 to a good friend of mine and he repayed me by asking for 08 when im finished with it! No chance!

I don't keep my old ones, usually give them to friends, which encourages them to buy the new ones.

I bought an old SNES and Mega Drive last year, picked the lot up with 4 games each for £20! I thought it was a bargain for a fiddle with old school!

Was it the NES or SNES I wish I still had the NES I remember how good that seemed when I was young.

I have all my old consoles. I couldn't possible get rid of the amazing Amiga or the PSX.

I have CM4 (where I started my managerial career) and FM's 05, 06 and 07 lined up on a shelf in my wardrobe, soon to be joined by 08.

Thankfully it's my own house and my missus isn't at all interested in all the little things I hoard away.

She knows just to stay away from "My stuff".

i think i know the one you are talking about, you shot at boxes to get better weapons, problem was 1 shot would kill you, god I loved that game. took me months to actually finish it.

and yes, duck hunt was the sh*t! used to play it everytime someone annoyed me!

ahh, the good old days, think I might be downloaded some more old games tonight, already finished Mario Bros 3 on my computer the other week.
