Rafa2007
Well was just about to play Stafford away as my Alfreton team, only to get this message pop up in my inbox, Thought it was a nice little added in by SI, never seen it before and was quite surprised when it came up! AlexNFFC
Waterlogged pitches happen to me quite often, at least 2 a season. The trouble is, the re-arranged matches often lead to an unwanted fixture pile-up! The joys of lower league management!
Mike J
I had a waterlogged pitch cause a real pile-up of fixtures at the end of my last season. I wouldn't have minded so much but it was in Spain in April. Never had it happen in Britain.

Macflyer
Happens quite often to me. The lower the league, the poorer the club, the worse the pitch. One of your board requests should be to redo the pitch, if it happens too often.

Vandalay
you cant have been playing the game long if you have just discovered this Not if they managed mostly in the top division.
bomma
Not if they managed mostly in the top division. true i suppose but there has been a few thread about this in the past though
Lord Rowell
I'm currently managing Blyth Spartans and this has happened 3 times in relatively short succession (I'm in my 2nd season). It is a nice touch. My pitch condition is pretty dreadful (getting relaid at end of season) and it has a muddy brown appearance, like a bog!
Larker
i was going to suggest this for fm10 didnt know it could happen i love the little things that make fm top dollarrrrr!
NMac1994
But IRL surely it would have to be postponed for longer than half a week, police and all that to book in?
alimac
I've noticed a few non league games postponed. Never in the league games though.
easternhawk2
It only tends to happen in the lower leagues as league clubs can afford to realy the pitch when it gets too bad.
Russ_WWFC
I has it loads of times in my AFC Telford game

Marquez
Yeah, I had it alot when I was managing King's Lynn. Not hard to understand why they were demoted

PluckaDuck
Are there clubs that suffer from water-logged pitches more than others? For example, I would expect Torquay to get more postponemnt's than Athletico Madrid?
easternhawk2
Are there clubs that suffer from water-logged pitches more than others? For example, I would expect Torquay to get more postponemnt's than Athletico Madrid? Yep. Lower league clubs get more postponements than top league clubs because they don't have as much money so they can't afford to realy the pitch. TomHAVFC
For example, I would expect Torquay to get more postponemnt's than Athletico Madrid? Really? Wow, I thought Athletico Madrid, would of had more postponements due to a waterlogged pitch due to the really bad weather over in Madrid. Jeez. Wow, I thought Athletico Madrid, would of had more postponements due to a waterlogged pitch due to the really bad weather over in Madrid.Jeez. Is there really any need for you to add constant sarcasm to so many threads TomHAVFC? This must be the fifth or sixth sarcastic (in a negative way) post I have seen from you. What is the need for it, surely you can think of something nicer or more constructive than the above babble, or do you just have a personality disorder?
