In the 2nd season i brought in Costil for like £11M.I just started my 3rd PL campaign after finishing 6th and 4th in the first two seasons. Billy Sharp was amazing for me, becoming topscorer for two yrs in a row (27 & 38 goals). now i'm on the top of the standings with a 7-0-1 record only losing to arsenal at emirates. my team looks like: GK: Costil/Thompson (regen) DR: Bocaly, Dembelé (regen), Fanni CB: Russ, Valiente, Sakho, Prödl DL: Traoré, Caragin (regen) DM/MC: Stélvio, Gökhan, Nieminen (regen), Cattermole, Bruno AM: Galván, Kenia, Scannell, Forestieri, Galkauskas (regen) ST: Sharp, Alexandropoulos (regen), Knezevic (regen) this season i brough in: Knezevic £8.25M Bocaly £11M (prob too much but i was desperate on getting another DR) forestieri £7.5M Just finished the season and won the EPL title for the first time! still there is the fa cup final left against ManCity but i'll prob play that tomorrow. jaaaws Posted September 10, 2008 Share Posted September 10, 2008 yeah. vaughan didn't get much first team football in arsenal und johnson wasn't happy at relegated reading. i'm really happy about the transfers so far and still have about £25m to spend. i am thinking of buying micah richards who is at as roma atm. he's worth £14.5M. the other three are young players for the future. let's see if they'll make the first team some day. I've joined the full-time working droves in the real-world now lol! well only just, i do outreach work - so i spend my days chatting to playing football with hard-to-reach groups (youths, homeless, jobseekers, immigrants, drug/alcohol dependancy etc..) - i'm loving, best job in the world Havn't played the old oxford game in a while, I'll fire her up and see what's what!
