DazRTaylor
So after the bug I found made my Andorran save dead and my East Kilbride save ending abruptly, I am starting again, in the lowest Scottish league available where promotion is eventually possible to the top flight. I am using the league created by @Morrissey. You can find the file here. Game Type - One club, youth only. I will be at Scottish club Tynecastle FC until I either retire, get sacked, or give up! I cannot sign anyone and must rely fully on our youth academy. Reputation - Sunday League. Starting Qualifications - None. Editor's Used - Real Competition Names. Huge database. The Scottish league database as stated above. Leagues Loaded Scotland. Number of Nations Loaded - One. Number of Leagues Loaded - Ten. Number of Players Loaded - 15,660. I have loaded all players from the Scottish leagues, including those in the lower leagues, as well as all players of Scottish nationality. Database Size - Huge. Game Start Date - 29 May 2017. Updates - I only intend to update at the end of each season, together with the youth candidates day. Youth - As this is a youth only save, I will tag all who are rated to have 3 stars potential and above. YP18A1 for example, would mean Youth Player from 2018. The "A" means he is the best prospect from that intake and the "1" means he is the first youth prospect I have produced in my career. Records - If you have ever read one of my threads, you will know I am a bit of a statto, so will be keeping detailed records during this save which you can see in the next few posts. DazRTaylor
TEAM RECORDS - SINGLE GAME & SEQUENCE This section details the records I have achieved during this save. Each section is self explanatory and the records show the progression of each. All records are during competitive games only so friendlies do not count. Where I have equalled a record, only the first time I hit that record will be recorded. Wavelberry
Just now, DazRTaylor said: I would...if I still had the save. Once it ended I deleted it. That's impressive rage-quitting Daz. You might have been better off downloading the @Morrissey database and starting your youth only in the Lowland/Highland leagues. More time to get the youth up etc and less chance of getting fired (despite the fact my first manager got fired).

I know it is realistic, but the bottom tier can only go so far before you cannot be promoted. Might therefore try as Tynecastle. The lowest league that can still make it to the top. DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Day Season 2017/18 Tynecastle FC The expected message, considering I have just one player: Two five star current ability and one further four star current ability, these three are shown below. DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2017/18 Tynecastle FC League Table - Considering we were expected to finish ninth, I am very happy with a third place finish. We never challenged for the top spot, but that will come, I hope. League Fixtures - Overall, very good, though we did drop some silly points at times. SFA South Challenge Cup - A good run saw us eliminated at East Kilbride in the quarter final. An away win at Selkirk, who play a division higher than us, was the highlight. Central Taxis League Cup - A loss and a draw in the group stage saw us finish bottom of our group and therefore eliminated. Football Nation Qualifying Cup - Gretna 2008, from the division above, defeated us in the first round at their place. We did take them to extra time, however. King Cup - A disappointing home defeat to Tweedmouth saw us go out in the first round. Alex Jack Cup - A terrific competition that ultimately ended in heartbreak. Back to back away wins saw us in the final against Peebles Rovers and we played out an extraordinary 5-5 draw, before losing on penalties. Pre Season Friendlies - Just three defeats in the ten games played was encouraging. Squad - Some good players for this level, though some rather glaring holes. Good to see all players have signed on for next season. Squad Dynamics - Due to two coaching qualifications, the squad like me and cohesion is not too bad. Transfers - No one came in, obviously and no one went out. Finances - Not good as we have slipped into the red. Key Players Greg Ross - The one player who was at the club when I started. Despite a good youth intake, he is still the best player at the club. A good season. Jordan Henry YP18B2 - English striker who I have high hopes for. He finished the season with three successive hat tricks to end with ten goals from just four games. Dominic Waddell YP18A1 - Right back who is regarded as the best prospect from the youth intake. A big shame that he plays in the same position as Greg Ross. Ally Taylor YP18C3 - The youngster plays on the right hand side of midfield and should be a starter for some time to come. Damian McDonald YP18D4 - Central defender who has had a solid start to life as a semi-professional footballer. Next Season Challenge for a top two spot and an outside chance of competing for a promotion playoff place. Lifting a cup would be good too. DazRTaylor
I have agreed a new philosophy with the board. Namely, bringing through youth players from the academy. As a youth only save, it is a no brainer.

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2018/19 Tynecastle FC League Table - Talk about blowing it. We were five points clear at one stage, but a run of six league games without a win in the second half of the season, put paid to our promotion hopes. League winners Kelty Hearts finished with ten straight wins to secure the title. League Fixtures - Overall, I should be pleased, but blowing a five point lead makes me angry. Some of those games we didn't win in our winless run we should of won comfortably. SFA South Challenge Cup - A tough draw saw us eliminated at home by East Stirlingshire in the first round. We did take them to extra time though. Central Taxis League Cup - The same draw as last year and the same result. We finished bottom of the group, with a draw and a heavy loss. Football Nation Qualifying Cup - A fantastic cup run that saw us go all the way to the final before succumbing to Vale of Leithen. We defeated two higher division clubs en route to the final. King Cup - Another first round elimination, this time at Tweedmouth Rangers. Alex Jack Cup - A poor performance at home to Coldstream saw the club eliminated in the quarter finals, the round we entered the competition. No repeat of last years final for us. Pre Season Friendlies - We played seven games, all at home and all against higher division opponents. With only two defeats, I was pleased with the progress made. Squad - The squad continues to improve, though defence is a worry. Squad Dynamics - The club seem to like me as do the players. Transfers - No activity at all. Finances - Not good as we continue to lose money. Key Players Greg Ross - The right back is aging, though he continues to be our best player. Jordan Henry YP18B2 - It was no coincidence that our poor run of form was when this striker was injured. We are just not the same team without him. Aaron McGregor YP19A17 - Newly arrived at the club through this years youth intake, he is versatile and has that bit of quality we need. Can play in defensive midfield, central midfield or be deployed as an attacking midfielder. Dominic Waddell YP18A1 - Right back who has cemented his place in the side, now that I have found a place for Greg Ross in central defence. Ally Taylor YP18C3 - Right sided midfielder who has had an excellent campaign. Next Season A promotion push. If we can avoid long winless runs, there is no reason why we cannot go up. DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2019/20 Tynecastle FC League Table - We dropped two places on last season, finishing fourth. We had another promising first half of the season before it all went wrong again. The top four were so far ahead of the rest. League Fixtures - We were excellent up until just before Christmas. Then we fell apart. We did recover our form somewhat, but by then the damage was done. SFA South Challenge Cup - We made it through to the third round before Edusport, from the league above, defeated us at home. Central Taxis League Cup - Having never got out of the group stage previously, we went all the way this season, after finishing runners up in our group. We beat Gala Fairydean Rovers in the final to lift my first piece of silverware. Football Nation Qualifying Cup - A decent run through to the semi finals before losing at home on penalties to Gala Fairydean Rovers at the semi final stage. We beat Vale of Leithen in the quarter final, to take revenge on last years final loss. King Cup - We made it all the way to the final, for our second cup final of the season. We defeated Leith for our second trophy of the season! Alex Jack Cup - Eliminated at the first time of asking, going out to Tweedmouth. Pre season Friendlies - Seven games and five defeats was a tough start. Squad - A few good players but the squad lacks quality overall. Squad Dynamics - I am well liked, so I do not think my job is under pressure. Transfers - Two departures, including the forced sale of our star striker. Finances - Our losses continue and until we turn it around, the facilities won't be improved. Our finances are now listed as Insecure. Key Players Greg Ross - He continues to age and he continues to perform well. Aaron McGregor YP19A17 - The midfielder continues to impress. Jamie Maguire YP20A33 - Newly arrived through the academy this year, the goalkeeper has immediately made himself the number one. Dominic Waddell YP18A1 - The right back has played well throughout the season. Ally Taylor YP18C3 - The right sided midfielder has excelled this season.
