The Biography only shows league games I think.
If I look at Lucio's Biography it shows that he has only scored 34 goals. In reality he has actually scored 45 goals.

Interesting to know that.

He got fairly close to breaking the record of 16.. He hit 14 and I only had him in taking penalties. Anyway, here is his record after his first season as a goalscoring keeper.

Lucio career stats.
He was produced by the AC Milan Academy and my scout found him early. I kept making bids and these were often accepted, (at quite reasonable amounts), but he was never interested in joining. I kept at it though until one day he just said yes. I can't remember why I agreed to loan him back to AC. I think I just thought he was too young at 18 and if I didn't want to play him, I at least wanted him to be playing elsewhere. Summary. We started the season well, (as did Lucio), but we had a real stinker during the run-in and Lucio's form seemed to dip in-line with our own. He had 4 penalties saved this season, 3 in a row and 4 out of 5 at one point and this obviously had an impact. 6 of his goals came from pens and he tucked away a couple of nice free-kicks too. The 4 missed pens would have taken his tally to 12 and I think anything 10+ is a good return. This season he and we certainly fell short. The free-kick and penalty attributes for GK's are not weighted, so as Lucio is now 24, (and almost at his potential), I had decided to change his training away from GK attributes and instead focus on Free Kicks - Heavy. I am looking for reasons why he performed poorly this season, (anything), and so I will immediately be reverting to Goalkeeper - Heavy. I do intend to go back to free-kicks, but maybe when I see Lucio as completely maxed out in terms of development. I just want to do anything I can to try and avoid 3 consecutive pen misses, (yes, even just superstitious nonsense. lol). My target for this season was to break the 50 goal barrier and we obviously fell short.

Uncatchable... Almost. I had one awesome season and now the goals are just drying up. You are still having some good returns and Lucio is still really young. I think it is possible if you can keep up your strike rate and keep him on well into his thirties.

Managed to add 4 more to his tally in fewer appearances than last year as he starts to adjust to life in the top league. The team really struggled this year and managed to stay up, with a relegation battle coming down to the last game of the season. This was his first season where his rating dipped below 7 as well just to show how much the team was struggling on the pitch.

Giacomo Venturi - 30 Years of Age

4 goals and 12 cleansheets in a solid year for the side who finished 3rd in the Serie A. He conceeded 48 goals which is a good return from 44 games. It is also the first time he has played every game of the season. He now has 36 goals at the age of 30. He may be lucky to reach 50 by the time his career comes to a close, but he will need to remain first choice for the next 3-4 years to achieve this, which is highly unlikely.

Doing this in conjunction with my Lurgan Celtic save. My keeper Marc Robinson netted 5 times last season with 6 assists. He also managed to concede 108 goals and only keep one clean sheet. I forgive him though as he is a goal machine (sort of).

Giacomo Venturi - 31 Years of Age

Continental football was brutal as he conceded 24 goals in 14 games, over half of his total of 46 in 38 from domestic football. He still managed 17 cleansheets and 5 goals, but at the age of 31, he is going to find it harder and harder to retain his spot between the sticks. He is still putting in solid performances, with an average of 7.10 from his 52 matches, which are a career high in matches in a season.

With European football more regular, he may have more opportunity to score, but is also likely to wear our a bit faster too.

Giacomo Venturi - 32 Years of Age

Now 32, and starting to show his age, this could be his last season as the first choice keeper between the sticks. He still had a good run, scoring 6 goals and getting 17 cleansheets, which leaves him 3 short of breaking the 50 goal mark. He may not get the chance with the likely hood of having less game time next year, but here is hoping as he is fairly close to a few milestones.

It gives you a chance to look for a young keeper to start the challenge with again. I will be doing the same thing in a year or two in my save as my scoring keeper has become second string due to age and fighting for the title. I am just looking for that good enough keeper who is also extremely young (hopefully through my academy).

He's 27 now.

He has missed a few pens recently and also missed out on a few more due to the hat-trick bug allocating someone else.

I have a couple of good high PA GK youngsters, a 16yo (GER) and a 20yo HG (ITA). The only thing that would have stopped me picking Lucio was an outrageous PA (SMR) GK, but so far no joy, (recent batch were pants), and the best (SMR) GK is still a whole 2.0 PA stars behind Lucio.

Well I have just checked his stats and he scored 9 goals this season, (5 pens from 6 attempts, so that means 4 free-kicks). I thought he had missed more pens than that this season, but players on a HT who take them often seem to miss so maybe that has affected my memory.

My initial target is 100 with him, and then 111 which is the highest pictorial record I have from McIlmurray back in the day, but the ultimate target has to be to chase down Rogerio Ceni's record, (currently 123 I think).

If he can keep scoring at almost 10 a season then he would be hitting 100 goals when he is 30, 111 when he is 32 and 123 when he is 34. That seems pretty realistic. The only issue is actually getting the time to play 7 more seasons, (not been playing much recently). Plan to have a nice long weekend of it this weekend. Already can't wait.

Feb 2039 update.

Lucio has just scored his 80th career goal, (a direct free-kick).

He is 28 years old, valued at £34M, (we bought him for £5.25M), and has so far kept as many clean sheets this season, (19), as he has conceded goals, (also 19).

He's missed 3 games this season while he was out injured with a pulled hamstring, but he was lucky it wasn't more as it coincided with the Winter break.

He has now scored 9 goals this season, in 32 games, and is the 2nd top goal-scorer in the club this season, (with at least 17 games left in League, Champions league and Italian Cup).

I am yet to get a replacement for Venturi yet, as I have not had a keeper young enough for me to want to start this challenge, but Lucio looks like he may set the new standard at the rate he is going at! Keep it up.

He was produced by the AC Milan Academy and my scout found him early. I kept making bids and these were often accepted, (at quite reasonable amounts), but he was never interested in joining. I kept at it though until one day he just said yes. I can't remember why I agreed to loan him back to AC. I think I just thought he was too young at 18 and if I didn't want to play him, I at least wanted him to be playing elsewhere. That he kept 3 clean sheets in 4 Serie A games while only 17 is unusual, but when you see that he played in Europe for AC, (twice), aged only 16, you know you have got something special on your hands.

It's been a slow start to the 2039/40 season for Lucio.

Usually Lucio starts each season scoring at a ridiculous rate of almost a goal every 2nd game, but this season it has taken him 10 matches to get off the mark, (with a direct free-kick from the edge of the box), for the 82nd goal of his career. Although it seems like something is wrong, (as I would have expected him to be on about 5 goals by now), he has already seen 2 pens saved and also we have had 2 pens taken by other players because they were on a hat-trick. Had he taken, (and scored), each pen, he would be on 5 goals after 10 matches, which is roughly what I would have expected.

Hello, i would also like to participate in this challenge with my young star gk from Concarneau, France He comes from my first youth intake and when i saw his 17 in natural fitness (i hope that high natural fitness is tied with players longevity in the game) and 5 star (4+1) potential i knew i had to try to overcome Ceni's achievements

I started the game according The Big Euro Challenge rules so 15/16 is my first season in charge of Concarneau in freanch 3rd tier.

Toric came in as a potential star in 2016 youth income so he hasn't played a single game that season. Next season i risked a lot and put him between the post from day 1 altough he was only 4 and 1/2 silver stars at the moment most of the season we spent in first 5 places of table and our good oplay earnd us a 7 penalties so Toric started his goalscoring career pretty soon in age of 15. He got good composure for this level of teams and despite penalty taking attribute of 2 he scored 6/7 penalties. In addition he also banged in 3 DFKs despite his very poor FK attribute(7). In the end team managed to win a promotion into league 2.

First season in league 2 was very tough, Toric wasn't cut for that level and we conceeded a lot. But i kep him between the sticks in hope he will get better very fast with that high level of play. Since we spend most of the season under the relegation line we won only 2 penalties in 44 games, at least Toric did his job and scored them both and also added 3 DFKs throughout the season.

For next season i expect the same mizery as was the last one, maybe touch better, and I hope for more penalties for Toric to take He is still only 17 at the start of his 3rd season so if he wont go awol and stay in club i can get some 20 more seasons from him

Oh hang on. You have posted the profile pic for each year, Wow! He's better than I was expecting!

Oh, it has scout reports as part of the profile now too? (I'm still playing FM14 so wouldn't know). The only thing is, (sorry to be a pain), that the 1st profile that you posted, (for 15/16), is actually the 17/18 profile. Would love to see the original one if you still have it. I can see that he has issue with Aerial Ability, but other than that I think he's excellent. I have never really got my head around the benefits of Eccentricity, but I know that others are convinced that they exist and it wouldn't surprise me the way that other similar areas of the game work. All in all I say he looks excellent. Really really good. The only shame is that you didn't stick him straight in during that 1st season.

It doesn't look like you need any advice from me, but if I was to offer you 1 little bit it would be to tutor him away from Determined personality and look for either Model Pro or Resolute, (easier said than done I know).

Anyway, welcome, good luck and I think congrats are in order for pulling a GK like that so early. :applause:

Aerial Ability worries me a bit but i hope it will get better in time

I dont know what exactly Eccentricity does and never worried about it.

I couldnt register him for 1st season beacuse registration was not open until 1st july that year. It's a shame he could have 9 more games under his belt

I can't tutor him anymore because he has "First team" squad status. I had to do it for the sake of new contract

As mentioned above, Lucio has had a very slow start to the 2039/40 season with only 1 goal in the opening 15 games. He has just hit form in spectacular fashion however, as he scored both goals, (a pen and a free-kick), as our 2nd Team beat Olympiakos 2-0 away in the Champions League.

Toric made nice progress this season but teams performances were mediocre at best, which lead to only 4 penalties awarded for the team in 45 games. Toric spent some time training free kicks and he improved from 7 to 8, but he is still very inaccurate with only 21 % of his shots going on target. Anyway he did put 3 DFKs into the net.

This season was team-wise very good as we missed promotion only by one 1 point with overachieving by 14 positions above our media prediction but for Toric the season was not good. He made very little progress and i'm starting to fear he will never be good enough to play in top league. We were lucky to be awarded with 6 penaltie kicks this season and toric did good with missing only single one. Much worse he was on DFKs since he scored not a single one from 89 DKFs taken. He hit woodwork 4 times though.
