In terms of the incomings, it's free transfer city all the way! While Emeka is not as good as the better known E. Eze, he should do some damage in the Dutch league. Dutch/Indonesian footballer Thom Haye will have the unenviable task of replacing Almendra as the primary playmaker of the side. Alongside Haye - Show is called in to help run the show in midfield Bruno Langa should be taking over as our new LWB And finally the Jordanian Messi comes in on loan to provide competition in wide spaces. As a side project, I want to build a truly diverse squad with a bunch of international players from the more "obscure" countries, just for a bit of fun, so it's already nice to have a Jordanian, an Angolan, a Mozambican and a part Indonesian in the dressing room.

Cheers fellas! The summer of 2024 was fairly busy. The headline news being the below transfer, which smashed the club record for ADO. Valencia activated his release clause and there was not much we could do. In any case, we do not want to stand in the way of players when they have moves such as these lined up. Apart from that, it was mainly players that we did not really see a role for in the team moving on, bringing in a total of 8.3m eur to the club.

True... I really should pay more attention to the development of the youngsters. Will try to in this save. As for the corners, my center backs scored 25 between them during my last season at Juve so that was definitely not totally nerfed in the winter update. Anyway, I just signed a new CB with 17 for jumping reach. Let's see if that makes any difference.

No it cannot be that, because this is a new save. What I mean is, the routine was working in my last (and all other saves) till date.

Cheers guys! Btw on another note, my corner tactic has stopped working completely - the near post and far post both. Is anyone else suddenly struggling with corners, or is it just me?

Is anyone else facing this? I am using the exact same routine as I have always done which gets minimum 10-15 goals from the CB who is at the near post. Here it is. Now half a season in and the player has precisely one goal. Not sure where it is going wrong.

The squad statistics, and how we lined up last season. The starting XI was fairly consistent throughout, as we had primarily just the 34 league fixtures to contend with. The 3 players of the season for me - Hilterman our top scorer, Kishna our top creator, and Almendra who has expected was the heart beat of the side. I will be surprised if we can hold onto him as he has a 7m euro release clause.

We had gone quite deep into the red, so this certainly helped a lot: All the revenues have gone up, mainly as a result of being an Eredivisie team I guess.

The annual intake also arrived, but sadly it wasn't a very good one. The AML looks decent and might just make the first team squad. But for now our best prospect definitely remains van der Kaaij.

The first season back in Eredivisie is in the books - here are the remaining fixtures: As you can see, we had a really strong finish to the season, managing to go unbeaten from mid-Feb. In fact, we went into the last day with an outside chance of finishing 5th, which would mean qualification for the UEFA Conference League. Vitesse were 2 points ahead of us, but they had a fairly hard away game at Twente whereas we were at home against a relegated side. And here is how the final league table turned out: So overall, a very successful first season and we will be competing in Europe next year, although we would need to (I think) get past a couple of qualification rounds to make it to the Conference league proper.
