  1. More English opposition awaits with the always dangerous Man City... Bumbercatch has plenty of history with them
  2. A nervy end to the game but it is job done after a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Bridge. That front 3 is really clicking at the right time of the season.
  3. Chelsea at home... we get lucky as star striker Sesko gets injured during the first few minutes of the game. However, we still went a goal down, but then battled back for a deserved 2-1 win. It is all to play for at Stamford Bridge.
  4. And so it proved, with solid wins both home & away. Baldanzi has definitely made that right wing spot his own now. We have a very settled front 3 with him, Vlahovic and Rizzi.
  5. Jan and Feb were decent months, although we went out of one competition and also lost our invincible record in the league, both to the same team. Hello new bogey side. As you can see, we dispatched Wolfsburg in the UEFA Champions League play-off which set up a tie against fellow German opposition Dortmund. However I was quite confident as this BVB side seemed a lot weaker than the one at the start of the save.
  6. Is Ziad el Sheiwi there? He was brilliant in my eintracht save.
  7. Yes it is a good narrative! Ricardo Carvalho and Jose Mourinho is the first pair that springs to mind - porto, Chelsea and madrid. I'm sure there's more.
  8. I like the tactic, btw how did Apaza get on finally?
  9. Congratulations! Will be amazing if you can go invincible
  10. Also a big piece of transfer news in January, and a complete luxury signing, as Moe's favourite blue eyed boy finally makes the switch from Brighton to Turin He has developed into a world class midfielder, so while Juventus did not quite "need" him, he will still certainly add some extra quality to the side. Also in anticipation of this move, Moe started using Baldanzi almost exclusively as an inverted winger off the right hand side and he's actually been a revelation there. So it may actually work out really well for the team.
  11. Meanwhile, we have to consider ourselves unlucky to not make it to the Champions League knock-outs directly, which means we will now have to go via the play-offs
  12. November and December were solid months, after which we should comfortably have been top of the table. But this is not the case, as Napoli are really having a fantastic season themselves.
  13. 5-0 vs Milan and 8-2 vs Dortmund is pretty insane! Bad luck in the final...
  14. Nice back story. I've managed Rapid Wien earlier and had a great time so this should be fun especially with the Salzburg "giants" in the league.
  15. I think you will do it, ASSE don't seem to have enough goals in them.
  16. Funny thing i discovered when managing Juventus - who SI now have full rights for - their B team is still called Zebre U23
  17. Lol - pure laziness on my part to not update the real names... There was another great young Italian striker at Atalanta but we chose not to sign him and he's moved to Newcastle
  18. Great first season, congratulations on the league title
