Sadly there are still hardly any newgens with a second nationality in Belgium. I've posted this a month ago in the forum where they told me to post it, but not even an answer. Bit sad that people who follow the rules (posting in the right folder) don't even get an answer.

didn't know this was an issue ?

This is from @Cheez3y , he played with Virton youth only.

Seems to me a lot of other nationalities in 5 seasons ?

  2. My Gibraltar save ended after a really nasty registration bug (for all the other teams , not for me). Thinking about (posted this team name ten times already this edition) starting with Croatia Berlin. Not eligble for this challenge (i'll start from season 1 with them in the 6th german tier).

This is my new youth facts screen:

No. Didn't see this, but then again I didn't spend much time looking at opposition squads early on.

I would report this as a bug.

Reported . it was a bug in the updated database. he fixed it and I'm  going to restart again. won't win that easily now against Lincoln.

Edit : at the moment it is not fixed for me so i'm waiting or going to start at a very nice club in a very low tier .. a team with foreign newgens from a nice country . Croatia Berlin ! not sure yet .

  4. I sended u PM's that other teams don't seem to register their best players (we supposed it had to do with brexit rules but even if their is no brexit, they don't register the players). Sended u the information . i hope u can find this because i prefer your update (and i'll restart if the registration thing is fixed).

I've made a view in game that shows all attributes in the order I want. Then I press the FM-button->Print Screen (the button in the menu) and save it as a web page. Then I open the web page in Chrome and copy all the values into Google Sheets. Takes about 1 minute. (A few more to create the view in FM and the sheet itself!)

I made little of this message until, after five gameweeks, I saw that the other teams had a lot of unregistered players.
Apparently they are not allowed to use their NOT gibralatar born players anymore or barely.
Luckily, I have a first centre with almost only players from Scotland or Gibraltar... so I'm going to continue for the time being... very strange.

So not sure if i can continue.. should i benifit from this ? knowing that all the good big squads will fail this season ?

Potential restart after dealing with registration bug at other teams (whether or not after brexit). This way the other teams couldn't play with their best 10/20 players and we could. If a fix comes up I restart.

I was confused as hell because at 1 point I thought there had been a hard Brexit as all the Spanish players needed a WP and didn't have one, (but English players didn't), and I thought I was going to have to release them but after them not playing for a bit I chanced by arm on applying for a WP and it was agreed so I just got all 4 of them agreed. They didn't last long though.

The squad number selection is a right pain in the bum.

I had the hard brexit all the other teams don't us their foreign players :( a bug or should i go on and use my almost Gibraltor homegrown squad ?

    Just... how this happened??

I remember De los Santos from last versions of fm,he is a great player for Gibraltar.

Yes he is our main star but he is the only one that i can't extend at the moment. The other key players signed a new contract + one year option.

I'll have the best squad in our first season, if De Los Santos leave we'll have to wait many years before someone with his qualities pop up.

Yes, I've had it for a while where in some games one or two of my players will play in an away shirt (but home shorts) whilst the rest of the team is wearing the normal home kit.

When I first saw it and wasn't sure what was going on it looked like one of the other team had run 40 yards trying to score an O.G

I have the same issue , last Fm's i had the same. i think it has to do with different kit packs mixed ?

The combination of youth only and building a small nation seemed to me a worthwhile attempt. So I will only use players from my own youth academy. There is a chance that I will be allowed to buy back players(newgens) from my own youth academy at a later date ... but I will decide on that after a while. This is my third attempt to start a topic. Third time , good time...

    Why Gibraltar and Manchester 62

    bdba89915e1875e508b4ee6b43410b5e.png

At U21/23 Gibraltar, Manchester 62 is the national supplier. The current number seven Premier Division, the highest league in the peninsula, is represented by six players in the twenty-piece selection. They seem to have the highest youth importance (17) and second highest youth recruitment (15) & Youth Coaching (10).

I like the fact that this is an unknown league, nice story with the rock of Gibraltar, the link with England & Spain, building a small nation and link with Manchester United .

All credits to @Jimbokav1971 for his great topic (conquering the world with Lincoln) en and all the commitment from @cel1234, to update the database (in the original database there is a Prize Money bug, teams get 260K, not only the champion of group 1 , also the winner of group 2, the relegation group. In real life they only get 20k for the first place. I'm using the right datbase so this will be much harder. Also Boca are no longer involved in Gibraltar national league. He made the Intermediate (2th tier with u23 teams) available from the start.

    History Gibraltar Football

Our stadium located next to the airport.

Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory located on the South of the Iberian Peninsula, is rarely spoken about in the footballing world. With a population of 34,000 contained within 6.7km2, you might not have expected the Rock to have a formal competitive football league.

But with the qualifying stages of the Champions League and Europa League becoming home to many Gibraltarian clubs, and also with plenty of exciting young players representing Gibraltar, it might time we paid more attention to football in Gibraltar.

The Gibraltar Football Association (GFA) was started in 1895 as football began to popularise across the globe during the 19th Century. In 1907, the GFA started the Gibraltar Football League, with the only competition existing before that being the Merchant’s Cup. The league began with eight teams, later expanding to two divisions.

Gibraltarian football can provide some of the most exciting football in the lower leagues of Europe, and it’s important to highlight why fans find football exciting in the first place.Whether you know any professional or semi-professional footballers, sometimes it’s hard to separate the player and the person. As we are spectators to players, it’s good to remind us that some players are just as human as we are.

This is what the football in Gibraltar shows, in particular in their journeys through European qualifying. Players among a population of around 34,000 are trying to shine, and sometimes succeeding. It’s what is most exciting and reminds us of why we all started enjoying football in the first place.

    Format & Competitions

There are currently three domestic senior men’s tournaments in Gibraltar. Since being reformed at the start of the 2019/20 season, there has only been one senior tier in Gibraltar, known as The Gibraltar National League.

Although the reforming of the league came at the unfortunate expense of dissolving a number of clubs, it now makes sense that all football Gibraltar is united in one league. 11 teams competed in the 2020/21 season, with each team facing each other once before the league splitting in half.

    Spoiler

The top half, the Championship Group, compete for the title and a place in the qualifying stages of the Champions League or Europa League, with each of them playing each other twice. The bottom half, the Challenge Group, compete for the Challenge trophy which gives them a bye into the next round of the Rock Cup.

The Rock Cup is Gibraltar’s domestic cup, similar to many other association cup knock-out competitions but with only four rounds.

The final tournament is the Pepe Reyes Cup, contested between the winner of the National League and the Rock Cup.

Gibraltar also run a league for the reserve teams (Intermediate league) of all the sides in the National League. There is also a Women’s league and cup, from which teams can qualify for the Women’s Champions League.

Victoria Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Gibraltar. It is currently used mostly for football matches, but also hosts the annual Gibraltar Music Festival. It is located close to Gibraltar Airport just off Winston Churchill Avenue. It was named after the wife of Gibraltarian philanthropist John Mackintosh.

Despite initial plans to replace the stadium in the 2010s, the Gibraltar Football Association purchased the stadium from the Government of Gibraltar in April 2017 in order to improve and renovate it. The plans to build a new stadium are still ongoing.

    Spoiler

In April 2017, the Gibraltar Football Association announced its purchase of the stadium in order to redevelop it into a UEFA Category 4 stadium at a cost of £16.5 million given to the GFA by UEFA and FIFA. The proposed new stadium sites at Lathbury and Europa Point would be developed into multi-sports facilities by the Government of Gibraltar. The GFA announced it would invest £15 million into the stadium after purchasing it owing to grants from UEFA and FIFA. As a result of the GFA's purchase of Victoria Stadium, UEFA dropped their objections to the stadium providing works to expand the stadium to 8,000 capacity were complete by 2018 then they would be permitted to use the stadium for their home games in UEFA sanctioned international competition matches. This upgrade is not included in the game.

The club was founded as Manchester United F.C. in 1962, named in honour of the English club Manchester United by a group of supporters, after the manager Matt Busby gave them permission to use the name. They play in the Gibraltar Football League's First Division. United play their home games in the Victoria Stadium. In 2013, UEFA gave the Gibraltar Football League one place each in the qualifying rounds of both the Europa League and the Champions League, meaning that, for the first time, the two clubs could potentially meet in the same competition.
