No they are not. They always done things the way they wanted, that makes financial and time management sens to them. Some users, are the one in awkward position. You want to be critical of stuff you don't agree with and at the same time you want to support financial SI in their jobs so that they can make future editions. It is said, time and time again they listen to the community for feedback. However only if it fits their vision to the game, which is endless obsession SI has to replicating a real life job of football manager. I don't agree with this at all, has I have said many times. there should be balamnce between replicating real life and being a computer game. FM Classic was that. To bad touch SI always branded Indirectly as an easy mode to FM or waste of their time. I really like to see when will be the breaking point the entire community says to SI, well that is too much real life for us. For me it was the inclusion of boring Press Conferences... I mean, I, in real life, fail to see the point of those.

I think, personally, that is half true. Touch wasn't profitable, because it came a time (past 5 or so years), SI didn't have any interest in it. The last year's cancellation of Touch, wasn't really a shock. The writing is on the wall. This year's late release of features and what not... almost 4 days before release, makes all too weary about any sort future to Touch (haven't seen the recent screenshots, because why would I look at screenshots, when I have the bloody thing). And if they cancelled, this time there is no way to keep the game due to Arcade limited time depends on licensing SI has. What shock me last year was the lack of respect for who play Touch, specially how Miles announcement was too corporate and not posting it himself. Again, I said this, if they only announced FMT23 it will only have Match Engine, Graphics Engine and roster team updates, about at the least 10 days before, I would be okay with this. Releasing 4 days, not so much.

But licensing is different between two games. It has been said here one more occasion, that FM is granted a year of licensing, meaning with each new iteration is release, the old one isn't sold. Don't go any further. FM 22 on Gamepass, was taken down on November 7th and new FM 23 Console was available the next day (on its release day). I see that FMT 23 will suffer the same fate when FMT24 is going to be release (if SI does do this version again.

Oh, there is potential negative side for the game to be arcade. It is likely, not 100% sure, that in a year we all loose access to FMT23, independently if there is FMT 24 in Apple Arcade or not. I say this, because, SI sells FM in yearly licensing basis.

So it expected that Touch on Apple Arcade, will suffer the same fate when FMT24?

If there is enough people requesting it, they will bring it in. Until then its unavailable, because for SI is not worth it to do that stuff. Mix of, vision (not sure what vision since they cancelled touch last year) or not wanting to spend time and money. Been requesting an Editor for Touch for almost a decade and I and others we were ignored.

One doesn't have Apple Arcade to play exclusively Football Manager. its to play other games as well. But if it is only way to play touch, then it will be expensive endeavor, sure.

My beef is with your bosses. its their policy, is where we are today, in the current situation we are now. But, why would I want more information for product that we we already have? To make me feel better for product that I own*, when I play the game? *technically we don't own squat in Apple Arcade or any streaming service content. And what specifically content are you intending to release, since your bosses and their teams, have no contact with us? Your FMFC is a death site. In all of 12 months of a year, 11 it remains dead, nothing is posted there. Your youtube, an amateur youtuber posts more video in a year then SI does. The only thing that remains somewhat active all year round is social media... But all of this is due to this annoying Zero policy SI has. Zero sharing stuff or information with the users policy. Also your bosses never did nothing to promote the Touch all these years, with exception of first 2 or 3 years of its existence, due to excitment (who here remembers an exclusive feature announcements video for FM Touch?). Your bosses never said nothing to counter argument the branding the majority of the community gave to touch, as an easy mode or game mode for newbs or amateurs. Its like they wanted this game mode to fail, i noticed that in the last 4 or 5 years ago. Some of your colleagues, Desmond, absolutely hate this game mode, they think is waste of time. How do I know that, easily the writing is in the wall with late information sharing coming nearly release and not defending their product. They had no issues, none whatsoever, during these years, saying the exact same thing, you said, for what? For we to experience the roller coaster feelings for cancelling a game mode that we liked, that the head of Sports Interactive didn't dignified himself to post himself in these very forums, because he was too busy. Ironic isn't it? The head of SI, doesn't have the time to waste 2 minutes to simply copy paste his text in these forums, where he took 30 minutes or an hour to write... I sometimes wonder if he wrote the thing... So sorry, Desmond if this causes any sort of stress to you, but in regards, of FM Touch/classic, I don't really buy the commitment you wrote in your post. To be fair still wondering if FM Touch is worth it, simply because, don't really want to go through the roller coaster of emotions I went through last year. I not sure If I'm prepared from year from now, loosing access to FM Touch 23. I find unlikely that year from now FM Touch 23 is going beyond FM Touch 24 or Touch cancelled altogether. I'm still wondering if buying FM23 was mistake and I simply threw money out the window. Curious isn't it. here ambling about regretting buying FM23, when I would spend 50 or 60 euros yearly on FM Touch/classic 23, if they simply announced weeks ago, on FM Touch 23 it will include Match Engine and Graphics and editor improvements of Full FM, with squads updates for 2022/2023 season. :P It won't... at least from my knowledge. FM Touch this year is exclusively to Apple Arcade and Switch. The future... well who knows. Your more likely to win the Euro Millions, then guessing what are SI plans for Touch/Classic in the future.

Like it was said. FM Touch/Classic never had an editor. Been requesting one for nearly 10 years (didn't requested one last year, since SI cancelled FM Touch), it was always ignored by SI devs. Unfortunately, its more likely for the Touch/Classic to be cancelled again then to have FM Touch Editor. Or FM Touch Editor will have an Editor when Hell freezes over. Whomever comes first.

At this point don't really care, about any more announcements. They can announce a freaking Editor for this mode, I simply don't care. Nothing was posted here, just on the FMFC site, who... I simply forget that it actually exists. Don't know why SI keeps insisting in funneling these announcements, through a death site, that provides nothing more just a justification to play a multiplayer mode. When they have perfectly good home here. But what truly shocks me, yet again, the announcements for touch, were hidden... no link to these forums at all... Was it released on Twitter that they made Arcade/Touch announcements? I don't get it... at all! To be fair, I'm sick and tired what do SI want from this game mode. If by what Miles (it was posted here by Neil, because for some reason Miles didn't) said last year, if you want to drop it this mode, drop it already. And be done with it already. Stop doing stuff like this announcing things quietly 4 days before release to FM Classic fans. It ain't right.

This is a delay of the game on PS5, not cancelled. The only bit of criticism, is the no telling sort of ambience there is between SI and us users, that they don't disclosure absolutely nothing to us. Just the usual unforeseen problems rhetoric or its not worth it financially to do stuff. Since they don't give us a new timeline, my bet, is we only see this version later in December or just next year.

For me playable is hitting continue and the game process everything fine without an error or bug. Yours and BuryBlade bugs depends on each user patience to pass that annoynce of the game. @Neil Brock maybe you can to our rescue, once again.

I'm not under any illusion that SI is going to drastically changed the graphics of the match in FM24 (forget about FM23 too late for that), because majority of users complained in this thread in world wide web (despite I don't see us that making these complains to be the majority). I understand things do take time and we are yet too see what Miles implied in Headline feature video about hiring more people to studio. If they announced major changes to graphics in FM24, is because it was something that was already in the pipeline. But since SI has 0 policy of sharing with us anything what is in development (independently if you aree with that or not), there is no way of knowing.

Not sure what exactly entails in terms of mods, but I seem mods doing some different design stuff in City Skylines. The rest I agree with you.

We are simply discussing what was announced and the way the game is heading. I respect you, i don't think this kind of joke wasn't really needed... Agreed. Again, these comments were related what was announced by SI. I understand, that its their philosophy of the game to be the most realistic simulator ever, but if you really, really push it too further it will be the most boring game ever. This is a computer game, it needs to have level of fun and gamezation, since all of us play this for fun and in our free time. Agaian, I will repeat myself, over, over, and over again. We don't... the thing is the updates or headline features this year are way underwhelming. I also, will say it will be a good game, since this one is based on FM22 with some minor upgrades. Not sure that the money they are asking is worth it. The facegen, I'm sorry, they are laughably bad. I also want to leave you guys with one question. Why can't we have sort of visual feature like build your stadium, like other iphone and ipad football manager type apps out there? Things like this, would be awesome.
