  1. After update, seems better. For example: ==== My Recruitment Focuses are simple. Scouting by age group and have one as "General" (All). For example: Age: 15-15 CA: 1* Star PA: 3* Stars Any Tactic, Any Position Ongoing Any Area Specific Scouter / Specific Analyst And so on, 16-16, 17-17, 18-18 y/o etc. The "General" (All) one is: Age: 15-50 CA: 1* Star PA: 3* Stars Any Tactic, Any Position Ongoing Any Area Specific Scouter / Specific Analyst My database setup is: All nations, leagues, players are loaded. Scouting Budget: World I have tried in lower leagues and was worked there as well. Ongoing takes much more time to start and produce results, but I have setup once and I don't touch it; unless new scouter has been come or I am changing a club. ==== Also my Filters Setup:
  2. Estrela de Amadora CAD had one in my save. Not sure if they have Chinese board IRL to be honest.
  3. I would like more simplified UX. It's more about removing, rather than adding extra. SCOUTING 1. Scouting Opp. Reports + Staff Responsibilities + Scouting Coverage / Match & Team Analysis Those complex UX should need to be simplified for sure. Now you can choose via: Staff > Responsibilities > Scouting > Scouting Opp. Reports And via Scouting > Scouting Coverage > Match & Team Analysis Those two things, it's the same. It can be only one option. If you mix with different person, interesting things happen; and especially for newcomers looks very complex (and agree with them). ==== 2. Staff + Responsibilities + Scouting + Scouting Center + Recruitment Actions Those ones, are way too complex and unnecessary to be like this. Staff > Responsibilities > Scouting > When you scout a player, watch him: [drop down menu] And via Preferences icon in Scouting > Scouting Center > Preferences Icon > Recruitment Actions Those can be merged in one place. Either in Scouting or in Staff Responsibilities. ==== TRAINING 1. Create a Training Schedule Extra steps creates problems and it is complex. For now, in order to create a training schedule you have to do: Training > Schedules > Create a New Schedule > Choose Your Schedules > Confirm > Save As > Save Here the important thing: If you don't click Save as a very last step, every time you reload the savegame, your training will not appear. This, can simplified by: Training > Schedules > Create a New Schedule > Choose the schedules > Save (or Export). The very case scenario is when you Load training schedules. ==== Scouting and Training is some examples what steps to remove and it can be more simplified. I am expecting a new UI interface for FM25 of course (?). Simplicity in UX is key point to any game, any app, any software based system. ==== Regarding adding: TACTICAL - Pressing Traps in Different Zones - The ability to say in your team in which part of the field they need to press more or less. For example, Press More Often in Zone 10, 13, 11 and Press Less Often in 12, 15 since there is no danger from there (as an example).
  4. Finally, Youth Academy start to produce something after many years of increasing & developing club factors.
  5. Max did an experiment regarding this, @whatsupdoc @rasmuszimmer Also, Busthenet has a video about it to watch.
  6. Hello, This is the table of attributes weighting for background staff in Football Manager 2024. Data comes from official Pre-Game Editor. New to FM24 is the Set Piece Coach. Happy Gaming!
  7. If the request is not there, that means low youth importance despite the "board culture". Seems not normal, but that's how it works (for now).
  8. Low youth importance from the board. Also from manual: Working with Youngsters This reflects how successful a coach is at working with younger players – those aged 19 and under in particular. A non-player with a high rating here will improve the players they work with if given a youth team training assignment, while the quality of an annual youth intake is affected by the rating of the person responsible for bringing them through. It is also used to determine an individual’s interest in young footballers overall, such as the Chairperson when asking the Board for improved youth facilities.
  9. End March - early April. Will be database update, no Match Engine.
  10. This one does not take account only one match. But I can understand that seems off, from the other hand does not impact something (at least key things).
  11. You can try the demo and decide. https://www.footballmanager.com/demo
  12. Thank you for the correction. Didn't know it. Maybe this one need correction in database as well?
  13. For next versions of the game, I would like to see some more logical behaviour regarding traveling - availability of training. For example, pre-season and I am playing a friendly in Australia with a Greek team. ==== The flight time is around 20+ hours from Greece to Australia, so it doesn't make sense to have training in the day with travel as well as at the returning as well.
  14. Championship. Premier League becomes easy with all that money.
  15. Match Engine is the same for AI vs AI, AI vs human and human vs human, no matter if it's online or not.
  16. Can someone put this thread in Hall of Fame, please?
  17. IMHO, delegating transfers (in & out) to any background staff it is terrible bad idea, but I can understand why someone wants to play the game in this way. That's why I mentioned UX (and not UI as @Kickballz said). I hope FM25 will see a different playgame for this one!
  18. Loan Manager and loans in general is a complex one, and you need to setup correctly to work. That is because the UX is not friendly and need a whole revamp IMHO. 1st Step: 2nd Step: 3rd Step (this is tricky one): 4th Step: - You have to place someone in Development List in order DoF & Loan Manager to offer players in Loan. If and offer come and meet the minimum specifications of the 2nd step settings, then will be accepted. Otherwise, will be rejected. The 3rd step is the risky one, because the DoF (or any background staff) will try to sell or terminate contracts by itself; and not only Loan.
  19. From the manual: How can I improve my players’ attributes and ability? A player’s development is an inexact science but there are plenty of ways you can improve your chances of helping their progress: - Improved coaching staff The better the coach, the more impactful their attributes are on improving a player. In general, the better the coaching attribute, the more effective it is on the player’s attribute development. - Improved training facilities The standard of training facilities has an impact on determining the chances of a player’s attributes developing, how close to their potential they can get, and how likely they are to continue developing overall. Better facilities encourage a greater chance of a player realising their true potential.. It can also have the knock-on effect of helping the coaching staff develop, too. - Playing time A player with greater exposure to meaningful playing time will develop better than someone who isn’t playing quite as often. Playing first-team minutes is more valuable than playing reserve or youth team football, and a young player who stagnates from their teenage years into their 20s without starting to play regular football stands a higher chance of not being able to reach their potential. - Training A player develops most through day-to-day training; their overall development is affected by the quality of the facilities and coaches, the teammates they are training with, the appropriateness of the schedules given, whether they train with the first team or any of the club’s sub-teams, and whether they are tasked with additional individual work outside of the team’s sessions. The more of these that are met to as high a standard as possible, the quicker a player develops towards full potential. - Mentoring Young players can develop by working closely, during training, with a more experienced teammate or teammates within their squad. Their mental attributes and Player Traits are the only areas affected, and the entire concept is detailed more in the Training section of the manual. ==== Players with high Professionalism, Ambition and Determination have higher chance to reach PA.
