  1. I agree to some extent, It's very easy to manipulate the transfer market with certain add-ons or installments or even go as far as bankrupting your club and wait for the board to inject some cash and do it over again. But some of the stuff is very realistic, especially about add-ons. I remember how Atlético Madrid tried to maneuver around some add-on to pay less to Barcelona for Antoine Griezmann and Barcelona tried to do the same with Coutinho so they would not have to pay 20 mil to Liverpool. I just ignore all that and buy all my players straight up with cash upfront, no add-ons, no installments. The only "crutch" I use from time to time to manipulate my budget is loan with an optional or mandatory buy fee despite it being a very common practice IRL I use it rarely.
  2. Why do you have to ask? If you are having fun with the game go for it.
  3. International Management in FM is rubbish because most players don't care about it
  4. I pray everyday SI experience the same in their own company with their employees. I hope every day in their offices, some mediocre employee demands a new contract just 3 months after signing a new one and the whole office rages because he is not getting it. That actually might explain why many issues like this one never gets fixed, because everybody is mad and morale and productivity is low.
  5. I dot it too, it helps build morale and relationship with your players. I also wish there was some kind of "mass praise" or "mass criticism" on training feedback, it takes loads of time and clicks.
  6. That's true, you can put a plastic cone between the sticks and it's the same basically
  7. Gegenpress is indeed OP, but beyond it, EVERY team in the game can use it, no matter what players they have, and pull it off like it's nothing. It's a known issue but it seems SI just don't care and why would they? Addicted suckers like me will still buy the game even if it's broken.
  8. I am in my 4th season(January 18th) with Manchester United and the injuries are crazy since the new patch dropped. I had 63 injuries this season(counting all the minor injuries for a day or 2), despite having a very large squad with regular rotation(I got 2-3 players for every position). Last season I had less than 70 all season long. I want the game to be more challenging but this is not the way to go SI.
  9. High pressing is not an automatic win card, look at Manchester United.
  10. Thats just peachy...I have to spend extra money to cheat because certain aspect of the game is so broken it makes it unusable.
  11. I think I am done with FM after 20 years straight of buying the game(since CM03/04). Every year someone opens the annual "FM is too easy" thread(I did it for the last 2 versions) and nothing ever is fixed. They promised to fix the transfer AI, but they made it worse and easier to crush your rivals in the market, it feels like a grown man boxing with a 10-year-old child, the same with player interactions. Every conversation feels like I am talking with my 3-year-old nephew that can't hear the word no and starts crying and throwing stuff, its easier to just sell such a player and replace him then to try and "fix" the situation.
  12. The Dutch league with one of the smaller teams is fun. Taking the league from the rich teams like Ajax is kind of a challenge.
  13. I hope SI suffer from workers mutiny in their company too, what they did in FM24 is unforgivable.
  14. Just noticed, the search function in the players list doesnt work, I filter by transfer listed and position(natural in X position) and I get players that got nothing to do with the position I filter with.
  15. Yes, not because the game is buggy but because everything SI promised to fix(like the rubbish AI in the transfer market), they didnt.
  16. The crazy high wages are not the problem, they actually reflect reality very well, it's the crazy high transfer fees for me.
  17. He is not my player, I am getting notifications about him because he is in my shortlist and as far as I remember he was listed for transfer.
  18. SI: "We are going to make AI transfers better!" Also SI: The list just goes on.... And as the hour grows late, their offers are getting smaller and smaller, Great transfer strategy!
  19. Thats definitely sounds like Manchester United. They are paying crazy interest on their debts, got one of the highest wage budgets in the league and got loads of staff members. According to the game, Manchester United spends about 10 mil pounds per month on loan payments.
