  1. @brickyt Do you have other files loaded that change England too? If so, you have to untick them so that only the level 10 db file is selected.

  5. Perhaps the realism mod does a bit what you want to do with the db. The creator made a lot of changes to regions and languages. Perhaps not as much as you like, but it is a start

  8. @lionel messi Another question, if that is OK with you. I saw that a lower league Scottish db has a problem with clubs not getting a bigger stadium, even if they reach the Prem. Is that specifically for that mod, or do more lower league db's have such troubles? Sorry if that is too general a question that has nothing to do with your database In your topic I read something about teams moving to Circenester or Manchester when growing out of their stadium. Won't they move back then?

  10. Thanks, I thought it was something like that. My laptop is from 2017. It can run 9 or 10 nations at the same time, with 20-30 divisions playable and 60k-100k players. Though the game tells me that is only 1,5 stars, the save runs smooth and I can complete a season in 24-48 hours. If I test the level 14 db on holiday it is like 4 months in 4 hours. With real gaming it is unplable and freezes. Gonna try your db then! That is latest patch compatible, yes?
  11. @lionel messi Quick question: is every lower league database very slow, or are there fast ones too? I downloaded another one that goes to level 14, but is is unplayable due to the lack of speed. Or can I do something to speed it up? How fast is yours?
  12. I have a gameplay question about editing. I would really like to do a small team to glory savegame where I start in the basement of the football pyramid and try to work my way up to the top division in a nation. I have found leagues from Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Scotland and England where I can do this. I tried the England one. Even in holiday mode it is very very slow, though the star rating says full 5 stars when I set my game up. Is there something I can do to speed up a lower league savegame to get accaptable speeds, or is each and every lower league database doomed to be very slow? In comparison: I can load 9 0r 10 nations at the same time, with in total 15-30 leagues and 70-100k players and still have a very good savegame. When I load the English level 14 database, it is like watching turtles run backwards 😅
  13. Lots of people create new nations, new clubs and new players and release imagepacks with them, The only way such a image pack is viable, is when the game uses those exact numbers. I think however, that the editor choses those numbers random every time you create a new entry and that two editor files can use the same numbers. So that could clash potentially when created club ABC in editor file 1 and created club XYZ in editor file 2 have the same ID. As far as I know the game solves this by assigning a new unused random ID to one of those clubs. (The one that is loaded first keeps its number, the one that is loaded second receives a new number) That is why some people give there editor file a name starting with 00 or 01, etc to have it loaded early on when the game is created. so that the ID's be the same as the creater intended and the images and other things work correctly. I am not entirely sure about this, but I think this is the way it works.
  14. I thought Oriental Dragon in Portugal creates extra Chinese players. If I look at them they have lots of players (grey and normal) that are Chinese. Gondomar SC (also Portugal) has a lot of Chinese players too. With both clubs, those foreign players seems to have their origins at the club.
  15. @Timo61 I read about another D10 update where some lower league clubs can't get a bigger stadium even if they are promoted to the Scottisch Premier League. Is your update not having this problem?

  18. @samba23 When I try to download it, the download information box of my browser (Google Chrome) is triggered, but no download is starting. Happens when chosing the fmf and the zip version. Edit: it worked using Microsoft Edge.
  19. I can understand that you have to hard-code some things, and that for SI the normal game / database counts the most, but editor files are the core of this game too. There should/could be more balance between those two.
  20. So, unless you want to keep the MLS intact and Concacaf Cups intact with all the quirky rules and drafts and hard-coding; wouldn't it be easier to delete absolutely everything and start from scratch?

  22. Just started a save yesterday. Your files are loaded in the gamesetup, but not yet as active leagues. Was planning to load them afterwards, when the first part of my journey is finished in Europe. Is the updated planning of the matchdays the only thing that is new?
