Players from lower-level reputation leagues want to play in a league with a higher reputation if given the opportunity. The top leagues in the world are full of promising younger players who jump at the chance to go to a bigger club and a very large % of them don't make it, but that doesn't stop them from wanting to try. It also doesn't make the game unplayable

What OS are you running?

Go to the NVidia control panel, Manage 3Dsettings, Programme settings and then start by setting the GTX 1050 as the default for Valve/FM. If the problem persists, reset the default to the UHD card and see what happens.

Since you have 2 cards, which one is set as default for the game? Try the other one a see if the fault still happens.

I keep the day and month but take 30/40 years off depending on how I feel.

As long as you are having success on the pitch, the impact is minimal but frustrating.

Sounds like either a graphics card driver needing to be updated, or an overheating issue and the machine is shutting down to stop any further damage.

It is hard to believe that your sacking would be all about this one promise without there being other factors before this. Without an editor, the only way would be to go back to a save well before the board message and try to rectify the situation

This module is and always has been flawed IMO. Go unbeaten in a season and they will complain about your only draw. Make hundreds of millions in the transfer market and they will complain about the sale of a youth player for 50k. In a 2-leg tie, they will complain about the first-leg result even when you win the tie after the second leg. In FM 22, I had a one-off season where the first team won a unique 5 trophies (every competition that they were in) and my season-end rating was only a B because they were devastated ( their wording ) that I had not met their target of developing the best youth system in the world ( despite 12 of my first team squad being home- grown at the club!)

As I said before, there will be no replies because nobody will be sure of the answer, This is a community forum and neither SI nor any other users are required to provide an answer. The impact of what you are asking will be minimal or zero in my view so it would be best just to move on.

There is no definitive answer that is why- it will be left to your own interpretation. My view is that Team-mate is a player who plays in the same club, with whom you have no great relationship off the field. A friend is a player with whom you have a stronger, perhaps social relationship off the field. I doubt that there is any impact or effect in the match engine.

I wasn't talking about specifics only in general. If this is the case, I assume that someone will have raised it in the relevant Bugs forum for SI to check it.

There will be no more FM 23 updates.

Any rule changes for competitions that are fully confirmed will usually be added at the next major data update after confirmation.

To stop complacency, I would always demand a win against a team we are expected to beat convincingly.

This idea has been put forward before but the answer has always been that most of the above elements are outside the responsibilities of normal football managers are so are not part of the current game's vision.

The day before the match, go to the under-20s, Tactics and set up the players and positions and even if you don't control the team, that team should start as you selected.

I don't know what the graphics quality of your machine is, but try reducing the crowd quality. I also recall that in some instances, the game will disable crowds if it thinks that the hardware is not good enough to support the graphics settings. Make sure also that the graphics driver is fully updated.

Remember always that it is just a game and frustrations are part of the process.
