Really? How many wouldn't buy the game if their wasn't a community adding leagues, skins, and badges? One of the first thing I do is subscribe on steam to the real name fix and a few low league without them I'd hate playing the Brazilian, Spanish or Chinese leagues. It's another reason I wait till March if I buy as there isn't enough at release. I bet if there was someone who could closely replicate stadiums it'd improve the game experience. And remember SI doesn't pay anyone to be an editor on steam it's all free, a lot of the game has been built by it's players doing the developers job, researchers, those sending bug reports and finding mistakes with leagues and other things. It almost as if it's volunteer run.

Exactly! why pay anyone to work on improving the game when you'll get a load of editors doing it for free. Its like the YTS scheme in the 1990's, why pay a labourer £200 pw when you can get a 16 year old kid doing it for £30 under a ''government scheme''.

They add leagues every other edition, it's just a list and a few more teams you can play as, the problem SI have is they don't bother with the little leagues once they are added, look at Northern Ireland in FM22 they didn't bother rectifying the error they made with league fixtures being played everyday towards the end and that league is in a country with plenty of people who play FM. There are plenty of leagues that without subscribers on Steam that would just be initials and clubs with bizarre names, what was the big noise on getting the pictures of UEFA tournaments when the clubs playing in it were still called the game still looks exactly the same and you could download the correct ones anyway.. Its as if SI do what they can then leave the rest to those who'll finish it off for free on steam. The bugs are left to those who buy in November to find, so you only get a finished product in March.

What's the point? The Women players and their matches will look exactly the same as the men's, just like now a match between PSG and Man City looks exactly the same as Afan Lido V Swansea University all it will be is an added league. FM 24 needs to be not just a database update but look new. I have loaded FM22 by accident and hadn't realised it wasn't FM23 for over two hours of playing it that it was a different game.

Blow the lot on one player

Why can't they keep the fixes from the last edition? The new releases are barely more than a database update anyway, but just tend to add more issues, the bigger the game gets the more issues. Cant the developers set an edition for the future where they say by FM 2026 there'll be a massive overhaul of everything including graphics and start working on that edition, and the versions in-between just be updates(which they practically are) of players, squads etc. The same daft scenarios get played out each version, look at ground improvements, we still get the same clubs rebuilding each edition like Middlesborough and Bolton Wanderers or Watford sharing with Bournemouth or vice versa yet it's not happened IRL since the 1990's. Grounds all looking the same at low levels regardless of their actual capacities most are fields with a stand in yet the game depicts them with huge terracing and stands that wouldn't be out of place in the championship. You cannot tell from watching a game how good a player is other than looking at the stats and attributes, Messi looks the same as an amateur at Caersws.

Surely it's being released too early as it's not even a finished product until the following March. It gets released in November and spends another 5 months getting fixed and if anything is missed by then thats it. At full price at release wouldn't it be nice to have a finished product, rather than get it on discount the following summer after all/most of the fixes have been added?

Why are they so unrealistic for European away trips, or any away games involving a small club playing a much bigger club in their biggest game in history ? Swansea University FC qualify for the Europa Conference League through winning the Welsh Cup, drawing two small league clubs and take 17 away, those two also bring 17 to SUFC'S games held at Swansea City's stadium, next round they draw Lazio and 3 turn up at the Stadio Olimpico, 1,600 Lazio fans head to Swansea out of a total attendance of 6,500. Are the fans that peed off with travelling to the daft relocation of clubs far outside their home town that they can't be arsed travelling anymore? Stadiums and attendances have little bearing on reality in FM and never have, why?

As Manager of a Cymru South club you can set your scouts to scout the Welsh EPL clubs for potential loan signings etc, even if you select the U21's the scouts decide to waste everyone's time in telling you that Swansea City fringe first team player ''has no interest'', well I don't need you to tell me that, so just scout the possibility of the fringe U21's and U18's that may have some. They've blown the scouting budget to discover the bleeding obvious.

Not one of my allocated staff from ass man to technical direct or even the loan manager has ever loaned out a player when it's their responsibility. Other than train and hire other lazy gits what do they do?

Juve IRL almost surpassed FM with there new stadium, looks like AC and Inter will soon too.

Is FM still daft in stadium building? New stadiums for clubs that only built one 25 years ago, clubs building new grounds but move fifty miles away instead of staying at the old stadium during construction, names that have minimal connection, huge construction projects of single use stadiums when hosting a tournament even when the cities already have at least two perfectly adequate ones and seats being changed to match the home teams shirt colour even when they are in the away kit.

Just tried out Rugby Union manager, where all training can be allocated to a staff member, with a head coach organising the training schedule. and then each specialist concentrates on their task.

What difference do stats make on what they hire? Whoever is in just appoints anyone, to fill the gaps, and do they improve any role? I only use them at big clubs as I can't bothered to search all the roles.

Hope FM23 hasn't neglected the minor leagues this time even the licensed leagues weren't fixed by the last update. Northern Ireland had the championship clubs playing twice after the split meaning games every other day. Latvian clubs seem to all pay in Riga and the board believe that finishing third in a 10 team league is disappointing when the expected you to finish in the top half wonder if this has anything to do with the league increasing it's members after.

Anyone know an Internet Security that doesn't slow FM down so much? Every other game is fine but for a number of editions now it's FM that is most frustrating. Or at least what the settings should be I did get it to work quite well with my free Norton Security installation as I must have chanced on the perfect setting but since doing a PC reset and re-installing it it's now back to slow. Mcafee which came with the pc is as bad, and Microsoft Security has reverted to being even worse. My laptop is high performance gaming one with Alienware, relatively new and in good condition. It's been the same with the last two I play FM while doing other things, but this didn't interfere when I found the settings that made it run normally. I run the game within the recommended players limit on normal responsive settings. The processing times are fine it's the time between clicking to different pages that the problem. It's without a doubt the biggest issue with FM

And when you see Zebre instead of Juve and all the strange Spanish club names will the UECL feel so special, or will you see the names change from mid-week to Saturday depending on the tournaments licence.

One of the reasons for getting licences for leagues is so you also get the badges and correct names of those leagues and teams in it, so all you get with UEFA licenced tournaments is the badges and correctly named teams from leagues that already have a licence. FM has The Cymru Premier league and Bundesliga licenced. But when sponsored named clubs qualify for UEFA tournaments those clubs have to change their names, some stadiums lose their sponsor names. How is this represented on FM?

So, you'll get the UEFA logos and cups but the clubs not in a licensed league or allowed to use proper names who qualify will still be the same. Bit underwhelming really

I've never mentioned away supporters once. If a Wednesday fan pops outside a Blades supporting pub and starts winding them up, then a police car pulled up would the coppers be better to put him in the car and move him away and have it done with, or leave him with his right to stay there and risk an escalation with his safety being in danger? Or call ever more units onto the job to allow him to voice his opinion for as long as he wants? This is what I see them doing to protestors antagonising those attending these events, in removing them from a situation for their own safety and to prevent any escalation. And what are the protestors attempting to achieve, support? The BBC's saturation coverage has done a more effective job on that.

They won't be arresting you they'd be removing you from a situation that'd be worse for you. Or would a god hiding be a better outcome than having your liberty lost for 10 minutes and given back once told to get on your way.

Ok at what point do the Police consider the protesters safety, over their right to protest in front of a large crowd and should they ever consider the most efficient response to avoid it escalating? Is their liberty taken away for 10 minutes a worse outcome than the protestor being hurt? Is twenty police controlling a crowd later on a better use of resources than one using their fora short time. What at no point have any of you done is explain what the police should have done differently.
