  1. The problem with local lockdowns is how do you stop the neighbouring area pissheads which is in a tier 4 from entering say a tier 1 for a pint for example. The five mile rule I think only applied when the Pubs were still shut. Perhaps it can be kept for a while after this lockdown. Powys until recently had one of the lowest rates in the UK it borders Merthyr one of the highest in the UK to the South and the West Midlands to the East. Even within it there are dramatic variations in the localities. And if one town within the county had a more favourable Pub setup then another you'd get Alc
  2. Im waiting for a variant from here at least it'll bring a smile.
  3. A Government that is able to pay for the virus without cutting the services that helped treat and control it would be a start. The NHS is going to have a significant increase in funding, due to the amount of staff lost, through illness and death they'll need replacing and increased significantly. Servicemen get a payout if injured on duty perhaps they should be compensated similarly. Their pay will need to be adjusted so that they will be less likely to emigrate to better paying countries, or to better paid less demanding jobs. I would also apply this to the Care sector its too going to h
  4. Is there anyone here who doesn't believe lockdowns and face coverings, washing hands and maintaining distance isn't effective in controlling viruses spread in a similar way to Covid-? I've not had Flu symptoms a Cough, Cold or Sore throat since January 2020. (Which is when I had a bad one, and could have been a mild covid infection). I've not been in a packed Train, Bus, Pub, Shop, (I've been in a few empty ones) Stadium since March or traveled unnecessarily since either. My online ordered beer has been significantly better and cleaner than the pubs too so i've not had any hangovers or g
  5. As data tends to lag and its currently half term we may see a drop in these age groups attending and the teachers. What needs to be determined is are those key workers children passing the virus on to the parents.
  6. Will 12.5 million a month be both 1st and 2nd jab? When will 60,000,00 be first jabbed and have the recommended 3 week period after for it to be most effective. That still looks to be around November - December by the time we are all double jabbed. This will then be the time next years vaccination program will start out, if we are going to vaccinate everyone each year if we are going to following the FLU vaccination, which itself has had a large increase in uptake due to more being in the eligibility groups. The NHS staff will be taking there Annual leave once the pressure on hospitals ea
  7. There are schools open, could this be among the children of the key workers attending?
  8. The reliance is on managers to send the information to employees and the vaccinators I also don't believe your GPs and Health boards you work for can share information about you. My GP doesn't officially know I work across the road in a hospital and he doesn't know if I've used occy health while in work or been off sick. There too isn't anything on your GP records which can tell the Covid centres on your ability to attend a site, and as far as I know you cannot book an appointment at a neighbouring health board even if its centres are far more convenient to use. Vaccine centres run on Su
  9. As GP's don't generally know where you work, how will they know who to contact when its time for key workers to be jabbed? They will generally have your age and health conditions available to use for determine the group your in and this is what they are using now. Bear in mind we are not to contact GP surgeries to inquire about Covid Vaccinations.
  10. Are there any stattos or number crunchers here? If it's taken until now to give 10,000,000 there first jab at this rate when will 60,000,000 receive their 2nd given the 3 month gap between 1st and 2nd jabs? A full vaccination of the UK will require around 120,000,000 doses. If we are vaccinating 5,000,000 a month will this be soon 2.5 million 1st vaccines + 2.5 million 2nd dose. If so when will 60,000,000 be double dosed with this being most effective three weeks after the second dose. Will the latter groups receiving their second dose be getting that at around the same time as
  11. Booze and fags at this price and all those clubs and bars i'll be suffering a serious infection, locked up or dead within 6 months
  12. No this ain't a scammer spamming the forum or Jimmy Carr's accountant touting for business. But when will International management match clubs with contracts and correct tax deductions? I've got a contract without an end and on £5,000 pw tax free managing Thailand, after failing horrendously and being sacked from Guilsfield where I earned £180 pw, less a few quid for National Insurance. I have plenty of time between games but cannot request a Coaching Licence course either. I don't know what I'm gonna do in Thailand with all this money. This is FM20 so Covids not even heard of.
  13. How can you leave out something that has this and will change at least the next two seasons and has had a dramatic impact on every club? How can a new season FM be released when the last editions season hasn't finished and still nobody knows when the next starts? UEFA tournaments may get pushed back further, when will the 20-21 CL begin? Players will be included in any self isolation or travel bans. No point releasing an edition until the seasons of the main leagues are into their 3rd month of fixtures, when is this? Have an update FM 20 so we can play through 19-20 with it added.
  14. Yeah if you're skint spend what's left on computer games.
  15. An update to FM20 to include the pandemic so the season reflects what's happened in each country up to now and have the summer leagues updated to 2020 would be an option. If there is an FM21 SI will have to guess what'll happen after the games release or wether to include Covid at all. They did guess at Brexit for a few editions
  16. But cant the game recommend based on each players device it does with graphics.
  17. Is this the most the game will recommend? After getting new laptop with much higher specs and storage the recommended player count is still 125,000. I load all leagues on large database and all playable, then I fiddle about between playable and view only to get the player count close to this number. Yet once its loaded and ready to go its well over and runs on the old machine fine. I've not yet got past the selection of leagues yet on the new machine but was a bit put out that the limit hasn't risen.
  18. Select all the leagues, you may get 125,000 recommended max player count then fiddle around switching from playable to view only. Don't know why it stays at 125,000 as that is what I had with my last and have since upgrading to a gaming laptop.
  19. Does steam and other game sites automatically upgrade your settings once you transfer your games to an upgraded laptop or will I need to do something myself for it to happen?
  20. Anyone know why Box refuse to price match Currys PC World? Also what difference does it make selling to a the Public a PC on a Business website to a retail website? Currys terms & conditions aren't applicable if I buy of their Business site.
  21. Whats the build quality like? I want something I can trust. My last Dell was well built but a bit underpowered I don't mind paying a bit extra for a higher standard in reliability. I've been lumbered with a very poor Lenovo for a few years. It wasn't great to start with rattling fan, screws loosening which are impossible to screw tight once out the hole, then the battery went that needs a PC repairman to fix and the stupid lead is so stiff it splits meaning on on my third in 4 years. The only redeeming factor of it was the two or three year guarantee offered by the retailer(Which I r
  22. Any Online retailers that Price Match Currys PC World? All laptops I look at with them aren't available for delivery, Click & Collect isn't practical yet they are the cheapest when I research most models. This is my preferred option:https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/dell-g7-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i7-gtx-1650-1-tb-hdd-256-gb-ssd-10193022-pdt.html Pain in the arse they offer delivery on their Business to business website for exactly the same product, same price with V.A.T but under the terms and conditions of sale selling to non- business isn't a
  23. God knows what question this is answering Where are the regulations on how often a player can move or clubs they play for in each league. Most leagues have registration forms surely the contract to play acts as this in the game. Any idea who pays a loan players bonuses? You or the parent club.
  24. I see that this is calculated on a match playing basis so regardless whether they play or not it impacts on your salary performance with the board. Can't this be rectified so you are judged on what it's actually costing the club on a match by match basis? Instead of offering a new contract would it be better to have an agreement that the player stays. I've offered salaries and bonuses of 0 to keep a player as a substitute aren't players in most leagues registered with the FA's restricting them to a number of clubs each season, is this implented in Amater leagues? Staff wages. I pay
