  1. How much is the Fracking policy going to damage the environment, I care so much about and can no longer voice an opinion on?
  2. Oh god you're an Elizabeth too. Could you thank Boris too, I'd likely still only be a Prince if it wasn't for the shock of meeting the two of you.
  3. I wonder who'll be the first to stick their nut on to King Charles like MR Bean did to the Queen?
  4. SKY's NFL channel showed highlights from last night and included advert breaks, now I'm not sure if it waited for the advert embargo to lift before showing it or not. But what would be worse in a full game on Sunday? the NFL with its advert breaks every 5 minutes, a cut to the studio and do what BT did at the United game, or a blank UKTV screen?
  5. Where else does the death of your mother promote you into a job you've been waiting around to get for 70 years?
  6. (Apart from HIGNFY) They've not shown a decent new comedy for nearly 15 years so there's no change there.
  7. I'm getting even more suspicious now, after he was pulled up on lying to her a few years ago, when he met her, she looked well then two days later she's dead and in less than 24 hours he's written a speech that hasn't embarrassed the government and has redeemed his reputation slightly. I'm just thinking as he's not been seen or heard of for a couple of months he plotting his revenge, return in a script.
  8. Yeah, great then when the game gets re-arranged for a Tuesday night will they pay for the B & B too?
  9. Yeah, those train tickets are bloody expensive even on a senior citizens advance and then you can't trust the thing to run. I wonder if they use any of the PMs planes
  10. All it showed was Nicholas Witchell he changed the channel and it ended up on ITV. If not, then how disrespectful were UEFA in showing a constant live feed on the VAR screens
  11. Well, he knows what it's like to lead a country that claims to be a democracy yet makes it impossible to remove the head of state. King Putin.
  12. Then tell them to stfu about her being our Monarch then and allow those not bothered to enjoy their weekends how they wish. By the way if the Queen had a choice, she'd be heading to the races instead of wallowing in grief over someone they didn't know. and Phillip would have loved nothing better than a quiet, private funeral away from gawping strangers. The fuss and blanket coverage with all enjoyment cancelled is for the benefit of the flag waving monarchists who are the same odd balls who attend funerals of people they don't know. The Royal Family only comply with it to show that there is a reason for them, and we wouldn't manage without and to maintain their lifestyle at our expense.
  13. They'd replace it with the head of states image and at the rate the Tories go through PM's the only growth industry will be Post Box, Stamps and currency production. Nobody will be able to afford a holiday abroad so Passport printing will be in decline anyway.
  14. They've only just replaced the twenty- and fifty-pound notes, luckily the Kings government's so inept I'm unlikely to see many of them for very long again unless it's to pay my energy bill. Thankfully the Olympics isn't on for another few years so painting ER post-box gold won't be a waste of paint as they should have the CR111ones up by then. I wonder if Cristiano will bring up a copyright issue with those.
  15. The rail and postal strikes have been called off. So, they might get paid time-off rather than nothing for striking they get an extra couple of holidays for the funeral and coronation or overtime if they work them. The BT TV advert staff seem to have taken a few days off already.
  16. They've almost left out that the last non-family members to see her alive were the last and current PM, it's 25 years since Diana was buried and the 9-11 anniversary is soon. Wonder if any of these gets a look-in?
  17. They must have short memories or haven't been in the job that long, but we've had a trial run last year and at least two occasions since 97 and the BBC at has had it planned for at least 20 years. In fact, it was almost 25 years to the week that her ex-daughter-in law was buried which is when 24-hour news coverage and mass outpouring of grief started to be televised on every channel, in those days many still only had four channels, so it was even harder to avoid.
  18. The song she last heard in the 1950's that most of her ''subjects'' haven't but are hearing the new version is ''God Save the King'', I'm wondering if she was ever that enthusiastic on ever hearing that one again.
  19. It'd be interesting on who he'll be supporting in a Wales V England football match as President of the FA and Prince of Wales considering he supports Wales in the Rugby. (His mother was very fond of a Carling during the 90's). And to throw another contradiction into the works he might become Duke of Edinburgh too.
  20. SKY Sports news is too. There is no relief, looks like all football and sports getting postponed this weekend and the forecast isn't that great either. The FA really need to have words with its President about this. Just think if you are going to the pub to get pissed up to avoid the TV saturation, don't go to a Wetherspoons as it only shows BBC News 24 and is full of Patriotic, alcoholic bores who are bad enough during normal times. If you wanna laugh though just tell them she'd be still alive if it wasn't for Brexit
  21. Will train operators refund your tickets now you have no reason to travel since footballs been cancelled? I was going to London, thank God I'm not now as parts of London will be unbearable.
