If they've taken down commercials, why not just run the programs straight through without a break and just have 5 minutes at the end for time to use the loo. -

Found the Japanese one and it's got train news on instead. The disrespectful Yanks can't even be bothered to wear a black tie and the male presenters haven't even toned down their makeup.

BBC1, BBC2, BBC News 24 and BBC Scotland News specials. BBC3 and BBC 4 switched off, even ''Thats TV'' where I found repeats of Alf Garnett on has switched off. Now if they take the footy off this weekend then they will have gone too far, sometimes people need a break from grief pushed on to them. 24 Hour news channels have a lot to answer for I swear many are just doing it encase they miss a bit of news, and they see it on a rival channel

She's completely ruined that joke, hasn't she? Charles isn't the Prince of Wales anymore and wouldn't be on a coin if he was. Bet the Royal Mint workers are chuffed, only just got out the new £20 and £50 notes out and have to design another load of notes and coins, will they even bother with 1p and 2ps?

Well, they'll get a couple of extra ones to make up for that. No point going on strike if the countries having a day off as well. And they've got a **** load of new stamps to print and Post boxes to build now.

Might be worth you going for a fortnights holiday where electricity and Wi-Fi signals not available, also not being on this thread would help you if you are suffering from HM overkill already.

I find the older the person the easier it is due to it not being too unexpected, when they are terminally ill and in pain without piles of drugs it's sometimes even a relief that they aren't suffering anymore. I think Phillip going last year has conditioned us into knowing what to expect for the next few weeks. the BBC at least will hopefully have learned from the overkill of putting the news on every single channel for a whole weekend, even the staunchest of Royalists were fed up with it after a few days.

The Royals aren't nearly as emotional or compassionate towards each other as the ''Experts'' on tv are about them it was the general public that got them to even show some sign of caring when Diana died the mother of the Queens Grandchildren. Phillip was known to despise all the fuss and attention. The outpouring of grief will be from the hordes of morbid onlookers at the Palaces and Royalists commentators looking to pretend how well they knew her. What the BBC won't tell us is how long they've been ''on-call'' waiting.

Get paid double time if she'd held on until October it'd be in my Xmas wages, we do need to spread out our bank holidays there are too many in Spring, not enough in Summer and a big gap between August and December. If Charles' Coronation is in a month or more it will also be a bank holiday which is where it's needed most, possibly November 5TH or Oct 31st.

If she'd held on into November, she'd have knackered up the World Cup coverage on got FIFA back for not choosing the Prince William and King Beckhams backed English bid. Then again, the BBC might still be covering it in December
