LLM'er
Short Update (Portuguese Super Cup) Sporting CP Vs Porto Sporting CP edge out oponents in close encounter! Sporting CP won a hard thought battle against Porto today at the Estadio De Algrave. Sporting CP finally took the lead on 90 Minutes after Midfielder Raul Garcia scored an audacious chip from the edge of the area! Porto Winger, Florent Malouda didn't give up however, as he scored a spectacular goal, a perfect long range curling shot from the edge of the area on 90 Minutes! With the game going into extra time, Porto will think themselves very luck. However everything changed on 106 Minutes when the Porto defence failed to stop Amauri who scored with a close range volley which hit the inside post before crossing the line! Porto were unable to find an answer to this and the game ended Sporting CP 2 - 1 Porto! Attendance: 29,
Shroom420
Unblievebly outstanding updates LLM lovign every minute of this so far. 6 friendly games 17 goals 1 conceded and wont the community shield. My one dissapointment is my amount of injuries (bale month adn eto 3 weeks main 2) but i doubt that will hold me back too much. Theres also a few teams out there who have really gone for alot more people but i can take em. Keep it going LLM this is a great sign up and bow down to your commitment so far. Whoopy D
Two good wins so far for Lyon, was disappointed that we'd only signed 2 players especially with Kanoute being one of them, it's going ok at the moment so I'll let the gaffer off for now. LLM'er
Extra Domestic Games + European Games News Italian Super Cup 24th August: (Scorers - Dimitar Berbatov, Fred) Inter 2 - 1 Roma (Scorers - Robinho) Premiership 27th August: (Scorers - Benzema) Sao Paulo 1 - 2 Sporting CP (Scorers - Raul Garcia, Cristiano Ronaldo) League Cup Round 1 13th August: (Scorers - Luis Fabiano) Athletico Madrid 1 - 0 Lazio 20th August: (Scorers - Manuel Fernandes x 2, Morten Gamst Pederson) Juventus 3 - 1 Sao Paulo (Scorers - Maxi Rodriguez) League Cup 2nd Round 26th August: (Scorers - Lionel Messi x 2) Chelsea 2 - 0 River Plate (Scorers - Theo Walcott, Falcao, Rafael Van Der Vaart) Manchester United 3 - 0 Dagenham and Redbridge 27th August: Athletico Madrid 0 - 0 AS Monaco FC (Monaco win 3 - 2 on penalties) Benfica 0 - 1 Udinese Dinamo Kiev 2 - 1 Valencia (Scorers - Emmanuel Adebayor) Borussia Dortmand 2 - 1 Boca Juniors (Scorers - Obafemi Martins) (Scorers - Sergio Aguero, Mathieu Chalme) Bayern Munich 2 - 0 Celtic (Scorers - Fernando Varela) Juventus 1 - 1 Shaktar Donetsk (Shaktar win 6 - 5 on penalties) Osasuna 1 - 1 Porto (Scorers - David Beckham) (Osasuna win 6 - 5 on penalties) (Scorers - Francesco Modesto, Rafael Sobis) Sevilla 2 - 1 Anderlecht Stuttgart 0 - 3 Roma (Scorers - Robinho, Eduardo, Pavel Pardo O.g.) Zaragoza 2 - 1 Fiorentina (Scorers - Robin Van Persie) Uefa Cup Second Qualifying Round Leg 1 14th August: (Scorers - Matias Fernandez x 2, Michael Essien, Lucho Gonzalez) Barcelona 4 - 0 Stabaek Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round Leg 1 13th August: (Scorers - Stephen Ireland, Ricardo Quaresma, Alessandro Del Piero) Liverpool 3 - 0 Standard Valerenga 0 - 2 Arsenal (Scorers - Adrian Mutu, Brandao) Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round Leg 2 27th August: (Scorers - Gabriel Heinze) Arsenal 1 - 0 Valerenga (Arsenal win 3 - 0 Agg.) Standard 0 - 1 Liverpool (Scorers - Alessandro Del Piero) (Liverpool win 4 - 0 Agg.) Conclusion: Well some teams have definately not stepped off first gear, they seem to believe they are still in Pre-Season! Sao Paulo got off to a dream start in the league despite their recent defeat to Sporting CP, but in the League Cup were dumped out in the first round by Juventus. Several other teams in the League Cup were dumped out aswell, with only a few Premiership teams making it through. The Euro scene however is much different with Arsenal and Liverpool being the main focus, Liverpool defeating there oponents 4 - 0 Agg. and Arsenal beating theirs 3 - 0 Agg. Manchester United, Sporting CP and Inter are the 3 teams so far to pick up silverware, more teams will be hoping to add to that list!

AtilasMiserly
Arsenal has conceded 3 goals in 6 friendlies. That's disgraceful. I have spent the top 6 seeds building the back 4, goalie and defensive midfielder. At least, we have not conceded any in 4 competitive games. George Graham's era is back. AtilasMiserly
Damn, we conceded one and lost the game while I was typing the previous post. viperk1
Wow - what an awful Champions League group for Liverpool (who am I kidding, if they DON'T finish top by some margin, I'll fire Capello ) And so much for finishing 18th, ey LLM'er? 6th (with the possibility of going 2nd if I win the game in hand). LLM'er
Viperk1, It's either i havent finished the week (as i just do updates when i feel i have plenty of games to update on)... or... it's because of champions league, Uefa Cup, League Cup or other Cup fixtures that have interfered with the fixtures for the Premier League. Glad your team is doing well for you by the way lol.
LLM'er
England aren't doing well with two 1 - 1 draws against Andorra and Croatia! I've been smashed with major injuries: Ochoa Julio Baptista David Villa However my back-up new signing Goalkeeper Quim got a 7.70 Av.R in his 1st match, so i think i'll be fine, and i have Amauri and Agbonlahor for strikers I wonder whats going to happen in future with the fact that all ex-english teams seem to be in the champions league!
