English League Reshuffle Sign-Up

Great updates again lad can't wait to see if i can avoid relegation.

As i have a manager who is good at beating the drop i think i should be ok.

I could also see my board sack him and hire someone else for the MIGHTY MAN UNITED.

Back off to Villa vs Chelsea no rest for the wicked.

If you keep it up like this LLM we will be at january at no time great work.

Well to be honest, i'm having a lot of fun doing this, more so than my previous sign-up which admitedly wasn't great for me with making the updates. I think the major factor in it being fun, is i've actually taken part in this 1, so it's good to see how well my own team is doing.

Oh and just a little hint Shroom, i doubt your manager is gonna get sacked :D

Tom, I highly doubt it will be soon, it's probably one of the largest updates in terms of the amount of games, and i have very little time left before i have to leave. There are some very interesting results though and i'm liking whats happened in Europe.

WOOOOO mid table here we come. Tbh i expect atleast that, actually europeon finish or sakcage:p.

Why wont he be sacked? Is he in a sexually active relationship with the owner?

These are the things you need to be updating on, scores are a side thing.

It's the drama you need to be reporting on, make it a soap like the very poor "Dream Team" (soap based around a football team if you don't know)

Whoopy D - I really hope that you DON'T win that game in hand.

EDIT: No matter what the result is, I ain't staying 3rd, it seems. A draw would put Lyon 3rd, a win for Lyon would put them 2nd, and a win for Barca would put THEM 3rd...>_<

Cracking stuff to see my team 3rd in the league - and topping my Champions League group :D

End Of Month Summary: Manchester United and Barcelona have been pushing Sporting CP all the way this month, and the major factor behind Sporting CP's recent failures against Roma and Real Madrid is their record amount of injuries (9) to major first team players! In other news, Inter have sacked Harry Redknapp! He has been failing to spark Inter into life in recent games and has ultimately brought them down to 17th Place, 1 place above relegation (also 1 point above). With a Media Prediction of 2nd, this was obviously not good enough. A major talking point this month was Porto's first victory! They were always tipped to fight relegation with a Media Prediction of 18th, and that victory will have done them wonders! However, they are still 4 points behind Benfica and Fiorentina, but ironically, their victory came against Benfica with 2 wonderfull goals. Who will replace Harry Redknapp as manager of Inter? Wait and see in the November Update!

Cant believe my invincibles have had 9 major injuries :( the second worst of team with injuries only has 4... Thankfully David Villa came back from injury in time and Ochoa has stayed unscaffed!

Manchester United have really turned on the style, reminds me of the real life situation at the moment, we started of bad but now 7 points clear of Liverpool!

I shall add a league table to the Championship update later tonight or tomorrow!

Tom, seems like the Sporting CP game which Sevilla lost has really given um a kick up the you know what? lol

Dipdees, Inter are not rushing to find a manager, i think the Chairman is probably looking for a specific type of person, but no manager as of yet! He was sacked on the 28th i think, so thats basically why we don't know yet.

Corinthiano, Barcelona are on the form of their life, so i wouldnt agree with your statement.

Scotty, as i've said about 3 times now, those predictions were made by me personally, from looking at everyones players. The Media Predictions are totally different, such as my prediction is 16th by the media, i predicted myself 5th place.

Corinthiano' date=' Barcelona are on the form of their life, so i wouldnt agree with your statement.[/quote']

I didn't mean that it was a bad defeat in terms of quality of the opposition, but because Barcelona are our biggest rivals. It is always awful to lose against your biggest rivals at home, so I think my statement is pretty correct ;)

two losses two wins is ok i guess

would have liked to have beaten juve seeing as they were below us, chelsea im not too dissapointed at

good win over A.C and the only team so far to have beaten LLM'ers so-called "invincibles" :p

Corinthiano, I see where your coming from now :) I pretty much agree with what you said now lol. But like i said, they are looking unbeatable at the moment. I just hope they aren't up against my team any time soon, these injuries are killing me!

Scotty, thats no problem mate :D

Swafe, congratulations on beating my wounded team with 10 dead players lol. If only i had my full team instead of like 10 youth players! I'm the most unlucky sign-up-ee to surf this forum! lol :D

October Premiership and Championship Update

Premiership

1st November:

Porto 1 - 1 Sporting CP

(Gary Neville - Angelo Palombo)

Arsenal 1 - 1 Sao Paulo(Brandao - Jesus Navas)

Bayern Munich 4 - 0 Fiorentina

(Mathieu Chalme, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar x 2, Sergio Aguero)

Inter 0 - 2 Chelsea

(Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain)

Manchester United 2 - 2 Barcelona

(Samuel Eto'o, Falcao - Victor Obinna x 2)

Lyon 3 - 2 Sevilla

(Patrice Evra, Frederik Kanoute, Niko Kranjcar - Javi Garcia, Rafael Sobis)

Real Madrid 2 - 1 Juventus

(Pato x 2 - Nicolas Anelka)

Roma 1 - 2 Boca Juniors

(Eduardo - Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Xabi Alonso)

Valencia 3 - 3 A.C. Milan

(Emmanuel Adebayor x 2, Diego Forlan - Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, Clarence Seedorf)

Summary: Sporting CP earn a draw against Porto in these dark times, however it was at the cost of a further 2 players, with 1 player coming back from injury, that makes it 10 players! There was nothing to choose between Manchester United and Barcelona as they cancelled each other out with 2 goals apiece (to the delight of Sporting CP). On the other hand, Porto will have enjoyed earning the point which pulls them to 3 points behind 19th place. In other news, Bayern Munich demolish Fiorentina with some classy finishing, bringing them up to 4th place!

Championship

4th October:

Zenit St. Petersburg 1 - 1 Athletico Madrid

(John Obi Mikel)

18th October:

Athletico Madrid 4 - 1 CSKA Moscow

(Dudu, Sergio, Luis Fabiano, Yury Zhirkov

21st October:

Athletico Madrid 1 - 0 Olympique De Marseille

(Renato)

25th October:

Athletico Madrid 4 - 1 Galatasary

(Pepe, Dudu, James Milner, Renato)

28th October:

Palermo 0 - 1 Athletico Madrid

(Andriy Shevchenko)

1st November:

Athletico Madrid 1 - 0 Lazio

(Luis Fabiano)

Summary: Athletico Madrid are demolishing teams as if they were from a different division! They are a massive 9 points clear of second place and look to continue with this dazzling form! The manager will be hoping to prepare for next season in January by adding more depth to the team.
