If you buy him earlier I imagine he'll be much cheaper, as he only starts the game at £3M. These Are His Starting Stats These Were His Stats In 2013 He's an incredibly solid defender, is "Accomplished" or higher in DC, DL, SW, DM, MC and ML, and has a ton of Player Preferred Moves (namely, Shoots from distance, Shoots with power, Winds up opponents, Tries to play way out of trouble, and Hits free kicks with power). What's more, because his Jumping is 20 and his Heading starts at 18 before rising to 20, he's a master of corners. If you stick him on the "Near Post Flick On" option and have all corners aimed at the near-post, he'll be a serious contender for your top scorer - he got 37 goals for me last season! The one downside for him is that he's non-EU, being Chilean. I'm not sure how hard it is to get a work permit, since I bought him in Italy where that's not an issue. Vidal is a mustbuy for every team. As a intercepting big header excellent. If you place him next to a more quick or sweeper type you will have a class central defence. The likes of Nesta, Maldini, Stam were or are all great defenders who played fast strikers. Why have a very quick defender who can run after the fast striker, when you can have one who doesn't even let the ball nor player get past him to even consider running after the striker .
