Great work turning the season around Probably it's not lose 7 league games in a season. They lost only 2 last season and still didn't win the league, losing out to Barcelona by 10 points

Northernpilgrim
We played 10 matches in preseason, mixing games against big teams with games we expected to win easily. I am delighted with 10 wins from
Northernpilgrim
Nominally, we made two signings over the summer, but Clovis was here last season, and the transfer was a compulsory purchase as part of his loan deal He has improved as a player over the last year though and Aydin joins on loan as a right back Edited September 7, 2019 by Northernpilgrim
Northernpilgrim
This is my squad for the new season and these are the players in my under 23s, who I hope to bring through to the first team if I stick around long enough. The only exception being Grillo, who I will sell if I get a reasonable offer
Northernpilgrim
Only two league games in August, and 4 points gained, but that was the bare minimum I expected and that leaves us off the pace set by leaders Milan

Northernpilgrim
We lost our opening game of October, a Champions League home match against Toulouse (deservedly, we were awful), but responded by winning our other matches to leave us 5 points clear at the top of Serie A, with Atalanta our surprise nearest challengers and we're second in our Champions League group, with Atletico Madrid next up in Turin. Win that and qualification is very much in our own hands
Nobby_McDonald
Very well done winning the Scudetto Pilgrim.

Northernpilgrim
We remain unbeaten in the league at the end of November, but there were two sloppy points dropped, and a Champions League aberration which sees us end the month top of the Serie A table, still 5 points clear and we're second in our Champions League group, with one game to go. Only a win over Toulouse in France will guarantee progress. Having lost to Toulouse and Atletico Madrid, if we were to draw with Toulouse, we would be eliminated if Atletico beat Leipzig
Northernpilgrim
We had a perfect December, winning six out of six in the league, plus our final Champions League group game leaving us 11 points clear in Serie A, Atalanta still our nearest challengers and finished top of our Champions League group too. Sadly, we've been rewarded with Real Madrid in the next round
Northernpilgrim
January was another perfect month and we are now a massive 14 points clear, with 17 games to play. It's not done yet, but it's definitely ours to lose from here

Northernpilgrim
May was perfect, with 5 wins from 5, and only 1 goal conceded and our lead at the top grows to 26, although we have played 1 game more

kevhamster
Good luck with Dortmund! Northernpilgrim
October started with a defeat, but things soon started to improve as we end the month top of the Bundesliga, 4 points clear of Red Bull Leipzig, the only other unbeaten Bundesliga team but trail Chelsea in the Champions League

Northernpilgrim
November was pretty near perfect, as we won all 5 of our games, and conceded just 1 goal Giving us a 6 point lead in the Bundesliga and needing to beat Chelsea at home to win our Champions League group. We can go all out for the win, as we've qualified already, as have Chelsea. The other match in the group is a dead rubber, as Shakhtar are guaranteed third and a Europa League spot, and Panathinaikos will finish bottom. Northernpilgrim
December was unbeaten, but there were dropped points with two drawn games which saw our lead at the top of the Bundesliga cut to 4 points and the victory over Chelsea confirmed us as Champions League group winners

For what it's worth, I also set my GK's to take free-kicks, (not from wide), and he scored 7 this season and 7 last season. That tends to be a better return than outfield specialists too, (but be careful with that because you need to think about a multi-layered defence so you don't get hit from deep).
