nonleague
Cannot find the answer to this anywhere. I would like to know what attributes should I be looking for when trying to hire for example a defending coach, attacking, tactics etc. This is the list that I have but it did not help me to get 4.5 stars plus for each required position so please if you could add to it that would be much appreciated. Shooting - Tech Attacking Attacking - Attacking Technical Defending - Defending Tactical Ball control - Technical Mental Tactics - Tactics Also, what am I looking for in regards to Physio's? Keyzer Soze
Attacking Coach: Attack + Tactics + DDM Defensive Coach: Defense + Tactics + DDM Stop Shooting: Goalkeepers + Mental + DDM Handling: Goalkeepers + DDM Streght: Fitness + DDM Aerobic: Fitness + DDM Ball Control: Mental + Technical + DDM Shooting: Attack + Technical + DDM Physio: Physiotherapy + Motivating + Determination DDM = Determination, Level of Discipline, Motivating. Try having at least 45 point in the sum of this three attributes. This is a link to a star coach calculator. I think it was made for FM2011, but it still works fine for FM2013. It may not be 100% correct but it's close enough to let you know how many stars your coach will have. http://bonzollm.vze.com/fmcc

BAD-RELIGION
They have changed alot since FM07, so that out-of-date :/
sjm
Unless FM13 is different, you can see which attributes a category improves in the player profiles under training progress. Crossing hasn't (thankfully) been under set pieces for a long time - in fact there's no training category for set pieces at all, but you can assign individual training focus (at least on FM11). VinnyChilds
This is the spreadsheet I keep to track my coaches abilities. It's for '12 rather than '13 so it looks like the keeper formula might need tweaking for that, but it might be useful for someone: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?d2to2w0w1rwej5a The highlighted cells under the Rating area show who is the best staff member I have for each category. Highlighted cells under Rating in the Shortlist section show staff with better ratings than I currently have.
