omaroo
Basically I'm trying to copy the saves and hall of fame file over to my laptop. But when I tried to look for it, it was no where to be found. Why is this? Could t be because of the error messages I'm getting.

bianconeri96
Unlike the game saved files which are under your user session in /My Documents/Sport Interactive/Football Manager 2012, this file hall_of_fame.dat is in a shared ( also named public ) folder in the Root/Users folder ( assuming you won a trophy ). If you are on a Mac, the file would be on Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/Sport Interactive/Football Manager 2012. Alternatively, have you consider doing a search for that file ? @adhikapp , this file can be open with a text editing application, like Notepad, or TextEdit ( Mac )

bianconeri96
Well... I don't remember whether or not this file was there by default when I originally installed the game, but this is typically the kind of file that would only be created if the save needs it. Win a trophy that earns some points in the HoF and you'll find out.
magicmastermind124
For me the file is in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012. Make sure you are not looking in your user Documents folder.
