was gutted we managed to lose the opening game of the month as we deservedly went down to Malaga but that seemed to spur us on as we took victories in the remaining matches of the month, breezed through our champions league games and the Copa Del Ray, Sedano was on fire for us as he has been in the Castilla squad as he has fired them to the top of Spain's second tier, pity we couldnt get them into La Liga and did a 1/2 but winning the top two league does me nicely if i leave him in the castilla squad this season he will 100% be promoted to the first team next season for his 18th birthday and ill have the tough decision of who to sell.

Rep. Ireland

149px-Ireland_Football_Team_Badge.png

The Republic of Ireland national football team represents Ireland in association football. It is run by the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and currently plays home fixtures at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, which opened in May 2010.

The team made its debut at the 1924 Summer Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals, it also participated at the 1948 Summer Olympics. Between 1924 and 1936, the team competed as the Irish Free State and from then until 1950, it was referred to by the FAI as Éire or Ireland.[citation needed] In 1953, FIFA decreed that for competitive matches in tournaments that both Irish teams may enter, the FAI team would be officially called the Republic of Ireland while the IFA team was to be named Northern Ireland (The IFA continued to use the name "Ireland" until 1970 for non-FIFA competitions).[2]

Under the guidance of Jack Charlton and his successor Mick McCarthy, the team enjoyed its most successful era, qualifying for UEFA Euro 1988 in their first appearance at the UEFA European Championship, reaching the quarterfinals of the 1990 FIFA World Cup in their first ever appearance at the finals, and making the last 16 at both the 1994 and 2002 FIFA World Cups. Under the guidance of Giovanni Trapattoni, the team narrowly lost out on qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup during a controversial play-off and missed out on qualification to the 2012 European championships, After the retirement of Trapattoni, Ireland finished third in the 2014 world cup Qualifiers behind Romania and England.

Mick McCarthy then returned to the hotseat and guided them to their first major chapionships since 2002 as he guided them to 3rd in the group then into the finals after beating Lithuania. In france however they picked up 0 points, scored 3 goals and went home early. they faired better in the 2018 qualifiers as they won the group and went to Russia for the world cup, however they drew a difficult group and finished 3rd.

McCarthy was replaced by Hughton it wasnt a good time as they bombed in the euro qualifiers and they again in the World cup qualifiers, Ireland have sank down to 69th in the world rankings.

The side was the first team from outside the United Kingdom to defeat England on home soil, at a fixture played at Goodison Park, Liverpool, in 1949. The team also reached the quarter-finals of the 1964 European Nations' Cup.

8 games this month been too many squad has been stretched as shown in the 2-1 defeat to Bilbao in the cup but we are managing to hang on to top spot in the league, Thankfully Bilbao beat Barca 4-3 in La Liga allowing us to get some day light between us and second place. it will be intresting with Ireland too contend with im also contemplating the sale of 29 yr old Kadlec this summer to push Sedano up to the 1st team, as he has 11 goals n 17 starts for the B team as they ride high in the 2nd tier.

Well the two draws were major stumbling points in the league as we allowed Barcelona back into the title race and find ourselves second based on only the result earlier in the season, which is disappointing as we now rely on them slipping up or getting three points from them later in the season. on the plus side we have managed to give ourselves an epic lead in the champions league first leg. and should easily make the quarters.

Well a busy month but a month in which we have seen us win all of our games, but specifically we have effectively won the league, as we completely smashed Barca in Madrid the odd goal I would have been pleased with but six I was ecstatic with that tied alongside Barca dropping points it leaves us completely in the driving seat for the final few games, the champions league was just as much a success as we beat Schalke with ease in the semi finals and set up a tie with Barcelona at the Stade de France next month. Sedando still only has 11 goals due to him playing wide right now, however a Brazilian striker i signed to bolster the b team has grabbed 11 in 15 and i constantly keep an eye on him

Well Game set and match Madrid, managed to smash the league as after the solid win last month they struggled to recover, dropping more points and left us with a bigger end of season gap than expected, overall i would a preferred it to be a lot more comfortable in the league but it was pretty obvious to be honest who was going to win after el classico, this month there was only two league games the Madrid derby which end in a draw and a pretty standard win over a poor osasuna side, the month was also full of cup finals this month as we sealed the Copa del ray and beat Barca in the champions league final

Well a average Pre-Season if I'm fair, on the Transfer front it was 3 in 3 out with the older heads being sold on for newer younger replacements all from the summer's world cup, Brazilian Centre Midfielder Silva Joined with a view to the future and has been placed into the Castilla squad for the coming season, Kwarteng the 22 Year old Ghana Right back has impressed me the previous two summers but he moved to PSV when I had other targets in mind, but this summer i got my man and he will slot into the right back position with Santangelo moving into the middle alongside Milas Alsop signed was Juventus and Italy Right back Fimongnari, he will be Back up to Kwarteng but will also cover the middle of defence, attacking signings there were none the only addition is Sedando moving into the Full team after impressing in the Castilla squad last season. Im also keeping an eye on some Under 16 players with the intention of adding them to the U19 squad to begin building up a big pool of Talent

Well the Spanish cup game saw us change tact slightly as I've moved to a 5-3-2 with wing-backs purely because I've always liked the formation currently have a defensive one and I'm developing an attacking one to work alongside it, and i have to say in the two games ive played using it, it has performed very well, two clean sheets 9 goals and a couple of solid performances, however the big test is on November 1st when we play Man City in the champions league

Well I AM going to say the new tactic is on fire! however I think it's more to do with the fact i have the better players I am disappointed that Gimnastic managed to score as we had been solid at the back up to that point, I've decided due to the lack of right wing backs in my squad I'm training a couple of right backs to play there, 15 goals from the 7 games is a good return a small one for me normally but a good return all the same its very defensive though I want to try and work out a bit more of an attacking version if I'm honest

League table after 17 games

Disappointed with the draw as its allowed Bilbao to move closer to us but at Christmas we are top of the league, which is a cracking effort with the new tactic we aren't smashing the goals in left right and centre like we were but we are hitting solid comfortable wins which is what is important. and the attacking 5-3-2 is helping a lot with dominating teams, and the front three passing the ball about well, I'm chuffed we won the World Club cup and Barcelona are well behind in the championship race.

Always seem to draw a monthly league game, we are still in the strongest position to win La Liga though as we continue to be unbeaten this season. and we are solid at the back id prefer some more goals, but as long as I'm unbeaten and top of the league I'm happy. I've also qualified for the Copa del Ray Final where I'll play Barcelona, and I'll also got myself a solid position in the Champions league first knockout round. with a good lead heading into the second leg.
