Well a bit of a mixed bag in pre-season. we held our own in all the games it was disappointing to lose to Vitesse even though they finished 3rd in the Dutch championship I'm only disappointed with the GF 38 result but ill accept it as my side are only just getting used to the tactics (the same 5-3-2 from spain) ive tweaked a little bit to suit the side with less quality, now we begin to get going in the main challenge of getting the club back into Ligue 1

Well a bit of an odd month for us, at home we are brilliant free-flowing and comfortably ahead of sides who come to Arles away from home we seemed like a side of 11 strangers just unable to get a foothold in the game, I'm not going to play hoof it football I want to play passing football and I don't want to deviate away from the policy if I can help it. We changed in the final away game of the month with me dropping the AMC for away matches and putting him as the DMC ( I remember at real we seemed too defensive with the DMC and subsequently ditched it in favour of the more attacking AMC) in the trip to Istres we seemed more solid as a unit breaking successfully, I'll be interested to see how this pans out next month

Current Position after 5 games: 4th

No table yet as its still early on

good update there some good wins and your teams seems free scoring which will be a advantage come later on in the season.

its the away form that worried me but we'll see how i get on.

Solid start to the season .

I bet its a shock to the system seeing 80,000 less fans at your ground.

It was first home match i thought it was missing a number!

I also love the fact Arles is a blank slate they havent won a single trophy EVER! so im looking forward to changing that :)

Dammit! Stade Brestois equalizer cost us the perfect month, we are seeming to play a bit more solidly we just need to work on taking our chances, we had plenty of them in the last few games but we need to score them as a little hiccup can see us drawing or losing a few back to back games but for now I'm looking at the positives we are unbeaten this month we have made the 4th round of the Spanish cup where we play Ligue 1 side Sedan, but the league is my priority, its a straight three up three down in France i need to make sure I'm in the top 3 come May as there's no play-offs and we sit 2nd chasing down leaders Lemas.

Current position after 9 games 2nd

Next month ill start posting the table as its starting to take shape

That was a cracking start for us this month as we managed to get 3 points from one of the big guns in Ligue 2, and again it's our away form that lets us down its extremely annoying as we wobble on the road, we need to get more solid on our travels, im still hanging onto top spot but only just we don't deserve to go up or be champions if we cant sort out our away form, we have work to do on that a few new additions as there is no transfer window in Ligue two which is odd but fun in a few 18 yr old French attackers brought in.

Another brilliant month as we currently sit in a champions league spot, but I know it's all going to end badly, I know it but my aim it's to rack as many points as possible on the board before it goes all pear shaped, Already my team is being linked with other sides, and I'm linked with the PSG Job, I'm hoping to reach the 40 point mark soon, which will make me relax. However if PSG offer me the job it will be a hard decision.

Well it's the turn of the year and we found ourselves sat in 3rd in the league, which I'm ecstatic with to be honest, with 38 points at christmas im safe bet to stay up we have ran the big teams close, and even beat Lyon, we are doing well against the lower table sides, and the sides around the relegation zone, 38 points would keep us up in 5 of the last 7 seasons so i think survival is achieved im now aiming for a top half finish

Table after 20 games

1st Lyon 48 Points

2nd OM 43 Points

3rd Arles 38 Points

4th Lille 37 Points (1 Game in hand)

5th Tours 34 Points
