chile_paul
We just pipped Porto to the Bronze League title in our second season at that level Which gave use enough reputation increase to FINALLY raise our youth recruitment network to... basic! Silver League looks HARSH - loads of really big teams. Will be quite surprised if our first relegation isn't on the cards this season. Impressive stuff!! spotg
First four games in the Silver league: Monaco 4 - 0 NVCC NVCC 0 - 5 FC Bayern Betis 2 - 1 NVCC NVCC 0 - 3 Rangers :( Edit: Then we get a game against the other team in the Silver League that looked a bit out of place: NVCC 3 - 0 Zurich

spotg
Thanks I'm hopeful that we can challenge for promotion to the World Gold league this coming season - we beat a couple of Gold league sides on the way to winning the KWT after all.

Argie86x
Hey Kenco, first at all, great DB , thank you , I took Boca to Gold League But im having a little problem, I start a new game, just swap Ferro (South America E League Zone 2) with Atl Tucuman (South America D League Zone 2) And now in the country selection screen there is a problem with Finland: "Require maximum of 9 teams for First Division North, found 10" And im unable to select Finland, but If I select Argentina, the game runs well, Ferro plays the D league zone, but then, why is Finland having that problem (I didn´t touch anything related to Finland lol)? and my real question and fear, can this error corrupt the save I currently playing with Ferro in a future?
Kenco
Are you playing on the default database or 12.2? You should use default, 12.2 will cause problems like this. But if you don't select Finland then it shouldn't affect your game.
Argie86x
Yes I'm using default database, I'm in 2015 right now, no problems so far. Thanks
Walrus
Just downloaded this and when I went to run the new game, the editor data files button is greyed out. Not so much a problem now but will be if I want to start a non-World League game. Any ideas why? UPDATE - OK it gives me the option after starting the new game. But it clashes with the Weegie update. Any way of getting the two to work alongside each other? The clash appears to be over them both being English options.
Kenco
If the Weegie one also has a nation rules file for England then you can't run them together, sorry. If it was any other league you could leave it out, but the whole World League structure is set up in England.

Kenco
Are there any plans for this in FM2013? =] The same as this version? No. Bigger and better than this version? Possibly. Depends on a number of factors, you'll find out more nearer the FM13 release date.
Maw74
I've just started a new game with this edit after I abandoned a previous attempt 8 seasons in because after adding and removing leagues the game is so slow. I'm using the files from the first link in post 2, I've added my own club and changed a few things for my new game, just minor things though. My team will start in the nPower Championship South & Euro D League Zone 1. Just a question about the a teams reputation, does that mainly influence the players that will join the club or the boards expectations? my board expect us to win nPower Championship South, Euro D League Zone 1 and the FA cup.
Kenco
Your club reputation will influence both. Setting it high will mean you can attract better players and your board will expect instant success.
Maw74
Ok thanks, that will explain the high expectations then. I survived finishing 4th in the nPower Championship South but don't think I will make it through the rest of the season. boonty
Hi Kenco! I am French so I apologize if I make some mistakes. Just to congratulate for your amazing work with this update which mixes national competitions and world league. I created the Luxembourg championship based on the pattern of the others national championships in order to play with Union(LUX) (I corrected the name of this club which RFCU Luxembourg). Union(LUX) is in D League at the beginning. After 14 seasons, I am in Silver League and I will only stop when I win the Gold League. The beginning was very hard because of the reputation of Luxembourg which doesn't allow to buy quality players but when you search very deeply, you can find some nice players who have helped me to dominate the Luxembourg and start the successive promotion in the world league. If you are interested by my story (and you are a good french speaker), I could give you the link of my story that I have written on a French forum. Very nice work man
Kenco
Thanks. Congratulations on reaching the Silver League, quite an achievement. How many season has it taken you? Feel free to post your story here, I'm sure others will be interested to read it, as will I. I'm doing something similar myself, I took over a 2nd divisions team in Morocco who start in the North African D League. The first season was tough as I had to rely on the players I already had and no transfers but after that the money starts to come in and I can sign better players but I couldn't get anyone from outside of Africa. After a couple of seasons my scouts now go all over the world and I've got a number of useful Eastern European players who have helped me achieve 3 straight promotions to the African A League. edit: My French isn't great but my girlfriend is studying to become a French teacher, so I'll get her to translate for me! I won the Kenco World Cup during the s9 while I was in C League because of the Euro occuring at the same time that the final. It was not abig deal for me but for Man United, it was because because they haven't their top players available As you can see, I had the same evolution than you. I essentially bought quality players (young and free) from Brazil and Argentina to help me achieve promotions because the level of native Luxembourg players is very low. The D Leagues can be difficult to get out of as a small team but once you get promoted it can be quite easy to storm up the leagues. I've found myself buying at least 10-12 new players every season, essentially replacing the first team every year. It's easy to do with the money available, which gives you the chance to turn any club in the world into a major force. It's a shame I could only manage 5 seasons as I've now tried out FM13 and looks like I won't go back to my FM12 save.

george07
I have some questions. I think the World Champions Cup and the others continental competitions have static reputation, but how about the World leagues and national leagues? Have static or dynamic reputation? And how is relagation/promotion made in lower leagues? Let's say, teams from East Europe A League will relegate in East Europe B League? Or will be distributed in a random World B League? In World Champions Cup are qualified only champions of all countries? In European Cup is a fixed number of teams per country? Or all the countries have the same number of teams? Or this is dynamic? Sorry for my english.
george07
And why you give so big reputation to all european national leagues? Especially English, Spanish and German leagues... In long term games, the teams from npower Championship will have the same reputation like teams from top division from Russia, Ukraina, Belgium, Greece, Turkey... I don't think this is really ok.
Kenco
The national leagues have dynamic reputation, I've seen their prize money fluctuate over the years. Relegation / promotion is not random and mostly accurate, about 95% of teams go to the correct league but sometimes there are too many for a division so they can get moved about. It's not uncommon to see a few Mediterranean teams end up in the North African Leagues. Others don't have a stadium location with proper co-ordinates, so they don't fall into any regional boundaries and can move around randomly. World Champions Cup is just the Champion of each country in the game. European Cup (and other continental cups) is a fixed number of places based on the nation's starting reputation. Unfortunately, it's not possible to implement the co-efficient system so this is always the same.
Kenco
And why you give so big reputation to all european national leagues? Especially English, Spanish and German leagues... In long term games, the teams from npower Championship will have the same reputation like teams from top division from Russia, Ukraina, Belgium, Greece, Turkey... I don't think this is really ok. I gave all nations a boost to their top or elite division by varying degrees, so that teams on the next tier can still attract decent players. I don't think the npower Championship got a boost (or much of one). Nations outside of Europe got a much bigger boost so they can compete sooner. george07
Ok, national leagues have dynamic reputation, but how about World Leagues reputation? In long term game, World Gold League will still have 5 star reputation (200)? Npower Championship (English third division in game) have 3 star reputation, same like Ukrainian Premier Elite. Surely, the teams from Ukrainian top division should be more reputable than teams from English third division. And for some reasons, I can't see the competitions from North America. Is this a known issue? A big issue is that Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid are included in U19 Champions Cup, but with senior squad. Real Madrid also play in European Cup, but Barcelona and Manchester are not included. Is only in first season? If not, how I can disable the U19 Champions Cup?
Kenco
I'm not sure about the World League reputation to be honest, not checked this. I'm pretty sure the prize money is static so I think reputation is too, which is probably a good thing. Feel free to change competition reputations for your game if you wish. I've always said this database is a personal project and I've set things in a way that suits my game before anyone elses. I do take some ideas from the forums if I feel it would benefit the game but if I took everyone's then I would never get anywhere. I've not heard of any issues around North American competitions. Which ones specifically are you thinking of? I've created new leagues for USA and Canada and a new NACL. The U19 Champions Cup is a bug in FM12 and there was no way around it. Fortunately it only happens during the first season, afterwards it's never played again.
Kenco
Tried to copy this into FM13 but there are way too many failures. Teams move about due to promotions / relegations and for some reason all the World League divisions have disappeared, so I would need to redo them all. My best hope of releasing this for FM13 will be to start from scratch. If I go with the same structure as before then at least that will save a lot of research and testing time but it's still a large project that I don't have time for right now.
