How is he doing for you?

Just won League 2 and he scored 38 goals in 30 appearences, and started League 1 with 3 goals against Derby. Am amazed nobody has come in for him yet!

He was my first choice striker but became unhappy for reasons I can't remember and didn't want to sign a new contract and left on a free for Hartlepool the selfish little so and so. Make sure you keep him tied down and happy and he's a good player with plenty of room for improvement.

Stop press! So he went to Hartlepool and didn't play enough to keep him happy and was only on a one year deal, we got promoted to League 2 and have just snapped him back up.

He has had a very injury hit season for me, still got 16 goals in 20 games though, he has started to show poor morale and making hints that he would like to play for a bigger club, so am looking to off-load him, estimated value is £275000, that would clear my clubs debts, so might not be a bad thing

My Halifax team was struggling toward the bottom end of the table till I made a few signings and Pattinama has been far and away my best signing. Pretty much singlehandedly dragged a frankly poor Halifax team into the playoff places. Scouts rate him to be a leading star for league 1 sides.

Great pace/touch and finishing- rarely has an off day, can score against teams at any level.

Hopefully I can hang on to him for as long as possible!

Dolinajec is actually UK-based even though he has Slovakian nationality. Personally I don't think he is worth bothering with, he's a crap passer and isn't quite physical enough to make up for that deficiency.

murkybongwater..........I have just finished my first season with Wrexham......first of all i would ask your board to get a parent club, try for a team in the Championship if possible. In my game i got Burnley......they sent me this guy on loan for the season:

Just to give a little perspective (and counterpoint to Heathxxx's excellent series of reccomendations), I am playing Harrow Hill (edited into BSN, I have played them many times for FMS, but not writing a story at present with them). The 'Rose of the Forest' is now defunct, but a favorite club of mine from having played them so many times. My editing in means that the club starts with only a roster of youth players- no regular players at all to get rid of- but also is an obscure club with a minimal wage budget. Because of these facts, I am only able to attract 'some' of the worthy mentioned players, but I offer this as a list to compare to Heathxxx's on who might come to the very bottom-most clubs. Playing with England, France (+Reunion), Belgium active and all players from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland- I start the game on Belgium start date to gain a few days of signing freedom.

GK- James Gilpin (Young Scot keeper who is a favorite of mine for lower level clubs- excellent one-on-one and reflexes gives him a chance on my overburdend backline)

DR- Craig Purcell

DL- Thomas Lyskov (Dane speed merchant who is a bit injury prone, but whose speed makes him an impact player at BSN level)

DCR- Chris Rodd (mentioned several times to this point for good reason)

DCL- Ryan Carolan (mentioned before in this thread)

UTIL- Jordan McMillan (can play all spots as cover, but mostly use him to cover fullbacks)

DC- Sean Young

MR- David Cooke

ML- Warren Moon

MCR- Paudie Quinn

MCL- Michael Noone (long-time favorite of mine in lower league play)

MR- Andrew Milne (I use him to cover both wings)

SC- Lacine Cherif (covers midfield role too)

SC- John Kennedy (mentioned before in this thread)

SC- Dean Finnan

I will have more, but this was my initial attempt to have a full squad before the first friendly while my newly hired scouts ferret out the best players for the rest of the squad.
