January 9th: Millwall (A) (25/46)

We struggled to get going in truth and on the 7th minute Millwall had there first chance with a well struck effort but S.Carl Goatsburg diverted the ball wide of the post. Eleven minutes later they had another chance with a great team move which saw them break free of the defence but H.Chaha reacted well to block the effort. On the 26th minute Millwall finally grabbed the lead they deserved as D.Martin ran into the area and curled the ball past H.Chaha who was helpless to save it. Just before the break we had our first chance as A.Anymoredohnuts ran through the defence and fired towards goal but the Millwall keeper saved well.

Half Time Score 1-0

I made a couple of changes to the team at half time with A.Marks and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for G.Bear and A.Anymoredohnuts. Eleven minutes into the half we had the chance to score as S.Stoehr hit a thunderous effort towards goal but the ball clipped the top of the crossbar and went out. On the 62nd minute Millwall came close to grabbing another goal as they broke through the defence but S.Carl Goatsburg blocked the effort. Two minutes later we grabbed the equaliser as A.Marks curled in a great freekick from 30 yards after S.Saville was brought down on the way too goal. On the 69th minute though a rash challenge by B.Arsenal saw Millwall awarded a penalty, D.Martin stepped up for the penalty and sent H.Chaha the wrong way to grab the lead. Twelve minutes later we had our next chance with C.de Bruijn running down the wing and crossing into the area for D.O’Toole who headed just wide of the post. On the 88th minute Millwall had there next chance as they broke the offside trap but H.Chaha reacted well and blocked the effort

Post Match Review: The first half wasn’t great to be truthful but you improved a lot during the second half. We need to get some sort of consistency going lads because at the moment our results are all over the place. The Man of the Match Award will be going to S.Carl Goatsburg who was brilliant in defence

January 16th: Reading (H) (26/46)

We never got going in the first half and within eight minutes Reading had there first chance as they broke down the wing but before they had the chance to shoot S.Carl Goatsburg slid in and cleared the ball. On the 17th minute they had another chance with a rasping effort which had H.Chaha scrambling along the line to block the effort. Seven minute later Reading finally got the opening goal as A.Pearce beat the offside trap and hit an unstoppable effort into the top corner. On the 31st minute we went a further goal down as S.Church ran through the defence with far too much ease and fired past the keeper. On the stroke of half time Reading had another chance as they beat my defence with ease and fired towards goal but H.Chaha reacted well and saved the ball.

Half Time Score 0-2

I made one change at half time with G.Bear coming on for C.de Bruijn. Six minutes into the half Reading had another chance with curling effort which diverted off the backside of S.Carl Goatsburg for a corner, which was easily cleared by the defence. On the 66th minute we were split apart again with a fine team move but luckily for us the final effort was pretty dire and the ball went wide of the post. Six minute later we pulled a goal back as S.Carl Goatsburg headed in a Panpardus corner after A.Anymoredohnuts initial effort was well saved by the Reading keeper. On the 74th minute we grabbed an unlikely equaliser as D.O’Toole ran onto a punt upfield to fire in under the keeper. With seven minute remaining in the game Reading came close to grabbing the three points with a rasping effort which beat the defence but again luckily for us the upright

Post Match Review: Not good at all, we basically fluked the point there. We are now in the second half of the season and it looks like we could be facing a relegation battle. The Man of the Match Award will be going to S.Carl Goatsburg who defended brilliantly to keep the scoreline down and give us the chance of the point

January 23rd: Chelsea (A) FA Cup 4th Round

We started well with D.O’Toole heading in a C.de Bruijn cross in the 4th minute to give the Chelsea keeper no chance of saving. Two minutes later though Chelsea equalised as J.Cole jinked into the area with ease and fired past H.Chaha. On the 19th minute we had our next chance as A.Anymoredohnuts barged into the area and fired towards goal but the Chelsea keeper again saved well. Eleven minutes later Chelsea had another chance as they broke through my defence again with ease but H.Chaha reacted well and saved the ball. With two minutes remaining in the half Chelsea took the lead as E.Cavani fired an unstoppable effort past our keeper after making room for himself just outside the area.

Half Time Score 2-1

At half time I made a couple of changes as G.Spavlachenko and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for M.Kowalski and A.Anymoredohnuts. Eleven minutes into the half we had our next chance as Panpardus sprinted into the area and fired towards goal but the Chelsea keeper again saved well. On the 63rd minute we had another chance as a long ball into the area by C.de Bruijn was headed towards goal by F.F.Tikle-Wok but the ball went just wide of the post. Twelve minutes later we grabbed the equaliser as F.F.Tikle-Wok barged through the defence with ease and fired a powerful effort in off the upright to give the Chelsea keeper no chance of saving. On the 81st minute I made a change with S.Stoehr coming on for attacker D.O’Toole to give us a five man midfield. However with three minutes remaining in the game Chelsea knocked us out of the cup with E.Cavani beating the offside trap and firing under H.Chaha.

Post Match Review: Yes were out of the cup, however I am very pleased with the way you dominated periods of the game. Well done lads, lets carry on this sort of performance and push out the relegation battle. The Man of the Match will be going to C.de Bruijn who was a dominant force in the midfield and caused the Chelsea team no end of trouble

With four minutes remaining in the game the final goal was scored as a miracle happened with G.Spavlachenko running into the area and fired past the Leicester keeper to score his first goal for the club.

January 26th: Nottingham Forest (H) (27/46)

Forest had the first effort of the game as on the 4th minute they broke the offside trap with ease and fired towards goal but M.Kowalski managed to block the effort and divert it wide of the post. Soon after they had another chance with a thunderous effort which was tipped just over the crossbar by H.Chaha. On the 21st minute we had our first real effort as C.de Bruijn crossed into the area but J.Scottlee of Hesselink failed to connect with the ball properly and it skimmed off his head and wide of the post. Three minutes later the first goal was scored as S.Saville placed a great ball onto the head of Panpardus to see the ball fly past the keeper and into the back of the net. On the 38th minute we had another chance as T.Owens humped the ball upfield for D.O’Toole who somehow managed to miss the target from close range. With two minutes remaining in the half Forest had the chance to level the scores with a well struck effort which saw T.Owens diving to clear with his head John Terry style.

Half Time Score 1-0

Ten minutes into the half we doubled the lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink headed in a great freekick from S.Saville after Panpardus was hacked down on the way to goal. Straight after the goal I made a double change as S.Stoehr and F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for Panpardus and D.O’Toole. On the 67th minute we had another chance with J.Scottlee of Hesselink ran onto a C.de Bruijn throughball but his final effort was pretty poor and the ball went wide of the post. Eleven minutes later we had another chance with B.Arsenal curling the ball towards goal from the wing but his effort wouldn’t curl enough and went just wide of the post. On the 89th minute Forest finally had a chance with a bouncing ball into the area but before there attacker had the chance to get to it M.Kowalski lumped it upfield

Post Match Review: Once we got the first goal we seemed to play better. Forest controlled the early part of the game but lads you kept you composure well and didn’t let it worry you. Keep it up lads. The Man of the Match Award will be going Panpardus for an impressive 55 minutes on the pitch which was only ended as a precautionary note due to being hacked down before the second goal

January 30th: Brighton (H) (28/46)

We flew out the blocks and on the 7th minute we grabbed the first goal as A.Marks ran in from the wing and crossed the ball to the head of J.Scottlee of Hesselink however before he had the chance to celebrate the referee blew his whistle for a so called foul on the Brighton defence. Ten minutes later we had another chance as C.de Bruijn tried his luck from outside the area but his effort went just over the crossbar after beating the keeper. On the 29th minute we finally grabbed the lead as Panpardus played the ball perfectly to the feet of J.Scottlee of Hesselink who rounded the keeper and slotted home into an empty net. Twelve minutes later Brighton had the referee to thank again after he ruled out J.Scottlee of Hesselink’s goal out for offside after running onto a Panpardus pass.

Half Time Score 1-0

I made two changes to the team at half time with C.Fantu and D.O’Toole coming on for A.Marks and F.F.Tikle-Wok. Eight minutes into the second half we had our next chance as Panpardus hit a speculative effort from 30 yards which beat the keeper but the curve on the ball took it just wide of the post. On the 69th minute Brighton were awarded a penalty after T.Owens was adjudged harshly to have brought down the Brighton striker, however the Brighton penalty was poorly taken and H.Chaha saved well to deny them the chance of scoring. Five minutes later we doubled our lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink barged through the defence with ease and fired under the Brighton keeper. We were just too strong for the Brighton side and on the stroke of full time we grabbed our final goal as D.O’Toole headed in a Panpardus cross

Hardly Athletic 3 J.Scottlee of Hesselink 29, 74, D.O’Toole 90

Post Match Review: Brilliant lads just brilliant. We would of scored a hat full of goals if it wasn’t for the poor judgement of the referee today. Let’s keep this going lads. We are creeping away from the relegation zone lets keep it that way. The Man of the Match Award was a tough one to call today but I have decided that Panpardus will be getting it for his constant running and general play in the heart of the midfield

February 6th: Portsmouth (A) (29/46)

We began well and on the 4th minute we had the first chance as L.Schnitzel crossed the ball into the area but J.Scottlee of Hesselink failed to connect with the ball and it went out for a throw in. Eleven minutes later we had another chance with a great team move which saw J.Scottlee of Hesselink one on one with the keeper but he fluffed his lines and the ball went stupidly wide of the post. On the 23rd minute Portsmouth had there first chance of the game as they broke down the wing with ease to cross into the area but M.Kowalski rose highest to clear the ball away from goal. Just after the half hour Portsmouth again had another chance as the attacker out paced T.Owens to a long ball but his centre half partner cleared the ball to save his blushes. With two minutes remaining in the half we were awarded a penalty after C.Fantu was brought down in the area, F.F.Tikle-Wok stepped up for the kick and fired towards goal but the Pompey keeper guessed right and saved the ball.

Half Time Score 0-0

I made a couple of changes at half time with S.Stoehr and D.O’Toole coming on for S.Saville and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. On the 51st minute we came close to opening the scoring as D.O’Toole beat the offside trap but before he had the chance to shoot the Portsmouth keeper sprinted out and smothered the ball. Eight minutes later Portsmouth grabbed the lead with a thunderous effort from A.Pelembe which gave H.Chaha no chance to save. The goal seemed to knock the wind out of our sails and Portsmouth started to dominate. On the 75th minute they had another chance with a great run into the area but M.Kowalski timed his challenge to perfection and cleared the ball. M.Kowalski then went berserk at the team for there lack of effort in defending and on the 82nd minute he nearly burst a blood vessel as some more poor team defending saw him having to clear up another attack with a crunching challenge.

Post Match Review: We started well but got far too cocky and Portsmouth made us pay. The second half was one of the worst performances I’ve seen for awhile. Come on lads don’t get dragged back into the relegation battle. The Man of the Match Award will be going to M.Kowalski for giving a captains performance and actually concentrating for the full ninety minutes. Some of you lot need to follow his example

February 9th: Watford (H) (30/46)

Watford came out strongly and on the 12th minute they had the first chance with a well struck effort which rattled the upright but luckily for us went out for a goal kick. Four minutes later Watford went into the lead as a powerful effort from a tight angle clipped H.Chaha and went into the net for an own goal. On the 20th minute though we were given a clear chance to score as C.de Bruijn as brought down in the area for a penalty, D.O’Toole stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way to equalise the game. Nine minutes later we had another chance as C.Fantu ran in from the wing and fired towards goal but his curling effort went just the wrong side of the upright. On the stroke of half time we had another chance as D.O’Toole ran onto a C.de Bruijn throughball but his effort was well saved by the keeper.

Half Time Score 1-1

I made a couple of changes to the team at half time with S.Stoehr and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for A.Marks and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. Eight minutes into the half Watford came close to grabbing the lead with a great team move which was thwarted by a perfectly timed M.Kowalski challenge. On the 69th minute Watford again came close with a thunderous effort which was acrobatically tipped over the crossbar by H.Chaha. Eleven minutes later we had our next chance as S.Stoehr barged into the area and fired towards goal but the Watford keeper saved well to deny him. On the 84th minute we were awarded another penalty after S.Saville’s thunderous was handled in the area by the Watford defence, D.O’Toole stepped up for the kick and fired towards goal but the Watford keeper saved it with ease. However straight from the clearance S.Stoehr intercepted the ball and threaded it too the feet of D.O’Toole who wasted no time in sending us into the lead. Our joy was short lived though as on the stroke of full time Watford grabbed the equaliser as D.Philliskirk headed in past H.Chaha after we poorly defended a high corner

February 16th: Preston (H) (32/46)

Eight minutes into the game we took the lead as A.Marks crossed into the area and J.Scottlee of Hesselink headed past the keeper. On the 17th minute we had another chance with Panpardus running onto a F.F.Tikle-Wok pass but his effort went just wide of the post, Six minutes later Preston came close as they broke through defence with ease and fired towards goal but G.Burgess reacted well to save the ball. On the 34th minute we doubled the lead as B.Arsenal ran down the wing and crossed in for F.F.Tikle-Wok who brilliantly volleyed past the diving keeper. Just before the break we had a clear cut chance as F.F.Tikle-Wok was brought down in the area, A.Marks stepped up for the penalty and fired towards the goal but the Preston keeper guessed right and saved the ball.

Half Time Score 2-0

I made a couple of changes to the team at half time as C.de Bruijn and D.O’Toole coming on for G.Spavlachenko and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. On the 54th minute we had our next chance with C.de Bruijn running in from the wing and firing a low cross into the area but Panpardus failed to connect with the ball and it went out. Eleven minutes later S.Saville tried his luck from 20 yards but the ball wouldn’t dip enough and went over the crossbar. Preston were getting nothing of the ball and on the 79th minute we should of grabbed another goal but F.F.Tikle-Woks thunderous effort was tipped onto the upright. With a minute remaining in the game we were awarded another penalty after F.F.Tikle-Woks effort was handled in the area, D.O’Toole stepped up for the penalty and fired in past the keeper.

Post Match Review: A great performance as we dominated a poor Preston side. Everyone played brilliantly which makes the Gaffer happy, well done guys. The Man of the Match will be going to F.F.Tikle-Wok who deserved a lot more than the one goal he got as he battered the Preston defence

Six minutes into the game we had our first chance as D.O’Toole sprinted into the area and fired under the Rotherham however the ball bobbled out off the upright. On the 18th minute we had another chance as Panpardus tried his luck from outside the area but the ball didn’t dip enough and it went just over. Just before the break Rotherham came close with a curling effort which was diverted wide of the post by T.Owens.

Half Time Score 0-1

I made one change to the team at half time with C.Fantu coming on for A.Marks. Eight minutes into the half we had our next chance as Panpardus curled the ball into the area but D.O’Toole failed to connect with cross and the ball went out for a throw in. On the 58th minute I made another change with S.Stoehr coming on for J.Scottlee of Hesselink. The change paid dividends as three minutes later S.Stoehr fired in a great long range effort to give the Rotherham keeper no chance of saving. On the 77th minute we had the chance to kill the game off as Panpardus ran through the Rother ham defence and rounded the keeper but somehow managed to fire wide of the post in from of the empty net. With eight minutes remaining in the game Rotherham pulled a goal back as J.Sheridan headed in a bullet header from six yards after G.Burgess flapped at a simple corner. Post Match Review: A damn good performance as we controlled virtually the whole game. If it wasn’t for some great goalkeeping by the Rotherham keeper we would have won by a more comfortable margin. The Man of the Match Award will be going to Panpardus who ran the midfield without breaking a sweat

I made two changes to the team at half time with C.Fantu and S.Stoehr coming on for Panpardus and D.O’Toole. Four minutes into the half United were reduced to ten men after D.Bennett was sent off for a second yellow card. Just before the hour United levelled the scores as R.McCormack ran in from the wing and curled the ball with ease past G.Burgess who was alittle slow to react. April 4th: Wigan (H) (41/46)

Before the game the physio informed me that C.Fantu is back in full training and ready for first team action.

We started brilliantly and on the 7th minute we took the lead as D.O’Toole ran through the defence with ease and fired under the body of the Wigan keeper. Soon after we came close again as S.Saville threaded the ball to the feet of Panpardus who fired well wide of the post. On the 28th minute we had the next chance of the game as C.de Bruijn crossed into the area but D.O’Toole headed just wide of the post. Seven minutes later Wigan had the chance to open there account with a curling effort which had G.Burgess at full stretch to save. With five minutes remaining in the half we doubled our lead as S.Saville was brought down in the area after he jinked in from the wing, D.O’Toole stepped up for the penalty and fired it with power under the diving keeper.

Half Time Score 2-0

During the interval I made a couple of changes as S.Stoehr and F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for C.de Bruijn and D.O’Toole. Four minutes into the half we added another goal as F.F.Tikle-Wok ran onto a S.Saville throughball and dinked the ball over the onrushing keeper. Straight from kick off T.Owens intercepted the ball and punted the ball up the field and A.Marks hit a thunderous freekick past the outstretched arms of the Wigan keeper. On the 67th minute we had yet another chance as S.Saville curled the ball into the area and F.F.Tikle-Wok headed just over the crossbar. With eight minutes remaining in the game Wigan grabbed a goal back as O.Sa jinked through our defence with ease and fired past G.Burgess who was pretty slow to react to the effort

Post Match Review: A brilliant performance again as we never gave Wigan a sniff of the ball. I have no real complaints regarding anyone’s performance and I want this to carry on. The Man of the Match Award will be going to S.Saville who was the pick of the bunch

April 6th: Crystal Palace (A) (42/46)

Six minutes into the game we opened the scoring as G.Bear somehow managed to divert the ball past H.Chaha to give Palace the lead. On the 19th minute we came close to losing another goal as they broke down the wing and crossed in but luckily for us M.Kowalski cleared the ball. Twelve minutes later Palace grabbed another goal as R.Walker jinked into the area and rounded H.Chaha to slot home into the empty net. On the stroke of half time we conceded another goal as A.N’Diaye headed past our keeper after the defence failed to deal with a simple ball.

Half Time Score 3-0

I made two changes to the team as S.Carl Goatsburg and C.Fantu came on for L.Schnitzel and A.Marks. Eight minutes into the half Palace added another goal as K.Broadfoot curled in a brilliant freekick from 30 yards after M.Kowalski brought down the attacker on the way to goal. On the 69th minute we finally had our first chance as D.O’Toole jinked through the area and fired towards goal but the Palace keeper saved well. With seven minutes remaining in the game Palace had the final chance of the game as they broke through the defence again and fired under H.Chaha but the ball luckily for us bobbled wide of the post

April 9th: Middlesbrough (A) (43/46)

We began well and on the 12th minute we took the lead as Panpardus threaded the ball to the feet of D.O’Toole who wasted no time in firing it past the Boro keeper. However after the goal Boro upped there game and on the 26th minute they equalised the game with a brilliantly curling effort from M.Derbyshire which gave G.Burgess no chance of saving. Six minutes later it was 2-1 as S.McDonald beat the offside trap with ease and rounded G.Burgess to slot home into the empty net. On the 43rd minute we had our next chance to score as G.Spavlachenko curled a great cross into the area for D.O’Toole who headed just wide of the post.

Half Time Score 2-1

I made one change to the team at half time with S.Carl Goatsburg coming on for T.Owens who seemed to be struggling with the pace of the game. Ten minutes into the half we grabbed the equaliser as G.Spavlachenko crossed the ball into the area for J.Scottlee of Hesselink to head over the Boro keeper. On the 63rd minute I made another change to the team as F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for D.O’Toole. Eleven minutes later though we were reduced to ten after L.Schnitzel was sent off for a second yellow card. On the 76th minute we took the lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink ran through the defence and dinked the ball over the onrushing Boro keeper. Two minutes later I made my final change as S.Stoehr came on for J.Scottlee of Hesselink and change the formation to a 3-5-1. On the stroke of full time we had one last chance as C.de Bruijn tried his luck from outside the area with a stinking effort which the keeper flapped at but noone was there to tap in the loose ball

Post Match Review: A poor game in truth as we kept giving possession away far too easily. However when we were reduced to ten men we seemed to play better. Lads lets see an improvement for the last few games. The Man of the Match Award will be going to G.Spavlachenko who attacked and defended well

April 11th: Injury news sees M.Wilson out of action for around 2-3 weeks after straining his groin in training also we will be without the services of Captain M.Kowalski for around 5-6 weeks after fracturing his wrist

Six minutes later they had another chance with a thunderous effort which was diverted over by T.Owens. On the 33rd minute Cardiff had yet another chance to score with there attack beating G.Spavlachenko to a simple ball but G.Burgess again reacted well to block the effort.

Half Time Score 0-0

I made a couple of changes to the team at half time with S.Stoehr and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for C.de Bruijn and D.O’Toole. Nine minutes into the half we took the lead with our first real effort as A.Marks curled a freekick into the area and J.Scottlee of Hesselink headed in past the keeper. April 23rd: Leeds United (A) (45/46)

A great start saw us go a goal up within the first two minutes as D.O’Toole hit a thunderous effort from 30 yards after the midfield kept on backing away from him. On the 27th minute we had another chance to score with J.Scottlee of Hesselink heading towards goal from a B.Arsenal cross but the Leeds keeper saved well. Eight minutes later we had yet another chance as A.Marks tried his luck from just inside the area but the Leeds keeper diverted it wide of the post, from the resulting corner we came close again as D.O’Toole headed straight into the keepers arms from a Panpardus cross.

Half Time Score 0-1

I made two changes at halftime with C.Fantu and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for C.de Bruijn and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. Twelve minutes later Leeds equalised with D.Ball rising above T.Owens to head in past G.Burgess. On the 77th minute Leeds again came close as we failed to deal with a simple ball but G.Burgess again reacted well and saved the effort.

May 1st: West Bromwich Albion (H) (46/46)

We didn’t get going at all and on the 16th minute West Brom had the first chance with a curling effort which had G.Burgess at full stretch to save. Eight minutes later we came close to losing the opening goal with a rasping effort from the edge of the area but the ball was diverted wide by T.Owens. On the 37th minute West Brom had the ball in the back of the net as they broke through the defence but the goal ruled out for a foul in the build up. Deep into first half injury time West Brom finally grabbed the lead as R.Mak headed in from close range after G.Spavlachenko failed to clear a simple cross.

Half Time Score 1-0

I made one change at half time with D.O’Toole coming on for A.Marks, I also changed the formation to a 4-3-3. Eight minutes into the half West Brom had another chance as they broke down my defence with ease and fired towards goal but G.Burgess saved well. On the 65th minute we came close to equalising the game as D.O’Toole ran onto a Panpardus throughball but the effort went well wide of the post. Nine minutes later C.de Bruijn crossed into the area for J.Scottlee of Hesselink but the ball was easily saved by the keeper. With four minutes remaining in the game West Brom doubled there lead as they countered one of our attacks and R.Mak finished the effort off with a rasping effort past G.Burgess. On the 88th minute we pulled a goal back as J.Scottlee of Hesselink rose above the defence to head in a C.de Bruijn cross however it was too little too late.

West Bromwich Albion 2 R.Mak 45+1, 86

Post Match Review: Not the way to end the League season as we just didn’t perform. However due to other results we have managed to keep hold of our Playoff Spot. We need to really up our game if we are to progress to the Playoff final. The Man of the Match Award will be going to Panpardus who tried in vain to get the team going

May 2nd: We will be facing Crystal Palace in the Playoff Semi Final, the first leg will played at home

May 3rd: G.Bear will be out of action for a few days after getting food poisoning

May 8th: Crystal Palace (H) Championship Playoff Semi Final 1st Leg

Palace came out the better and on the 7th minute they came close to opening the scoring as they broke through the defence but G.Burgess reacted well to save the ball. Eleven minutes later they came close to grabbing the lead as a slip by C.de Bruijn saw the attack running towards goal but S.Carl Goatsburg slid in and cleared the ball. On the 35th minute we had our first chance as F.F.Tikle-Wok ran onto a S.Saville throughball but the effort was pretty poor and the ball went well wide of the post. With three minute remaining in the half Palace broke clear of the defence again but G.Burgess sprinted out and smothered the ball at the feet of the attacker.

Half Time Score 0-0

The second half was six minutes old when Palace had another chance with a thunderous effort which had G.Burgess at full stretch to tip round the post. On the 59th minute I made a double change as C.Fantu and D.O’Toole came on for S.Saville and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. Ten minutes later we came close to taking an undeserved lead as B.Arsenal crossed into the area but F.F.Tikle-Wok failed to connect with the cross and the ball went out. On the 77th minute Palace had the next chance to score as a long ball upfield was volleyed past G.Burgess and luckily for us past the upright.

Post Match Review: We are very lucky not to be out of this tie. Come on lads to me it looks like your not bothered about getting into the Premiership. I will be looking for a much better performance in the next game. The Man of the Match Award will be going to G.Burgess who has kept us in this tie

I'm sorry I'm not there to lead you on the field boys. You can do this.

I'd play through this injury for a shot at the prem but I can't. I need you guys to go out there and get us into this final.

Don't let me down, don't let the gaffer down, don't let the fans down, but most of all - don't let yourselves down.

A fat pie muncher once said 'we don't do walking away'... just before almost everyone at the club walked away! Let's show him a club that really doesn't do walking away... Hardly Athletic!
