Does this work WITH the cromscott 6 update i have or does it include all the data in that? Basically can i delete that file and just have this file.

Just tested this and no i cant run both, as it will duplicate many of the youth that have been added.

I prefer the youth that have been added with Cromscott's update, for instance Raheem Sterling on Cromscott's has a higher value and an image yet your version of him has lesser attribute and no image. Perhaps the attributes being reduced is a good thing, as i always thought that Cromscott would be unreasonably biased towards the 14 year olds he introduced into the game, leading them to go on to be the stars of the future which was unrealistic and boring. So your youth seem to be better however i would appreciate if you could add all the images that Cromscott had, this may perhaps be because of the facepack he made which i downloaded, if the link in the original post is to a facepack which would work with your youth set up then i appologise, but thanks for this!

@Jamie- I went through most of the 14 year olds and dropped their CAs because I felt they were overrated. For example, at Man Utd, Tyler Blackett at the age of 15 had a higher CA than Sean McGinty, who is now 17 and had an absolutely superb season in our U18s last year. I know age is no measure of ability but when some of these 14/15 year old additions are the best players in your U18s team in-game then there is a problem. The facepack in the original post should work for this update.

No probs. I also happen to have a hell of a lot of spare time due to now being an ex-student :D

As for the 25 man rule, as you probably know it auto comes into effect 2nd season in-game. I've been experimenting and the best I'd be able to do would be to add the homegrown rules but not the squad sizes because if you set it 25 in the editor, then you can only assign squad numbers 1-25. However to do this I'd have to recreate all the leagues in the nation rules. If a better solution can be found I'll add it in but as of now it's not going to be in. New update out tomorrow evening due to birthday on Thursday and then going away Friday-Monday.

Edit: macimate- just seen your post, as you can see in the text above, then yes the update is out tomorrow. I didn't do the facepack, CromScott did that and I'm not much of a facepack creator, so unless someone here is willing to take up the mantle for that, then link in the OP will probably be it for now.

If you decide to recreate those nation rules, you could best use an entirely new file to work from, instead of your update file. First of all, if you mess something up, you don't have to do all your transfers again. Second reason is that if someone wants to use any league update, they won't collide with your work, as people can choose to use your England file or any other league file.

When do you release your update? Pls put a link after my posts.

I will be releasing tonight at approx 11pm, when the Sky Sports transfer clockwatch shuts for the night. I usually release on Thursday nights around the same time but got my 18th tomorrow and then I'm at a music festival Friday-Monday so I'm releasing 24 hours early.

Thanks, and i 100% agree with this move :) i'll be away in a few days so will probably just download the latest update when im back in two weeks when hopefully liverpool will have a new owner and lots of money ;)

Also, I want to echo everyone else's comments and say great job, mate, I started doing one of my own until I saw this, the addition of the new youth players was what sold me the most. Fantastic effort.
