Fav 10+3 of what I will always remember about them(not in particular order)

- Cantona's erected collar

- Beckham's 50 yard goal againt Wimbledon!

- Ronaldo's pace with flair

- Rooney's passion

- Huges's volley/chip againt Liverpool at OT

- Schmeichel's shouting at Brucey and Pallister

- Ince's overhead against Norwich in the 4-0 game

- Ole's that goal

- Giggs's debut season(even though we lost it to Leeds)

- Kan Kan's pace without flair

- Lee Martin's goal against Crystal Palace

- Mark Robin's Ole-ness before there was Ole

- Jesper Bromquist's really long sleeves over his hands

Worst 5

- Cole's performance in the last game of "that" season againt West Ham at OT

- Veron's performance in most of his Premiership appearrance

- KR's hair in his debut season...oh and his ability as well

- Stamp's falling out with Fergie...not that I blame him but you know he could have behaved better. Imagine what would have happened if he didn't release his book!

- Cole's performance in the last game of "that" season againt West Ham at OT(I can't let it go man, crazy!)

Wow, really good call for the worst player list! I'd totally forgotten about him. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

It's least favourite, not necessarily the worst remember.

Different times back then. Homo-hair crappy hairstyle was a thing of the era, nowadays it's not. We have other crappy hairstyles now icon_smile.gif

So, what do people think of Gudjohnsen? Seem to be a load of reports suddenly, and he's said he'd like to join if we tried to buy him.

Didn't realise hes only 29, but I reckon £9 millions a bit much for him.

I don't like him and i never considered him good enough for the top clubs.

What, top clubs like Chelsea and Barca ? And now possibly us ?

Obviously not good enough, or he wouldn't have been considered. icon14.gif

Pffft Barca. They have Marquez in defence and they actually think he is good, or Thiago Motta for what, holding midfielder?

And Saviola owned him this season as well. I'd rather have Saviola than Eidur.

These stories that Man Utd have payed too much for Nani according to the Chelsea scout Piet de Visser are really starting to do my head in now. Who are they to talk, like they've never payed over the odds for anyone - most of their first team excluding Cech/Ballack they payed far more than market value for icon_rolleyes.gif

Why do you bother listening to them? hehe

It's they time to talk because all they are getting now are freebies for squad depth. Most probably next season they'll start splaing 50mil per player again.

Middlesbrough are believed to have made enquiries for Alan Smith and James Beattie.

With that the North East club are looking elsewhere and are understood to have made a bid for an 'England international', and that player is reported to be Smith.

It is not yet known whether Smith will be leaving Manchester United, but the former Leeds man seems unlikely to be offered a new deal and he has admitted that he will consider his options.

Middlesbrough are just one club thought to have shown an interest with Sunderland, Everton, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Rangers also linked.
