Hello everyone, I have a small problem with the "Board takoever" command, I managed to start my owner with FMRTE but it is not the owner that I put in the edt file which takes over the club . Is the edt file solution still valid or did I do it wrong ?:kriss:

Anyone know of a way to rename reserve sides using LNC files? Got an MLB database where each team has Reserves, U21's and U18's. I wanting to change the names of these to each teams MiLB team. i.e. Arizona Diamondbacks Reserves --> Reno Aces etc

These are the game generated Reserve, U21 and U18 teams, not a separate club with an affiliation link

Each team has a unique ID but my current LNC file isnt making the required changes

The only way if a reserve team is generated during a game, in my opinion, is to open the LNC file while the game is already open. So, if you have already started the game, then fire up the ID skin in the options and enter this ID code in the line to create the club name change. I also have an idea, namely if you have a team name change and a team short name change created in the LNC file, the latter change should dictate the conditions of the name of the reserve club if it is created during the game

For example, if the Arizona Diamondbacks are *create reserve team* (and you can check this in the editor), then it should be enough to change the club name and change the short club name before creating the game. Then, even though the reserve team will be put, it will "inherit" the names from the first team

Very interesting, good find! Especially for long saves, with historic players who have passed through the club we are at.

In which file exactly would they go? And if I may, in what source did you find them? I ask because, perhaps, we have other codes to be discovered and we have no idea.

Think it was in one of the past versions when I was having a root around, but it should be in or goes in the steamapps\common\Football Manager\data\db\version\edt folder and the file was called edt fixes  - guessing si just sent a patch out at the time. also the game will offer you the chance to retire a shirt number for a current legend, I think its after 10 years service plus a testimonial match.
