TPA
Don't know if I should laugh or cry but I just noticed that from my last 11 games in only one game I've got a goal scored by a striker. I'm not talking about random goal-drought of a single player - I have 3 strikers that I rotate in 4-4-2. Of course all of them have suffered from periods when they can't seem to score - but I don't remember that happening to all my strikers at the same time before! So, am I having the most efficient strikers ever or do you have similar experiences? Needless to say they are all up for sale now ... :-)
BaritoneStu
My top striker from last season is now on 1700 minutes without a goal... :-(
Chongtom
Got to the Premier League and in 5 games i have conceded 8 and scored 1. Often we have the CCC not the opposition

ism-scfc
It happens sometimes, yet it can also work the other way round I normally struggle terribly for goals, yet last season my strikers fired me to promotion with 61 goals between them
jackripper
not bobby zamora by any chance?
ism-scfc
not bobby zamora by any chance? no, Gary Hooper and an Irish regen called Shane Scully. Zamora was my third choice striker, but I released him after promotion

khriztian
Your strikers may have very low consistency, that is a common problem with regens plus the fact that consistency in FM2010 barely improves in a players career.
soccer_
When I go Liverpool i have to play torres as an inside forward on the wing cause i just cant get him to play well as a striker.. ive tried everything
BaritoneStu
Well my striker who hadn't scored for 1700 minutes just scored 6 in 4 games, so perhaps he reads the forums and was shamed...

ism-scfc
i play with wingers on 10.2 and my strikers banged them in This. To say that strikers don't score when you play with wingers is nothing short of ridiculous
brod_104
Had an odd scenario with Torres in 2010/11 season with my Liverpool save - he didn't score in any competition except the Champions League final from mid-February onwards, and still finished as the Premier League's top scorer with 24 goals. What an awesome first half of the season he had!
ManUTactician247
no, Gary Hooper and an Irish regen called Shane Scully. Zamora was my third choice striker, but I released him after promotion You're the one who started that thread about drama at Wembley, last time I checked Hooper scored a 30-yarder and Scully scored as well and you're putting them up for sale, I'd keep them if I were you Anyway, if they're low on confidence praise them in the media
