baker.simon
He must of been born there before it split or whatever happened over there.. I'm 13 I don't know the history Well no, because that would mean some of the older players still playing for the likes of Russia would still be USSR. Or players from Ukraine, Belarus etc etc.
ArsenalFan7
Well no, because that would mean some of the older players still playing for the likes of Russia would still be USSR. Or players from Ukraine, Belarus etc etc. Oh yeah.. Well IDK then
jld123
Well no, because that would mean some of the older players still playing for the likes of Russia would still be USSR. Or players from Ukraine, Belarus etc etc. He might only have caps for the USSR. Although that doesn't explain his high level of knowledge of the Soveit Union! Misodoctakleidist
He might only have caps for the USSR. Although that doesn't explain his high level of knowledge of the Soveit Union! Since he appears to be the only Soviet citizen in the game, it must just mean that he has 100% knowledge of himself.
bluemoon1992
Tbf he is quite a good coach
Hershie
Anatoliy Vasilyovich Demyanenko (Ukrainian: Анатолiй Васильович Дем'яненко, born February 19, 1959 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian football coach and former football defender. He is currently a free agent. Data forum. I imagine it already says that in his place of birth?
Misodoctakleidist
His place of birth is indeed listed as Dnipropetrovsk (Ukraine). It also lists Ukrainian as his other nationality. He is listed as a Soviet national in the 10.2 database when I check in the editor too so I assume this must be some sort of data issue.
White Flag
Capped 80 times for the USSR, not for Ukraine or Russia. Nationality shows that in which the player has been capped, which explains it. Still a bit strange though.
bigdanio
Kanchelskis had caps for the USSR and then he played for Ukraine
Misodoctakleidist
Kanchelskis had caps for the USSR and then he played for Ukraine Actually he played for Russia. All the USSR players were given the choice to play for their home country or for Russia.
Frame
Has anyone else seen this? I saw it and reported it in the data forums before the release of the latest patch. I guess they didn't see it.
Edle
ha that is quite comical
kristof1983
Capped 80 times for the USSR, not for Ukraine or Russia. Nationality shows that in which the player has been capped, which explains it. Still a bit strange though. If this is the working theory then there would be alot of Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian etc who have the former Yugoslavia listed as their nationality because they only played for yugoslavia or East Germany/West Germany for same reason
Tele Santana
I am more curious towards what means exactly his deep scouting knowledge of Soviet Union...all the former territories (current countries)?
kristian444
I remember looking in the 2009 database there were a couple of Soviets; and a few from Great Britain rather than England, Scotland or wherever. A bit silly of SI tbh. Actually, I'm sure one of them was a player. Would he just stay as 'Great Britain' until he got capped?
DanGLiverpool
Haha saw this in beta testing and reported it, there were a few more than there are now, just this soul left Maybe he wants to be Soviet?
JiggyDempsey
Looked him up and tried to sign him, not interested. I'm current European Champions you bastard, sign for me!!! LOL
Tom14
Was tempted to try make the tired stereotype of appointing him as a scout cos he would have a good spy attribute
