Selling important players already in their 30's

Hi there,

If you have a chance to sell a 1st team player who's already declining for the double or more of his current price, would you do it?

With out a doubt yes. If someone is bidding double value on any of my players I'm selling. I'm all about the youth though and always manage smaller teams and you would expect me to sell.

Absolutely Yes.

Yes. The only exception being if it's a player on the level of Messi/Ronaldo who can't be replaced at any price

He really is a very good player, but is such a good offer from PSG. I will think for a little while.

He’s a superb player! But yes that kind of money at that age is a bit of a no brainer

The only time I make an exception is if it's a player that I like (for sentimental reasons) and want to keep at the club either until retirement/just to keep him a one club man, and the offer is low.

 

5m for a 200k valued 34 year old legend? No can do. Til death (retirement) do us part, my boy.

Id sell him, if you keep him his value will drop, sell and reinvest the money.
