m_fenton Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 I've played FM for years, but for some reason I'm really struggling on this version (and not finding it fun for the first time I can remember). My league form so far (with Cambridge in the Conference): D W W W D D W W D L W L W D W D W (26 goals scored by this point of the season) L L L L L D D L (29 goals scored by this point, only 3 from the last 8 games which have been 2x corners and 1x penalty) My striker who scored 6 in his first 6 games hasn't scored since and is still my top goal scorer. We hit the woodwork at least once a game, score an offside goals every other game, but otherwise seem to have completely capitulated. If I tell my players passionately to give the fans a performance they are "confused and demotivated", if I tell them to play without pressure they think I'm unprofessional and switch off.
