Yeah this is something thats sadly happened as i've been really busy with work. But planning an update. At first my focus was on the BPL and i think thats quite obvious in my update, but planning a huge overhaul of this!

Hi Fausto! extract it then copy/cut the 'Schmeichels FM 2007 Update' folder to your ...\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db folder and you should be able to select it then as another database when you load FM07.

Guys it seems as if people are having issue when extracting this db and then getting it to run. Is there anything i can do to make it easier for you guys?

If you could show some screenshots of what the files pasted in the proper folders look like and the selection of the database screen when starting FM07, that would be great.

No it's not working. Is this an update for default version or some newer patched version FM 2007?

No, its for the last update that was available for FM 2007 which was 7.0.2

Despite me putting this in the right folder the game just doesn't recognise the database in the latest download? Neither does the editor.

Unfortunately I seem to suffer the same problem.

Edit: solved. Name the folder Schmeichels FM 2007 Update, it will find it.

The .xml file name didn't match the folder name.

There is no XML file in the most recent zip file mate.

Not sure about that. I downloaded the most recent .zip file, I unzipped it and there was an .xml file inside the folder. In fact the database works for me, mate.

Hey man! Ah i was only contemplating doing a 92-93 database the other day for FM20. Brought in Rothmans 92-93 & 94 books for reference haha. Havent started yet as im loving playing FM21 currently. Have you dabbled?
