Homegrown Status

Does it bug anyone else that it is there constantly through a season, hiding other important statuses?

Surely at the start of the season is enough?

I'm playing as Newcastle at the moment and this info is totally irrelevant.

Anyone else?

Why was this changed from 09? That was done fine.

New rules brought in for the Football League.

I think I'll remove the FL homegrown rules using the editor, as they don't actually affect anyone and just mean the status gets in the way.

This is bugging me too. It's stopping me from being able to quickly see which of my players have issues, which are transfer listed, etc. I also am managing a championship club, so homegrown status is not something which is really relevant. It's bl**dy annoying!!!

Is there a way this can be fixed without having to mess with the data editor?

Edit: For those that havent done so yet, I suggest you co-sign the following linked thread in the bugs forum so that you can let people know there is a problem.

There is a workaround..

With customisable columns, you can now replace the single Inf status column with the multiple Full Player Status column instead.

Here are the steps to follow to achieve this:

1) {Right-click} over the table header

2) Select the "Customise Current View" menu option

3) Find the "Player Status" field in the left panel

4) Select it, and then press [Add]

5) Press [Ok]

6) Move the column to wherever you'd like it located by dragging the column header across the screen

To remove the "Inf" column as it's redundant in this scenario, simply {right-click} over its table header column and select the "Remove this Column" menu option.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO SAY THE HOME-GROWN RULE IS NOT RELEVANT IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Every team's 16 man matchday squad must contain 4 Home Grown players

I hope you have found this helpful. All the best.
