wazza
In every series of FM I always start with the intention of having a career game, starting at the club I support. However, I never want to leave the club I support due to my affiliation with them nor do I get sacked. So this year I have decided that I am NOT going to be tempted to go this way and am contemplating starting with another team and hope to take over the club I support later in my career. I cannot decide which way to go though, so will put it to the forum vote 1). Start at the club I support. 2). Start unemployed. 3). Start at Celtic. 4) Start at Rangers. . Please vote on what I should do.
Robin_ellis_19
2. Why didn't you make it poll thread?
leedsnproud
I have the same problem when I'm Leeds, get them into Champions League and can't leave. So now I'm gonna leave when I get there, for Stevenage, who I follow cause they're local to me but can still leave.

Freagle
As an Arsenal supporter I would definitely go for Hull. More challenging, fun and interesting to see how your plans pan out. As an added bonus you would do all Arsenal fans a huge favor of knocking out circus Brown as manager. No offense
CelticPat1888
if you want to work without being able to make any transfers then go rangers as they are hundereds of millions in debt and wont be buying any new players in the next few seasons! in fact, they havent signed a player for over a year IRL. as a celtic fan i will grudgingly say they have some good young players such as fleck, thomson, davis and naismith.. walsh
the SPL is certainly not a challenge with either of the old firm so that would be quite pointless imo

finternet
Why not be one of the medium sized teams in the SPL- Hibs, Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee United- and see if you can achieve success with them? Much more interesting than being either of the old firm any way.
