  1. Well said, and on that note, thread closed before we get any more silly posts that have to be removed.
  2. If you want a technical director type set up, the option exists in game, you can literally set it all up that way, there's loads of depth and options on that front. Re match, i think people largely underestimate how much you can replicate from current football, though its not perfect
  3. This. Closing the thread, please do not create anymore
  4. This is factually incorrect. SI have previously stated the effect is minor and lasts for approximately 5 or so minutes. They arent going to nerf it because there's nothing to nerf.
  5. Yeah the impact of team talk isnt very big and it doesnt last very long at all
  6. Unfortunately a lesson in the risks of using a beta platform.
  7. It will almost certainly be this way. In the same way that mens football is based on professional/semi etc and not factoring in Joe bloggs on the street
  8. This will be a crap answer so apologies, but the answer is: it depends on the scope of SI's use. It's a very good question than I'm sure they will try to answer as early as possible. What I would say is when you consider just how low the current specs are, a decent jump is likely
  9. When the AI starts hammering users harder than ever I don't want to hear any complaints
  10. well said. There are loads of niche features and leagues that many don't use in the game. No one bats an eyelid. Women's football gets mentions and some lose their minds. I'm sure it's just a coincidence though. Like many other features/leagues in the game, people don't have to use it. But it's telling on those people how much this particular feature is one they beat on.
  11. I think a lot of it would have been wanting to communicate, but for whatever reasons not being in a position to, whether its the nature of secrecy needed, or some things just not being a place to be confirmed. At least the delay in communication has meant quit significant reveals and crucially signposting more communication to come.
  12. The one thing I'd probably say to everyone is, they probably won't be able to answer the vast majority of your questions, not yet anyway. That's not to say they aren't worth leaving, as it will no doubt be useful
  13. The best thing about this announcement is the lead up time to FM25. Gives plenty of people on lower powered machines fair warning to move on up.
  14. I mean this isn't true. There's loads of variation and you definitely don't need to tall and direct to get success. @Rashidi alone has made dozens of different successful play styles. Whether people are good enough or understand enough create different styles is a different debate
  15. Exactly this. Ultimately, SI do want to balance this. And this is something that's often ignored in the various demands - SI will also have their own plans and ideas. Some people might not care about a balanced ecosystem between user and AI but they do, and it underpins what they do, so they aren't going to build stuff the AI can't use.
  16. @wazzaflow10 it's actually even more simple than that. There's no point creating a Stones role if the AI can't "use" it. Thats the really hard bit.
  17. Contradictory points aside, nothing can be built with the user in a vacuum. It has to work for the AI as well and it has to be dynamic. Sometimes simplyfing gets you more depth, which AI is much better then when it was WIBWOB. The key now is to keep pushing that so more complexity and dynamism can be added.
  18. I think this thread is a good example of why people shouldn't assume stuff tbh. Ultimately you have to have a system that the AI can use, and one it can use dynamically, because the whole system needs to work, not just one for the user. Which is why they continually develop the AI. Which is considerably easier said than done. As for the investment, the ME/AI is probably the biggest it's been been with the most funding it's had. And developing a multi year project that has yearly releases means some things will have incremental improvements until its "done" and you see a large jump
  19. What Xaw said. And I definitely forsee a point as things evolve, the licencing getting more and more complex. The fact that there are so many "workarounds" shows how SI will try and give users scope where possible without making it too obvious
  20. Notice I said how you manage them, It's not just about training, but recovery and rotation. If i was picking up many injuries, especially in training, i'd be looking at my tactical intensity and how that goes with my training demands and rotation/recovery style.
  21. The fact that no other team in your league is having the same issue should be telling you something about how you manage your players. Adjusting the rate of training issues was never about stopping lot of injuries if a squad isn't looked after.
  22. Given then user has replayed the game anyway, we can close this. Not entirely sure why the thread was made in the first place but I don't think there's much to be gained from leaving it open.
  23. Closing this thread as frankly it's a car crash. When people decide to be even vaguely constructive it might be reopened
