  1. There's a feedback thread for feedback and a request section for requests
  2. First thing to point out is that its not simply a rebrand of defend narrow defend wide. Note that you have two different instructions for your engagement. Trap inside/out is about how they shape to funnel, and invite crosses/prevent crosses influences engagement. There's no answer other than it depends on you're trying to do with your defensive setup. They can a do a job on their own or in tandem with opposition instructions to funnel the opposition where you want. For example I play a 4231 with an aggressive counterpress, I use trap inside with OIs to force the defence back inside to my front 6, which forces a lot of turnovers very high up the pitch. You can make some very clever pressing traps with a combination of your out possession instructions and your OIs.
  3. As discussed back on page 2 it's pseudo knowledge. It has no access to, and therefore no context of the match engine. Much like when someone asked it to build a tactic based on Sir Alex Ferguson. It would be useful for generating text flavour. But not as an information tool in FM.
  4. Yeah I'm struggling to even understand what the issue is tbh. Are people still honestly suggesting GKs are bad, but only when it's their team?
  5. I'm not closing rank, i only speak for myself so don't accuse people of anything. I'm simply not going to offer help to someone who repeatedly doesn't want to listen then accuses me of being dismissive.
  6. I'm done. I've spent multiple threads trying to help you, and the only person being dismissive here is you. There's a reason you go through the same issues and others don't. If it was a uniform problem everyone would have the same issues but they don't. Good luck with your frustrations.
  7. If you're getting your attackers on the ball enough they're going to get good ratings. If you're aiming to keep the ball on the deck then it's about passing triangles and overloads, while not playing too quick that the support can't get there. Honestly can't say aerial contests comes anywhere near my thinking in terms of ratings.
  8. If you're trying to keep attackers match ratings high, may I suggest doing pretty much anything else other than trying to get small attackers to win headers. That's just plain silly I assume you're playing as Arsenal? If you want Saka for example getting f good match ratings, virtually everything else offensively is better: dribbling defenders, completing passes, shots on goal, goals. Not once have I worried about my short forwards winning aerial battles to maintain ratings.
  9. Yes. Although I still don't understand what the point of this is. The last thing I'm concerned about with small attackers is aerial contests. If I want them to play well I'd play to their strengths. Seems a waste of time to focus on that.
  10. In every thread you've made there's a running trend of your game management being an issue. A lot of these seems to stem from presumptions about the game that don't really exist. I think first and foremost you reassess your thoughts of the game and how you approach it. Go back to basics, go to the tactics forum, or even better watch some of the content by Rashidi. And do it with an open mind or you're going to have the same issues time and time again.
  11. It wouldn't for reasons already mentioned earlier in the thread, about 6 posts ago.
  12. There's load of ideas, just take a look at the features request. But they take a lot of time and resources to go from a couple of sentences to a feature. Even the base game alone, like the ME and AI take up huge amounts of time,
  13. Also just on the data update and releasing a full release every 2 years instead. This comes up every year, despite SI previously repeatedly pointing out its a non-starter. Halving a companies revenue means half the pot from which funding can be allocated to recourses. You don't need to work at SI to see how that's going to impact making a bigger and better release.
  14. Nothing is perfect but it works much, much better than the widescale public beta did. The nature of its privacy means it doesn't get talked about but the users who contribute, the majority of whom are on this forum, do an incredible job and don't necessarily get the public plaudits they deserve
  15. SI are always on the look for users who provide good quality bug reporting and feedback. Users who fit the criteria get invited to the private beta.
  16. As well as their own internal tracking they also have an external private beta that runs all year round with a large pool of dedicated users that does just that. They also then tried to expand that previously into an even bigger all round public beta, but that bigger set of eyes never actually materialised. Those few who did provide useful feedback will almost certainly have been added to the private beta.
  17. They do use the beta branch, they infact have mutilple ways they take in information. I'm pretty sure I have explained this to you before. There's not much point in communication if you're not willing to take in said communication.
  18. That would have brought a raft of changes, although that would have decreased the injury rate in training
  19. It's like anything, players understanding what other players are doing means less miscommunication, less mistakes, which helps lead to less opportunities for the opposition. All of this ties together. Each individual effect might not be massive but it does stack up. An incohesive team of disgruntled stars are going be more reliant of individual bits of quality than a good system of attack or defence. And that inconsistency adds up over a season is what I've found in my experience. my setup is often quite demanding, and we play better as our team understanding cohesion gets better through the season
  20. No, please let's be absolutely clear, there's zero excuse for rudeness and insults. It will not be tolerated or excused and its not a point up for debate, thanks.
