  1. Please don't make false accusations about moderators. The only thing thats ever been consistently said is be constructive with feedback. And being frank, you're one of those who has repeatedly failed on this, hence the number of times mods have had to speak to you about your conduct and posting Comments like that are a good way to kill communication from the likes of Neil etc, no one wants to communicate with people who are rude. It's frustrating that this needs to be repeated, but a general point: before you press send on a message, take a second to process what you've written. if you cannot leave feedback without being rude, making personal digs, or being generally impolite, please don't post. Because I assure if you do and it falls into the above category it can only get you into trouble.
  2. I don't know if I'd want to tweak too much here. Buyt you're playing a high tempo game with pass into space. If thye make the wrong decision then you will give it up in silly areas because you're demanding very accurate football. Consider dropping one or both of the two when you see this happening. Perhaps starting the game without pass into space on and see how you play. If you're still way too inaccurate for your liking try dropping the tempo. Pass into space useful in second half as teams tire. If you're worried about the space behind Eriksen, I would change that WB to a FBs and sit narrow But remember you need to acknowledge that overall this is a very aggressive setup. I'd expect your pass completion to be mid 80s overall, with some of your more aggressive players in the high 70s But overall your results suggest it's doing its job.
  3. There's a few questions that are popping up out of real context, and they can be improved. But aside from that, they're pretty much as real life ones go (and I've sat through plenty of them and broadcast interviews for my job) Press conferences aren't exciting and don't really have much of an influence on players IRL so there's not much you more you can so with them apart from Improving context and timing
  4. No one stopped you leaving constructive feedback in the first place though, after all its what the thread is for. That post was actually written before Xaw asked people to stop. I came in and swept up everything that continued to be posted afterwards. Like I said, if people kept to that in the first place it wouldn't have been swept up initially. There's a reason why we constantly ask people to stay on topic, so things don't get buried or lost.
  5. I suspect it probably got caught up in all the spamming about patch speculation removal. Will see if it was and if it can be restored. EDIT: seen the post and it's replying to yet more date speculation Which is exactly why we don't want people filling the thread with date speculation. There is thread designed for that. Please go there, anything else like that here will be removed
  6. This post hasn't got anything to do with what I said. What I said is not to fill the thread with patch speculation so I have no idea why you have responded with this.
  7. Please stop spamming the thread with patch speculation, there is another thread for that. People have been asked not to that. It blocks up the thread for people trying to leave feedback, it's not useful to SI because it's not feedback and it's definitely not going to make any update get released earlier. It's neither feedback nor relevant to the thread, so yes they will be removed.
  8. In terms of giving useful advice in regards to FM, it's crap. The advice its been giving as examples was both woolly and incorrect, and that's what people were talking about in those examples before you came in halfway through a thread, and fired off without reading what people were responding too. Again please read the context of what people are saying, otherwise its a bit of waste of time.
  9. Yeah same. There's still some areas I'd like whacked in the ME, but massively enjoying it. I hate low block football, but it's definitely not just viable, but actually very effective in FM23. Still not for me though, lowest I'll go is a midblock
  10. Closing the thread, OP try again when you'ready to not insult people trying to help
  11. They aren't arguing against AI, but this particular AI, which is currently crap, especially as a help tool. That's been the core of the discussion. AI in general is different discussion. If you're going to have a pop, at least have the courtesy to read the detail and context they have posted
  12. This. It doesn't actually understand what it's saying. It's pseudo-knowledge
  13. I will do once I'm up and running. And re changes, no its just something I noticed about how Liverpool attacked me, playing very wide and trying to stretch my. Rather than try and meet them wide in defence 1 on 1 I protect the centre of the park and force them to play around me. Works if you think you're strong at defending crosses. For example it didn't really work against Haaland in my last save, we kept him goalless but frankly it was more luck and individual good defending than a good system defence. So I'd probably would relook at my OIs and find a better way to stop Cancelo overloading us
  14. @davehanson just read my second to last reply to you which makes it sounds like I'm annoyed. I definitely wasn't! Was on the tube so had to be brief due to signal. But tone doesn't carry across words, sorry!
  15. I know what you mean, you're looking to adapt but actually end up giving away more of an advantage
  16. @davehanson im starting new save soon, doing a Ten Hag system. I'll try and explain what I mean better with images.
  17. No offence taken. But one thing I would say is how specialised is your system? Is it built for flexibility? I'd call a lot of what I play "super systems" they reflect a play style, but aren't so specialised that I can't tweak a few roles or TIs without it all breaking down. I don't usually use more than one slot.
  18. They key bit is you're not as penalised for making tweaks as people tend to make it. Right now I'm playing a Nagelsmann style 4-2-3-1, typically a high D line and high line of engagement as you expect. Rather that letting Liverpool tire out my pressing I simply lower D line and LOE by one, let the midfield become more combative, and don't let them cut inside. My CF usually goes to a playing on the shoulder role, and I narrow my defensive width.
  19. I didn't say that at all. I literally just said I make a few tweaks to my system.
  20. Nothing, I have a system that I tend to play ( I usually have some sort of tactical replication going) and I just make a few tweaks within that system.
  21. Actually if your set up is that bad you'll concede shed loads of shots. The difference is you'll rarely see managers IRL set up as badly and teams tend to take their foot off the gas a bit more than they do in FM if the game is won
  22. This. But ultimately, if you're giving up 40 shots to a side in the same league as you, particularly when they arent completly miles ahead of your quality, I couldn't even chalk that up as a bad day. I'd go back to the drawing board immediately.
  23. But I'm not talking about transfers, I'm talking about tactically. Liverpool are going to largely play aggressive football at home, and AI teams, particularly lower ones will be more conservative but human players can set up however they want. And if you know Liverpool are going to play high wide and run with the ball you set up accordingly.
  24. I mean, they are remarkably simple to beat if you know what you're and its only this season they have fallen off from being one of the best teams in Europe. But there's no mechanic that inflates teams
