    @Zachary Whyte is the above issue down to SI hard coding something due to licensing? or is this down to the 3 game mode options what needs to be selected here perhaps?

    not working someone from SI needs to update this stop us wasting our time if it is no longer possible NB-if you look at the leagues in England there seems to be fixtures added to all the leagues,[bar EPL] but they are blank show 0 fixtures so looking like the fixtures are hard coded[and hidden in a folder we cannot access] as I checked in game and sky bet leagues have the correct fixtures when you check the games However I have added my own fixtures with results for the EPL up to today and then started the game on the 06/11/23 using a custom start date- the fixtures are correct but all the results are simmed

    Also finding trying to remove Brexit is an issue as if you add England back to EU as always works it doesnt now so is something blocking this?

    Anyone tried removing Brexit? found issue adding Agreements if you press add it only registers one entry this was the same last year but got around it by copying Agreements from a country in EU and pasting, but this isnt working for me either also there were additional helpers in FM23 specific Brexit rules - not displaying in advanced rules in FM24[but the rules are showing in game, hope they are not hard coded this time]

    Exactly the same issue as reported here for FM23 NB English players are treated as foreign Non EU why do I have to load files again when its the exact same issue as reported before?

    as reports above there is a lag loading the DB FM23 editor loads DB in seconds

    yes mate just checked to see if my system was slow for some reason loaded DB in FM23 editor in seconds so its lagging in FM24 unless the DB has increased by a huge amount? yes changes are there in DB changes checking bugs I reported last year still not fixed FM24

    only tried one edit so far in advanced rules wow not a good start

    FYI checking a few files from FM23 in new editor 1. it is super slow even loading the data 2.Seeing failed changes search doesnt find the failed change/any changes at all

    Thanks for the reply mate, its appreciated it would have been good if someone here could have pointed that out many months ago from SI, that it isnt an option so unless SI add options like this for players under a certain age/rather than over we cant do as I wanted[restrict only certain teams from signing x amount of young players per season] and same goes for non EU players too, it cant be restricted to individual teams

    yes you are right mate that is exactly what I have done hoping that "non-EU players" gets fixed for FM24

    Hi The issue I have found is if you edit any player who has a future transfer eg-[here the transfer is set for 1/7/23] if you use IGE to send this player on loan then the loan seems to override the transfer which the game removes instantly NB the same applies in reverse too- so a player on loan if you set up using the IGE a 'future transfer' [so keep him on loan but he will transfer at a later date] then the result is he gets the loan removed instantly eg-Henderson at game start is on loan use IGE set a transfer to palace on 9/6/23 He now is no longer on loan and returns to Man U

    even though the change in name is recognised [you have to do this in lnc files] and the flag has been changed in graphic folder to a celtic trinity knot the union jack still shows[cache cleared and skin reloaded ]

    I have a united Ireland file, but I used the republic [as per my home nations comp file-Wales/Scotland Eng B Ireland] will try some tests see what happens

    might just compromise set a celtic agreement etc and then have 3 years to gain residency see what happens regards newgen names and if a player gaining residency in Scotland opts to play for Ireland/Wales etc

    some good points there @themodelcitizen @Wolf_pd interesting that the actual only country left in UK/GB is England and it doesnt show The united kingdom of GB for residency

    @Zachary Whyte when free can please provide some feedback on this. Is it some leftover code from when Brexit was random in previous versions as @themodelcitizen suggests, a bug or something hard coded? as the celtic nations have been edited not to be part of the UK and as the image shows the game registers this- but it still 'defaults' to treating those celtic nations as GB for residency

    yes mate its a pain trying to find fixes to things that shouldnt be happening I was going to change the The united kingdom of GB like you suggest to something along those lines but I think that might have a bearing on the GB olympic team and dont want to cause issues with the tournament if we could edit the regions IMO that would resolve this as you could remove the countries that make up the UK, infact with what I have done it could be removed as its just England left in it
