I have created a totally new file in the 24.3 DB and added the fixtures and results again- the outcome is the same I get the same error IMO its something to do with the fixtures and the new update, was/is totally fine in the original DB

I will PM you a totally new file I have created fully in the 24.3 update the same error persists the issue is with the fixtures/results IMO

@Wolf_pd Hi mate I have submitted a bug report here just posting here as there are some users with great knowledge of the editor they may have seen this before and have a fix testing a nation rule file -england created in original DB[it only has real fixtures and results added] Test in 24.3.0 update throwing up errors cleared a couple but not seen this one before EPL is top of the display list it is happening in other files too cheers

managed to update game-6th go it finally installed @rusty217 you beauty by moving the order it is not selecting teams from the WC now however I do not like seeing this in the teams list some not allocated a group the comp is for 64 teams but the list contains over 90 I think I will have a play with being specific by continent to the exact numbers eg 20 from europe etc

Hi The game updates then shows 0GB downloaded and states to resume update-done this 3 times now already, it just is stuck in a loop there was an error message stating something about a missing Japan file?

Hi mate sounds like an option but a lot of work when the ignore option should be the way to go of interest I have got 80% of it working in that most teams taking part in my 'second' WC are not in the official FIFA WC nearest to getting it to work is this here, in stage-0 group-teams and adding get lowest qualified teams [tried various combinations this seems to be the best so far] also have to add rules here- However some of the bigger nations Brazil Germany etc are still getting selected for both comps so going to have a think and see what else I can try...in theory this should be simple

Couldnt get it to work using ignore teams qualified for competition never mind

Cheers I saw the option but thought I would need to add a caveat of naming the actual comp qualified for to ignore and I cant see where to do that. eg if my new comp is called FIFA World Silver Cup, I would be able to state in teams tab- ignore all teams qualified for FIFA World Cup

Hi I am wanting to set up a second WC tournament [I have created my own bigger FIFA WC 64 teams] but want a secondary comp to take place at the same time with another 64 nations not in the main comp @Wolf_pd are you aware of a quick way I can set up to ignore qualified teams in the FIFA WC from this secondary comp I dont care if they are random teams from the various continents as long as they dont use teams already in the WC Cheers

I have fan ownership for every club in Europe exactly the same there are no owners or sugar daddy[anywhere] set ups for a belt and braces job I have edited the valid_takeovers_only.edt to make sure there is no possibility of this changing I have given all clubs more or less parity with income/finances/sponsorship/wage budget and gone after the so called elites along with prize money being the same in most leagues and the reps all revised sponsorship transfer values/wages under nation are levelled out stricter squad rules to favour home grown staggered over a few seasons with the numbers increasing, you will see big clubs sell their non eu/foreign players and tweaked transfer rules eg keep Dutch players playing in Holland until they are 28....however making top leagues similar rep and offering same wages players dont see the need to move to the EPL etc , I have also restructured UEFA so there are usually 12 teams from each nation all playing in group stages 6 team groups in 4 comps-[this means a bigger prize pool spread around all nations not as the carve up that is real life] to accommodate this all international fixtures are played at the end of the season[works like their own mini comp for WC qualifiers all games played back to back , EURO qualifiers are gone all countries in Europe play in the finals, and I have my own nations league set up played when Euro qualifiers would be There are various other tweaks I have made The result is I have seen on sims for 10 years no 'big teams' dominate it is shared about teams from portugal,scotland,holland,france,belguim win the European cup What I want to test International squads only pick players based in home nation/continent see what bearing that has making all clubs semi professional if that can be maintained then it could be the best leveller what I want added what I really want added is option to stop clubs from signing x amount of youth players per season-this would address the ability of EPL teams signing 6 [ideally want it club specific]

Hi Thanks for the reply However the teams for the split are set correctly- I have used the exact fixtures and results for stage 0 the correct teams do go into stage 1 and stage 2 the split has the correct teams fixtures were verified for stage 1 and stage 2 and are as per real life but in game it has the correct teams in stage 1 and stage 2 but it is ignoring the set up fixtures
