@Zachary Whyte I have fixed the testing of the file info for anyone else wanting to edit fixtures in leagues that split the extra stages have to be set to 2024-not as you normally would eg setting it to the start year of the league [2023] stages 1+2 get set to 2024

I have my own UEFA set up European Cup UEFA Cup Uefa Confernece Inter Toto extra Silver Super Cup for winners conference+Intertoto I want as many clubs in all nations playing so groups are bigger 6 teams in each[no qualifiers] most nations have 12 teams playing in various comps as its fairer to accommodate all European internationals are played in the 'Summer' so Euro qualifiers are played june 2023 WC qualifiers june 2025, international friendlies also moved to summer

the game might arrange fixtures if say a club is knocked out of a cup or to cover postponed games etc eg Man city has a game v Brentford IRL set for 23/12/23 in my save the game brings this fixture forward and plays it so Man City Brentford will have that game simmed until it is played in real life the results are now working mate they are fixed your issue is the moving of fixtures covering things like my example above you can address this in advanced rules looking at scheduling/also anything with fixture priority/comps to check when setting up etc...also are there any 'spare dates' set aside for extra fixtures take a look at things like that

there is no issue with Denmark results working fine make sure all those pre loaded fixtures are removed from all the sets of rules check it again mate @Zachary Whyte FYI mate any way the custom start date can be fixed so we can use any day of the week please, as is only Monday works, been like this for several years

just checked you hadnt removed the fixtures in Euro teams rules here you go, should be fixed now Real results 2023-24 DK.fmf

if there are multiple sets of rules for a competition you have to remove all the fixtures for every set of rules IIRC there are several sets of rules for these leagues? eg default/euro teams etc

its fixed there are several ways to do it now simplest just add the agreements back-start a new save you will see England back in EU The only issue is as I/wolfpd pointed out Brexit still shows as happened in league rules[but IMO this is nothing to worry about] it would be good if a staff member from SI could just confirm this though cheers

Hi mate as per PM glad its fixed for you now using the above workaround it does seem to be that cycle happens with a new version of the editor and it gets fixed xmas/new year a bit bizarre really

licensed leagues have fixtures loaded by SI overriding the results you need to remove them in advanced rules look for any entries here -league fixtures it may show (0) fixtures but it is hidden somewhere that the editor cant display.. it needs to be cleared/deleted click on it and select clear save file and test once all leagues are checked NB some leagues have multiple sets of rules for a competition named eg default/Euro teams etc you need to check all these to see if the fixtures are entered there and remove them

Have a look at my post here go into advanced rules and clear the entries there its what I originally suggested was the issue- ''The issue I believe is this- all leagues apart from EPL have league fixtures set up for 2023 but they are totally blank suggesting the actual fixtures are hard coded and somewhere else we cannot access when I remove those blank league fixtures, the file now in advanced rules allows England to be selected and uses my fixtures but not the reults''

IMO the issue is the game but it could be the editor too, though we are able to create and verify the files with no issue and the game is reading these files[as the fixtures are correct so something is blocking it/overriding the results in game]

Hi mate its not fixed I have tried 4 sets of results using a custom start date of 11/12/23 none of them work, its exactly the same as the initial report the game is ignoring the actual results if it makes a difference I am using the original game mode Update I tried using the real World Game Mode testing Germany fixtures this bug also happens Germany is greyed out when you try to select a club at the add manager stage- however on starting as a national manager[only option] I can see Bundesliga is using the fixtures so the file is loaded, but the results are random Tried your World game mode-results do not work also in both the later tests/game modes note you cannot use the nations with edited nation rule files added when you get to try to pick a club to manage they are greyed out The fix is to start unemployed then add a second manager you can select a team then very buggy editor/game this year

yes surely its not a big ask FYI mate I tried setting England as non foreign but didnt work[havent tried since 24.2 update though] is there not anything to address this[see quote] as I cant find it surely that should be added players U21 Foreign anything you recommended to get what I want to limit certain clubs signing non EU players and mopping up all the young talent from abroad cheers

Hi Thanks for this guide excellent idea couple of questions 1.Can you have more than one launch option- I have this set in launch option -small_screen -windowed so can I add another option as your above? 2. Can I just direct FM24 to the FM23 folders, or do I have to set up a folder and move everything I want to use there initially Cheers

yes go to game status hover the mouse over the DB changes a pop up window will show the files used and the amount of actual changes made FYI this isnt a bug you could have asked in the general forum/editors forum
