Has anyone managed to move the 2022 to its normal Summer dates[june/july] I do not want to have a break mid season for the World Cup, and I want it to be playable not just edit the history. Some users are stating they have moved the WC but infact it is just not being played in 2022. just to be clear I want to make it playable in june/july 2022 I have had multiple goes at getting it to work with no joy. There is no issue stopping it from being played in the Winter, its getting it to change dates I have edited/removed these dates- and done everything obvious but there seems to be no way to get the WC to be playable in its normal Summer slot, it may be hard coded in FM23 anyone who has manged to find a fix I would appreciate your input cheers

not possible only the human/player can be made unsackable

@Wolf_pd Being able to code lock/password lock all created files so there can be no more arguments who made a particular file with it being up to the creator of the file if he allows further edits, but the initial creator is always named in the file Be able to edit the number of foreign players under a certain age that can be signed per season [make it club specific] like this Be able to change the transfer/loan window dates for all nations in a continent [eg I would like the window to close when season starts for all clubs in Europe, without having to edit every country individually, I hope this is possible now and I am just unaware how to do it] impose continental bans to specific clubs[there is a workaround, but to do this like a transfer ban would be superb] Be able to open the editor in multiple tabs and copy/paste displayed pages from one tab to the other edit the population of a nation directly[as it is now you can increase the population of cities but in game the nation's population remains unchanged, I have brought back the old Yugoslavia and it works fine however the population does not reflect the now combined countries total] In Game Editor[IGE] IGE-make AI managers unsackable IGE-edit history of everything players/clubs/competitions IGE- be able to import your own tactics/formations for AI managers IGE- swap clubs/nations in a competition before it starts IGE-create a person/ change a person 'type' from say a player to a player/non player etc IGE-edit career plans IGE-The option to edit a cup draw in real time using IGE so you could set UCL/World Cup qualifiers groups as per real life -so you could manually pick team/s to be in particular groups or pick some teams to play one another in a KO round, also pick the stadium to host a game one simple thing in game would be the option to paste text directly from an external source to the search bar

Hi The issue resolved by having both semis on same day, but at different times and stadiums so not too bad you are right about the overlapping I am going to move all World cup qualifiers to be like the European set up I have so they play as virtually mini tournaments in June, same for Euros qualifiers I will also bring AFCON etc in line with Euros so they play at same time and get a Worldwide international window of games, also now removed International friendlies down to 1 a year so the club calendar doesnt get interrupted all the time.

FYI I was also finding that the African Cup of nations was only playing out 1 semi final in 2023 [there are 2 sets of fixtures set up for 2023/2025 for AFCON] the only way I could resolve it was to set both semis to be played on the same day there seems to be a bug in that the semis were set over 2 days in these fixtures in the editor, but the rules in game indicated they should be played on one day only 18/7/23- so I set to this and issue is resolved, both semis are now played.

the 'Finals' in Africa previously were picking overseas based players but now after I edited the qualifiers to be like this, it seems I have to do the finals too ran a test on holiday and this happened[image 2 and 3 below] you get greyed out fake players in some squads or just this- unless I tick that first box only as image above

now the players based abroad are picked

@Fredrik you beauty its been driving me bonkers, I only had the issue after editing the World Cup finals to have more teams, and editing the qualifiers in Europe to take place in June[so there are no international breaks during the league season] the qualifiers for Euros and World Cup are basically mini tournaments with all group games played back to back in European summer I had nothing ticked anywhere to use continent based players only but this happened as images below, and only for African nation qualifiers [FIFA WC qualifiers are fine]- doing as you suggest seems to be the fix cheers 1

as said I am using my own custom UEFA club comps so I can then add Russia back as a nation supplying sides to the various comps

I have my own set up for Euros + World cup increased teams in finals in European qualifiers make sure the 55 nations in Europe are included so that means Russia too in game, Russia take part in all international comps but they have to play home games at a neutral venue, this is the same for their club sides too who take part in my custom UEFA comps

@rusty217 for the 2022 World Cup did you move that to a 'normal' summer date june/july? as I am about to finish my projects by trying to move the WC from the november dates as I dont want to have a break mid season for a World Cup and I want it to be playable not just edit the history cheers

its an edt file to allow certain types of takeovers- you cant generate a takeover using the pre game editor, but it can be done in game but cant be discussed on the forums I do the total opposite no sugar daddy/tycoons at all much better

is there something that can be edited to stop that other transfer rule too- allowing up to 6 foreign U21 players to be bought from abroad I know we can edit squad selection rules, but that doesnt stop the rich from buying and loaning the best young players out cheers
