    Had exactly the same issue. Uninstall the editor and then go into your hard drive, Users, your username folder, AppData, Local, Sports Interactive, and you'll see the editor folder for FM24. Delete this folder and reinstall the editor and it should work. It worked for me, and I've had no issues since.

    I see what you mean. You could always try setting him to be available for the second team at the bottom of the that tab. Or if you can't just use him as a sub late in the games to gain some experience that way to build his stats.

    A great read thanks. I actually had a fun save on FM23 with Zanaco. Always enjoy managing in Africa so I might try again on this year's edition.

    Not sure but the more data that's loaded and the length of the save would cause it to increase. How many leagues and players do you currently have in that save?

    You could easily set the league up as playable in the editor if you can't fine an edit that someone has created.

    You should be able to send them back to the feeder team by clicking on the feeder team as the image shows below. With regards to the salary, I'm not sure but I guess they would be paid more if they are on an MLS contract. Hope this helps.

    Yeah, you could do and maybe Mexico, a couple of major European leagues and also Japan as they tend to have a few south American exports. You could always add a few extra leagues as view only as well and then change them to playable if you feel like managing there later on in the save.

    Just load up the leagues you want without selecting a team beforehand. That way you are able to choose a start time based on the leagues selected.

    You can just select a team from another nation when the game has loaded, when you are taken to the team select screen.

    Totally depends on your preference mate. In Europe Scandanavia is always fun as is Croatia and Hungary IMO. If you are looking at loading up over 30 leagues you have a lot of scope. Have a look here if you haven't already for some more ideas. the9llamas Good luck!

    Me too. Haven't been able to access the editor since launch because of this issue.

    He was incredible. His stats as a teenager were ridiculous. He was the first name on the team sheet at 17 and a full international at 18. Played well over 700 games for me in total and had just shy of 200 caps. Incredibly unrealistic but fantastic all the same.

    Haven't started a save yet tbh. Just been having a play around and trying to decide where to start. Probably start one by the weekend and then stick with in until the winter update.

    I would also like this to be implemented in game. However, the sheer scale of the game would make it a difficult proposition. We can but hope though.

    Don't think it's possible on this year's edition mate. There seems to be no option in the tactics or set piece section for it. To be honest I didn't know you could do it in previous editions.

    You can make the changes in the editor fairly simply to implement promotions/relegations.

    I think it's all leagues regardless of reputation. Every view only league I've added on previous editions once the manager goes, they aren't replaced. I may be wrong but I've had saves where Barcelona, Bayern, etc are managerless until I make the leagues playable.

    It's still undecided yet and they are still discussing the idea of a return of promotions/relegations, so I doubt that they have been implemented into FM24. As Brother Ben suggested try holidaying into the future for a few seasons and see if anything changes.

    Yes, Newgen's will be generated if you load the players database for said league but that's about it. Say for example you set La Liga to view only, Newgen's will generate but once the real-world manager is sacked/leaves the team will be managerless from there on. Also view only leagues won't be as active in the transfer market in turn weakening them as the game progresses. If you are only interested in Newgen's then view only is fine, but keep in mind it will affect international and continental competition quality as the game goes on.
