Let me just clarify what I meant. If you have a filter for male and female staff, you are signaling out one sex over the other. For example, I want a female so and so or a male so and so. There are female staff in the game, but I don't go through the list of staff and choose who I want based on sex. I chose the ones with the best attributes. IRL you can't filter candidates between sex so adding it to the game would cause a lot of kick back, I think. It would be like adding a filter based on skin colour which would be unacceptable.

No, it isn't. The save data is compatible between PC and Xbox if you're using Game Pass Ultimate and the console edition of the game. You wouldn't be able to transfer saves between console and full fat unfortunately.

You'll have no problem with the game, by starting the game in 2024 you will just have simulated results up to that point. There is nothing you can do about that as the game isn't aware of real-life results after its release.

Still have to game lying around somewhere back home along with the other disc-based versions (live in Japan now). I still occasionally go back to CM 01/02 as I can breeze through a season in a couple of hours, and it had a great balance of depth but without the complexity of modern titles. A great nostalgia trip to my teen years.

Hi guys, I've been playing the game since Championship Manager 00/01 but I've never had a save with so many unlikely competition winners so early on. I'm coming into my 4th season of my FM24 save and Ireland have lifted the World Cup in 2026. They won every game on the way to lifting the trophy an amazing achievement seeing some of the teams they faced along the way. Jamacia even reached the QF stage. I've had the likes of Morrocco, Tunisa, Norway, etc winning the World Cup on previous games but much deeper into my saves. On a side note, Villa have won back-to-back Champions Leagues whilst finishing the season in 8th and 7th place respectively in the Premier League. Anyone else had a shock winner of a major tournament so early on?

The game speed stars mean very little. However, 59,000 players with an estimated 4-star speed is very good. You could easily drop down to between 2/3 stars and wouldn't feel a slowdown. I'm playing with over 90,000 on two stars and I'm breezing through the seasons. With regards to set up it depends on where you want to start, I'm currently doing a journeyman save in Latvia. I've got the Scandinavian leagues, Croatia, Serbia, Kazakstan, Hungary, England, Italy, Spain, Germany, Italy, Holland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania loaded as playable with everywhere else view only. Also, all national level reputation / international players loaded in Africa and international players from South America with all top league Brazilian and Argentinian players loaded.
